What are y'all talking about? I still have "Status" in the drop-down menu on my fleet roster.
We're talking about the status that pops up when you hover over someones name, if they were offline, it used to say when they last logged in. Makes kicking inactives a bigger pain than it should be.

This makes kicking inactives in a large fleet next to impossible and needs to be changed back ASAP. When you have 500 members, or close to it, how can anyone seriously be expected to keep track of who was last online a few days ago and a few months ago. Going to have me sitting there looking at the roster guessing who I should kick and who I should let stay, not at all a good system.
We all have Status showing but when you select it the only thing shown by each member is a comment they may have made on their public profile. It should state something like "last online 10/11/13 16:30......
That is crucial information for managing a fleet, we always used it, now we can't.
Yes, I'm aware of what it's supposed to do. You're saying that it now duplicates the "Member Comments" information? I'll have to check this for myself when next I go in-game.
I would hazard a guess that such a thing is not intended, and that it should be reported as a bug, rather than complained about as an intentional change. Such a change makes no sense.
One of the best tools I and other members of my fleet had to maintain our fleet was to hold the mouse over the name and see when the last time they logged in was. Now, that's gone. It's going to make it extremely difficult to properly maintain our roster and know exactly who the inactives are. Any chance this will get resolved?
Just a friendly heads-up, the Beta "Gateway" still does have fleet rosters with last log-in times for each member! And even though I (and many other players) are locked out of the game, this site still works! https://auth.startrekonline.com/
So here's the story, I run a rather large active 400 member FED Fleet. Been doing so for past year and a half, we have had our share of mutiny and useless eaters over that span of time. But always my team of Fleet Admirals and myself have used the Fleet Roster to weed out the good from the bad. From time to time we will do a purge of In-active fleet members who have not been online in 3 months or longer and have not donated anything to Starbase Construction projects. To make way for new members and not clog up the roster list. But recently I have noticed that the Date/Time has been removed when you hover your mouse icon over their name (in the roster) that would tell you when last time that person was online or not. Is this affecting anyone else's fleet? To me this is a HUGE issue. How in the world am I suppose to keep track of in-active Fleet Members in a 400 member Fleet? How am I suppose to tell if my Fleet Admirals are logging online to do their duties? How in the world am I going to keep track of my HUGE Fleet I have been running now???
Does anyone have any suggestions on the course of action I should take? Or any ways to go around this problem and find out the Time/Date of people logging online to STO?

This seems to be a new problem that may be related to the newly broken "Status" column selection in the fleet roster tab, which is where I used to check for last login data.
A workaround I just figured out may be of use for you. Send a fleet wide mail requesting them to enter a new "Member Comment" each time they log in, or at least once per TRIBBLE time frame you deem acceptable.
When you hover your mouse over the comment, the date and time it was made will appear.
As to individual member contributions, I just tested the information in the "Overall Holding Contribution" column selection, and it is updating properly when a contribution is made.
I just came up with a workaround in reply to another thread.
Send a fleet wide mail requesting everyone to enter a new "Member Comment" each time they log in, or at least once per TRIBBLE time frame you deem acceptable.

As of 11/17/13, there is a bug that will not let me check the Date/Time of Fleet Members in my Fleet roster. When u hover your mouse icon over the names of members it should tell you last date they logged online. This option is need to run a large Fleet. Please tell me a solution.

Increased the number of fleet members displayed on the roster page from 10 to 50.
I noticed that the roster isn't showing statuses anymore like when the last online date was. Is this a bug or intended? It is still working on the gateway, but having it in the game also is a major help!
Yea, I noticed it at the beginning of S8 (when it started) and made a thread about it. Got to be a few pages but there was no official response. I would still like to know if this was intentional and if so, why?

It's not intentional. There was an official post about it.
Previously it was possible to view a fleet member's 'Last Online' date, by hovering over the player's name on the Fleet Roster.
I've noticed today that that info is no longer shown. Does anyone know if this is indeed a bug (as hope), or if Cryptic chose to omit this info?
Since S8 last patch I noticed there was a drastic change to the fleet roster "status" tab. It's there but it doesn't show any information on member's activity status. Is this the new norm or is it broken?
I did not see any posts on this topic nor any updates as to why it was being left off. It was an important tool for fleets (IMO) to purge inactives from their roster or the so called "dead wood" in a fleet. Has something else created to oversee that function or is it now up to fleets to find other ways to determine member "activity"?
If any DEVS around please elaborate since not much being said about it and makes inactive purging more difficult to do with that featured that was originally enabled since game launched.

Really awkward if you run a fleet with an inactivity rule.

I am not sure about #1 (will pass along) but #2 is a bug. Team is investigating.

I just checked and can confirm that last login does function on Gateway.... at least for me anyways.
Is it possible to get an option to see when someone's character joined a fleet?
And to be able to sort the roster by user name as well as character name.
