Ship Reward for 4th Anniversary Event (Closed, Necro)

For the ship reward for next year's anniversary event, can we get balloon ships that fire balloon torpedoes? Wouldn't mind if its a reward for April Fool's.

    Cool idea though, but I wouldn't think It'll happen if I'm honest.

    It is the perfect ship for Q to give away and the ship design is already done for it. Since it is a Q made ship, then it should be at least somewhat durable to survive for some time before it pops.

    Actually, in Star Trek: The Animated Series, the Enterprise went crazy with some weird nebula cloud and to fool the Romulans, it inflated a giant balloon Enterprise. No... seriously...

    Go watch it... 18:40. Just. I love this show. Haha.

    I would love it if they bring back the Odyssey, because I wasn't here for the 2nd anniversary and I really really want that ship.

    You can buy the free Oddy from the Fleet Store for 200,000 FCs. The C-Store version is much better. You'd be better off grinding Dilithium for a month or so and getting one of the C-Store Odyssey versions.
    STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

    I agree with you totally. I would love the Odyssey, and I was not here for the second anniversary event. I realize that you can buy it from the fleet store, but you need a Tier V Fleet Shipyard, which will most fleets do not. And some of us don't have time for grinding the dilithium to buy the Zen.

    Another ship I would love to have is the Galaxy. If they give a revamped Galaxy, I would be happy.
    Proposal - If we're going to be Fleet Admirals, let's act the part.

    Jokes apart, i wouldn't be suprised if they bring up a ship on the same template as the odissey:
    A limited edition ship which is good at first, but then gets it's C-store versions and the original limited edition one becomes as good as dead klingon gagh.

    I say for the fourth anniversary we rerelease the Odyssey and Bortas alongside a new ship - a unique design for the Romulan Republic flagship. Dev team only has to work on one new ship, Roms get a proper flagship class and a future C-Store 3-pack, everybody wins.

    It wont be the Odyssey again . that ship is already in-game in the fleet and c-store
    More than likely we will see three new ships , one for each faction , with a beefed up store version coming a couple of months later

    How about one free c-store ship PER ACCOUNT. That way they'll still make money from their cash cow...I mean lockboxes. And most of the c-Store ships are old (except for the Avenger and Scimitar).
    One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.

    That would be such a money lost for cryptic, so no way.
    Both branflakes and geicko said there is a new ship coming and possibly return of breen ship.
    So maybe even two ships for winter event.

    I think we should have a Death Star as this year's Winter Wonderland ship.

    Hull Strength: 10,000,000
    Fore: 20
    Aft: 10
    Bridge Officer Stations: 5 Commander Univerals
    Consoles: 20 Tactical, 15 Engineering, 5 Science
    Turn Rate: 5
    Console - Universal - Planet Destroyer
    -Destroys all ships within 100 degrees of the weapon.

    XD. Actually, I'd want a science vessel type of ship.
    I would love to visit this star in-game...or maybe this one!

    winter event and anniversary are two different things :p only going to be one ship for christmas

    Maybe they will give us the New Orleans Class Frigate. As they are running out of Canon ships to give us.

    I want a ship with a ton of nacelles. Like this ship was on the receiving end of one of Oprah's give aways.

    Ok, I guess not. How about a new destroyer for the feds (hell everyone else gets hybrids, let's get a new one or two for our pampered little feddies), and a new sci ship for the Rommies and KDF?

    And as for winter event? Undine Nicor Cruiser. Plox.

    OMG OMG OMG a Tribble SHIP. On the bridge they are EVERYWHERE, plus some type of humanoid/tribble hybrid crew. Crew regen would be off the chain.

    Console - Universal - Modulated Tribble Launcher * Launches 3 level 51 Modulated Tribble's. Based on Tribbles YOU HAVE. Nukara tribble has 20% Chance to do a Nukara thing. Yadda Yadda.

    Gomtuu, complete with a 15km radius Gravimetric Shockwave; that would work like a Photonic Shockwave, have its damage reduced by distance from Gomtuu, have no disable, 100% shield penetration, and knockback to the edge of its radius. While an ability innate to the ship, it should have a 5 minute cooldown. The ship model should at least be fairly simple...

    What, didn't you ever wonder how it and Tam Elbrun ended up after the events of "Tin Man"?

    naa for the 4th, I really hope they just rerun the last couples of years anniversary and let people snag what they missed.

    really like an oddy for my engineering alt or who knows. Maybe they'll make a watered down version of the vesper for everybody[probably minus the cannons and and a different boff setup] and have an equivalent ship for the roms and klingons.
