Hey let me start off buy saying i help pay you salary i've spent around 2000.00 us dollars on this game maybe more and i get a build set up or buy a sweet item then you nerf it

stop nerfing i know the free to play people like to cry every day all day but the people that pay to win are the people you should listen too because if you keep nerfing the things i get it will lead to the people who provide a nice living for you to stop buying the items you put out stand by your work don't let free to play players dictate a game they have no stock in

stop nerfing and keep getting paid or nerf away and we will walk away

    thanks have a nice day

    paying customer

Actually, it's you "pay to win" types that cry about overpowered gear and scream for nerfs.

im still trying to figure out what he wants, I don't speak his language. the jest of what I got was he spent money on this game and thinks he can speak for everyone. I was here from the very the very start, I was among the first to buy their lifetime. however I have never talked for anyone but myself and I have never told the devs how do their jobs. because that I spent money close to 1000 on this game.
op its a mmo these things happen, it will happen to any mmo game you play, it is how you deal with the change.

Well, another found the dots, not sure if those were fraks. BUT, it works either way, as if they're not, it means, he doesn't give one frak about the original poster's comments, lol!

I agree that there should be no more nerfing.

In fact it should be made a litigable offense.

I think there should be some sort of MMO Oversight Commity.

After all, we are talking about paid for items.

The best thing would be to isolate the devs from forum access.

They should only take suggestions from their manger who would have sole forum access.

A bit medevil, but would eliminate cry nerfing.

Well I build a nice ship and the only thing that has changed so far is ui off items, my stuff wasn't nerfed. and when Mk XII came out I upgraded the whole thing to Mk XII.
And the old lady still delivers a good punch in STF's.

This game is fine the way it is and off course they do nerve down some stuff ....
Only thing they nerfed too much is the Tri Cobalts ....
Men you should grind a bit more and pay a bit less if you agro about it !!!

"FUN" is earning or buying something in game and enjoying it forever unnerfed just because someone who can't work around that something thinks it's overpowered.

They don't "have to" nerf anything.

No, medieval would describe the sort of punishment I should like to impose upon people who whine about stupid things on the forums.

(It would elimate "Cry Nerfing" far more effectively than your MMO oversight committee or lawsuits over the effectiveness of a tricobalt mine.)

I doubt you could hold a Bolian Candle to me and what I would like to do to those responsible for nerfing and or referring to my comments as "stupid things."

Sadly the internet anonymity allows people to be rude to others they would normally have a healthy aversion to upsetting.

Bottom line is that things purchased should not be altered. This is illegal in the Real World and should be made so as well in the Virtual one.

Unfortunately, Cryptic would be one of the first to be clobbered by this litigation, and I would rather have STO exist even if they have to do unethical things to keep it online.

Great job! I fired my R&D team. They were executed for incompetence also. Is there anyway to send this thread to that universe? It would surely help the OP.
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.

I spent 80 minutes on that first page trying to find those fraks. I had to contact a professional analyzer. He told me there are no fraks. So the logical conclusion here is you gave no fraks, or the fraks are cloaked on a quantum dimensional plain.

I'm still not sure. I will do further research on this matter...

Best post. In this whole thread.

And for the record, my Engineering team found the fraks he gave. He gave them to his sanitation system. The dots that were found were the cleansed remainders of those fraks. You guys need to talk to your chief Engineers. XD

As for you OP. I have this to say:

You serious? If so, why so serious? In reality, you should just take a quick breather, and then move along.

To be honest, I feel this way, and I imagine many other people feel this way. Because your life is so hard, you paid all those EC to make a build, and something got nerfed. Well... I got bad news for you... and here it is.

tareruntalion stop being a mooch and realize that money is how games get made. Don't expect something for nothing or for "everyone else" to pay your way.:rolleyes:

Part of the reason things get nerf'd they way they do... this very forum. Once a good build gets know, people come on here and say "this is the ONLY build that matters." Pretty soon "everyone" starts using that build and people start steamrollering content. Next thing you know we have threads proclaiming "ok all that new stuff the Devs worked on is TRIBBLE compared to this build, use only THIS build or you don't matter. "

How many months have we been obsessing over Aux2Batt builds and FAW to the near-exclusion of everything else? The meltdown that will happen when they finally stealth-nerf or counter the advantage of this build will be the stuff of internet legends.

Frankly, if you find a build, an exploit or a combo that dominates... the forum is NOT the place to advertise it. The company wants many different people trying many different things... playing and experimenting and spending money. Saying "This is the only build on the only ship on the only class that matters" kind of breaks the system.

My advice...? Don't discuss builds and combos on here. At all. That'll slow down the amount of Nerf-age considerably.

^^^^What this person said! Aux2Bat is not as "op"ed as so many claim it is. I use it for my engineer, it does not make me god-like in the least. And yet, so many want it to get Nerffed... oh-well. Same goes for people who have the miss-giuded idea that spamming "FAW" and ignoring everything happening around you is the only way to go...

QQ I'm so sorry your overpowered build was removed from the game. Please, tell me more about how you should win all the time by paying out the TRIBBLE. I occasionally put a few bucks down for things too, but unlike you, I don't go right for the I win button every time. This is how I know I won't be screwed over later. Maybe if your money could buy brains you'd realize this.

What's sad, imho, is looking at the amount of Zen, Dil, and Lobi spent on my toon Willard...

...oh, he's hasn't been nerfed - I waited to get certain things until after they had been nerfed - being honest in my appraisal of them being too powerful and thus putting off that purchase decision...

...and sadly, no amount of time/money spent to continue gearing him will really make him all that much better - again being honest in my appraisal of my own abilities.

The gist of what I've gotten from this thread, is a lack of the OP being honest in his or her appraisal of quite a few things, eh?

i dont agree with the OP's whine tactic, But i am getting abit tired of slaving away to create a build, and once i have it i get to play for a week and then part of it gets wrecked by some nerf or patch.

Agreed, this is bothering the hell out of me too. Starting to get fed up with it.

Interesting logic here. The OP has clearly not read his TOS when subscribing to the game, and as always "caveat emptor" applies. Either that or it's a generational thing whereby young'uns are considering the virtual world and its contents to be as "real" as, well, the real one.

Anyway, nerfing is older than MMOs; just ask anyone who's played tabletop wargames. The solution in either case is the same; play with a build because you like the style rather than because it is the (allegedly) most potent and you are much less vulnerable to fickle changes.

I'll be honest, this should be a priority...if we also get bulbasaur, squirtle and pikachu too.

Also charmander should set people on fire.

There's a simple solution to this. Just don't use P2W gear for builds. Use white items only and get really good with them. You'll feel a great sense of accomplishment if you can beat a P2W noob with gear that without breaking the 500K EC mark.
