Hey let me start off buy saying i help pay you salary i've spent around 2000.00 us dollars on this game maybe more and i get a build set up or buy a sweet item then you nerf it
stop nerfing i know the free to play people like to cry every day all day but the people that pay to win are the people you should listen too because if you keep nerfing the things i get it will lead to the people who provide a nice living for you to stop buying the items you put out stand by your work don't let free to play players dictate a game they have no stock in
stop nerfing and keep getting paid or nerf away and we will walk away

paying customer
This is an MMO. MMOs are founded on getting people to grind or pay for more stuff. There is no conclusion, just infinite grind. It's also part of the way RPGs work. RPGs are about getting better and better stuff.
Life is also generally played this way. People go to school and then try to get better jobs or promotions in order to get better and better stuff.
There will always be better gear and ships on the horizon. This is also like technological advancement. When you buy a computer it's already obsolete because the new technology that's better has already been developed.
I like the idea of having retro STFs that are challenging and limit people to simpler ships, but most people just want more buttons to push. That's also part of MMO growth: more buttons to push = challenge.
Well, skgreenacid, I am a 'paying customer' myself, been a Lifetime member since Season 2, and I hate when people who feel entitled like you do, think you can speak unilaterally for me.
If I ever leave the game, it won't be for the reasons you've posted.

i dont agree with the OP's whine tactic, But i am getting abit tired of slaving away to create a build, and once i have it i get to play for a week and then part of it gets wrecked by some nerf or patch.
Can i have nice things for at least a month please?:)
Inertia just means you can do Powerslides in you carrier!

The OP is exactly why i loath translator programs.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
I've put forth plenty of money to get things that I want for this game, but I never get uppity about things when they get nerfed or changed. I make like the Borg and adapt instead of wasting my time and energy whining.
The game would be better off without people like the OP, in my humble opinion.

how dare we f2p players even want a chance to actually play any game, cryptic you should be ashamed make this game pay to win and only accesible to those who have spent thousands and thousands of money, how dare we poor people have a chance to play a game with ships from a series we like. we should be ashamed us lowlifes
I spent 80 minutes on that first page trying to find those fraks. I had to contact a professional analyzer. He told me there are no fraks. So the logical conclusion here is you gave no fraks, or the fraks are cloaked on a quantum dimensional plain.
I'm still not sure. I will do further research on this matter...
The dress is gold and white. Over 70% people says so. When viewed from a certain screen angle it appears blue and black. The dress displayed on amazon is a blue and black dress, but it's not the same dress in the picture. If you're seeing blue & black you're slightly colored blind. A normal upright screen = white and gold.
tareruntalion stop being a mooch and realize that money is how games get made. Don't expect something for nothing or for "everyone else" to pay your way.:rolleyes:
Part of the reason things get nerf'd they way they do... this very forum. Once a good build gets know, people come on here and say "this is the ONLY build that matters." Pretty soon "everyone" starts using that build and people start steamrollering content. Next thing you know we have threads proclaiming "ok all that new stuff the Devs worked on is TRIBBLE compared to this build, use only THIS build or you don't matter. "
How many months have we been obsessing over Aux2Batt builds and FAW to the near-exclusion of everything else? The meltdown that will happen when they finally stealth-nerf or counter the advantage of this build will be the stuff of internet legends.
Frankly, if you find a build, an exploit or a combo that dominates... the forum is NOT the place to advertise it. The company wants many different people trying many different things... playing and experimenting and spending money. Saying "This is the only build on the only ship on the only class that matters" kind of breaks the system.
My advice...? Don't discuss builds and combos on here. At all. That'll slow down the amount of Nerf-age considerably.

Well if you highlight his post, you'll see that there are 23 cloaked dots. Our science teams are still trying to determine if these are indeed the "fraks" he was talking about. It appears that our sensor capabilities are more advanced than yours. :P:rolleyes:

Just because you put money into a F2P game does not mean you have the right to tell the devs how to do their job. You are a customer, not a stockholder. Also, if something is UNBALANCED; as in it give an unfair advantage to those that use it; then it should be nerfed back into proper bounds.
Cryptic has full ownership of everything in this game, including everything you "purchase". This means they can change, amend, nerf, buff, or remove anything and everything within this game, including the game itself. You pay for access, not ownership.

Sadly, new people come in and advertise anyway and those still in game will forget said advice and we will be in square one again. But thank you for showing me the futility of human endeavor.

Can be anyone, not necessarily a F2P guy. But I digress. To get back on point; yes, guy will be crying "unfair" and it will be nerfed into oblivion. I don't like it either, but it is the nature of the beast.

Let's talk about stupid generalizations first of all, I've seen many a claim from gold members asking for adjustments here and there so it isn't something you can just blame on the F2P crowd.
Second, a few F2P players can't afford to spend money on the game but many, myself included have spent hundreds, should they be any less entitled than you even though their cash outlay may be comparable?
Third, your 2000 dollar's means what to a company working in 5 and 6 figures? You're not paying anybody's wages, you're not even paying for their parking space, so get a grip.
The developers have to make sure that the game is enjoyable to as wide a player base as possible because that is where the money is, they can not afford to ignore the greater whole focusing on the desires of a select few.
Nobody likes nerfs but its easier to nerf one thing than to buff everything else to compensate and it's always going to be an ongoing process because for every adjustment made by developers there are dozens of players looking for ways to exploit those changes in ways the developers may not have intended, add to this the constant demand of players wanting new and better things, while trying to keep the older gear competitive.
Frankly we are lucky they are doing these things, if they weren't, we'd end up with a server full of copies of one OP ship and build and no variety whatsoever.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
Lol, sounds like someone has to pay to have any sort of ability, to me.
Instead of crying about your stuff sucking, why don't you practice with it, and learn to make it effective?
Oh, and on a similar vein, I'm sure others have paid for newer stuff than yours, so yours all of a sudden being made to out-shadow theirs, I'm sure would anger those others. But yeah, it's all about you here, right?
