Nog's Nog Recipe and Other Holiday Food Recipes *team is investigating*

Hello am i the only Klingon who cant resolve the Mission Nog's Nog Recipe? i guess its because of the Race because we cant replicate Root Beer i hope Cryptic will look forward to make it Possible to get the Accolade

    Pretty sure certain Chef Doffs unlock your food choices

    Plus you can go to places like drozana/DS9 to get food items?

    And when in doubt, exchange it :p

    (plus i think the chef on your ship (visit ship bridge then down to crew deck) stocks random food/drink items)

    This is definitley bugged as my kdf toon cannot complete this mission under any circumstances. I have tried 3 different versions of the nog's nog recipe, have tried switching instances, logging in & out & shutting the game down completely & restarting. The wonderland chef will not recognize you are in possesion of the recipe so you can't get it or the holliday chef accolade done. 2 of the recipes I earned & bought 1 off the xchng. I also already have the root beer required in my inventory. Filed a ticket, #2,146,044 on 12-07-13.

    jep some of my friends tried it with their KDF toons and they cant do it

    the Problem is Root beer is a Human Meal i have it in the Inventory but it wont matter Cryptic has to fix that

    Same issue,no way to start the mission. Chef does not recognise that I have recipe in inventory.

    I have all but Nog's Nog. Chef will not acknowledge it.

    Also same problem with KDF-allied Romulans.

    I traded it to a Fed friend and he was able to use it.

    Steps tried:

    1. Had one mailed to me, logged off/on, and no success.

    2. Bought one off of the exchange (oh your recipes are not under the recipe tab) and no success.

    3. Friend traded one to me and it did not work.

    To add the same info as BBerge1701 the toon is a tac KDF.

    I've got two KDF characters wit this bug -- Joined Trill and Orion. They both got the recipe in the Winter Invasion, and it shows up in their inventory correctly. They can't get the mission from the Winter Chef. I mailed one of them a Root Beer from one of my Fed characters, but it's a moot point if they can't even start the mission.

    I noticed that at least most, possibly even all the posters in this thread are LTS, wonder if that has anything to do with the bug.

    Iam not a LTS so it wont matter What u are just if ur a Klingon that counts

    is there a dialogue option "talk"?

    I had a problem on a fed where the dialogue options went weird and a couple of them just said "talk" instead of what I would have expected. The mission offer was one of these...

    I noticed an issue with Jumja fudge that causes it to not actually give you any fudge. :(

    I've had two separate issues with Jumja Fudge:

    The recipe was in a Gingerbread Colony present, and although I was first to interact, the TAKE button on the pop-up window wouldn't let me take the recipe.

    I then bought a recipe at the Exchange, but completing it used up the recipe without leaving the fudge.

    I submitted a bug report, but this doesn't seem to be a part of this week's fix.

    Anyone have any insight? Anyone? Bueller...? :(

    I haven't tried the Fudge one yet, but I can add my Ferasan Male Tac to the list of KDF characters that do not have the ability to acquire the Nog's Nog mission despite having the recipe in my inventory. Other recipes do appear to be functioning properly.

    And I can confirm this... Not only is the fudge not given, it isn't even listed in the rewards for the assignment...

    I did note that I got TEN items as rewards instead of my fudge though. The total number of rewards is consistent with other recipes. They all give ~10 items, most of them food.

    Here's a question I came up with after doing some exchange searching. Is there a recipe for "Rum, buttered, hot"? I searched exchange and found nothing. Unless I'm wrong, it was one of the holiday foods in a previous iteration of QWW.

    Yeah, it's bugged. On the upside it gave me 10 holiday commods instead of the food.

    Ok, figured out the problem. The rum recipe has a weird name spelling. "Rum. Buttered. Hot. Recipe" I don't get why it has those extra spaces, but it does.

    I just "finished" the fudge recipe as well. I receive 0 fudge and the accolade does not complete either.

    Exactly what it says on the tin. Either Q is trolling us, the Bajorans are scamming us or the mission is just broken and won't give out Jumja Fudge items. Please fix since this is a limited time thingy.

    The mission completes, but does not award the food item. Nor does it complete the accolade. I've done the recipe twice, and it is still not checked off in the accolade list.

    I guess chef eats it himself? :confused:
