I think they should make it so that if you're AFK in the spire long enough a T-rex finds it's way in and throws said person outside the map...lol. This whould totally not be a Jurassic Park referance at all
I'm not dead. I've just had RL things to do as of late as well as dealing with a myriad of illnesses. I've run Season 8 once and I'll admit I'm slightly disappointed with the direction this game is going. We have hundreds of actual Trek stories that could be told in the Alpha quadrant without employing Dinos with lasers on their heads.

You know me. I agree with the both of you. Season 8 could have solely been about the Solanae and Iconians, and we would have been perfectly fine with it. I might even go so far as to say it SHOULD have been so......
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"

Season 8: The breach. About all it is still for me. And I've already gotten bored several times over from doing it despite it's nice design. Haven't been on as much as usual either except for keeping some dil coming, Fleet donations and finishing the voth rep and lobi daily.
And if anyone knows, do any actual missions happen at T4 (I imagine some have completed T4 by now, 3 more days to go for me) or T5 voth rep? It seems a bit of a let down there have been no missions so far when compared to the romulan rep other than videos that don't quite tell much so far.

They could probably start by wrapping any of the following storylines:
Fed/Klingon war
The Undine
Sela's Romulans
The Tholians
The Elachi
The Deferi/Breen
The Borg
Did I mention Iconians?
Not to forget, they've got an entire Gamma Quadrant full of Dominion... which they only tapped into in one FE chain.
I fully agree, we absolutely need a formal mission establishing the end of the Klingon/Federation War. I feel the Undine story arc was wrapped up well with the final Undine story mission, "A Light in the Dark". Sela's Romulans and the Iconians I want to see dragged out long into the future. I love how Cryptic is building on this, making the Iconians something truly worthy of our hate.
Now the Elachi, I hate them, they are annoying to fight and they are disgusting. Kidnapping Federation, Klingon, and Romulan citizens to use as breeding material for their larvae is...yuck...who wrote up that idea? Cryptic should give us a one off Klingon mission where we have a chance to gut every last Elachi in the galaxy. Either that, or a Section 31 mission where we release a lethal retrovirus to annihilate the entire race.
The Tholians I see a large amount of potential, especially with tie-ins with the Mirror Universe and the Dominion. I have a feeling they will play a major role in any future Cardassian faction.
I honestly enjoyed the Breen arc, but I don't see Cryptic doing anything with them for a while. I'd like to see Iconian story arc progression before revisiting the Breen.
The Borg do need an end, Star Trek canon establishes the defeat of the Borg in the 25th Century through the actions of the United Federation of Planets. I'd love to play that arc and finish off the Borg permanently.
As far as I understand memory alpha states there is no definite canon on the fate of the borg after voyager? So I think what happens with them is still potentially wide open for cryptic to determine.

what piece of canon stated that? keeping in mind that books are not canon unless officially declared so by CBS
i do not remember it ever being stated anywhere that the borg were permanently defeated in the 25th century

After this, there is no canon information on the state of the Collective. However, since the Borg controlled thousands of star systems and worlds, one can surmise that the destruction of the Unicomplex would not destroy the entire collective, or the queen for that matter, since Star Trek: Voyager shows the Collective to be capable of surviving a queen's death in 'Star Trek: First Contact'. It is also unknown if the neurolytic pathogen was an isolated phenomenon to the Unicomplex, or if it spread throughout the entire Collective, or how much damage it was able to deliver.

Death is OP, please nerf. I BLAME KURLAND FOR THIS!
The queen is just the physical representation of the Borg, not the Borg in total. If you look throughout Voyager, the queen they mostly dealt with seemed to not mind blowing up her own ships in her attempt to assimilate Voyager. In fact, once they changed back to the First Contact queen in "Endgame", that queen seems to want Voyager to TRIBBLE off and leave the Borg alone.
While I get that's a case of two different actresses playing the part, it's interesting when you look at their actions as played by those two actresses. Almost as if one queen represents a more militaristic approach while the other is more pragmatic (by Borg standards).
So I always felt the Borg were still around. And it'd be nice if they got their WTH status back. The Federation needs an antagonist that could whip their tale. The Dominion represents that as well, but they can at least be negotiated with.
The Borg can't.

The Borg used to be scary and... till STO got to them.
One of my favorite scenes with the Borg is in Scorpion, where Janeway is actually on the cube, talking out to the facelessness of the ship. Now that was cool. Really felt like the Borg should. (So to a very limited extent, the Borg can be negotiated with. See Scorpion parts 1 & 2.)
Now, I just go "Oh look, another Borg. You might as well lay down and die like the 100,000 not-scary Borg before you." The only time they really felt scary was when I first did the tutorial, and was afraid that if a drone got within arm range it would assimilate me.
Fek'ihri: Favourite episode chain in the entire game. I really wish they would develop it more. Like the Hur'q DNA, they could say that the Hur'q are actually alive and make a war where the Klingon Empire actually helps the Hur'q against the Elachi or some other enemy and they make peace afterwards, which would result in playable Hur'q species and starships for the KDF...

or the far more likely result - the hur'q are revealed to be yet another iconian servitor race

There is not any one Borg Queen. Her consciousness stays within the Hive, just like all the other drones. And a clone is fabricated when and where needed. So killing one Queen does nothing, as all you did was kill this one body, which is why we have several times seen Queeny die but still return later.
