Fleet Roster Window Issue(s) *Resolved*

Fleet Roster tab seems to slightly buggered....

1. Will now only display a maximum of 10 members per page.

2. The "Status" info column (last log-in info) is blank (even after reselecting).

Not a 'show stopper', but a fix would be appreciated.

    I thought it may just be the low end laptop I'm using to get in the game.

    (15 seconds just to open the inventory window).
    (My main PC is a victim of the "Great Crash of 08")

    But the only "status" I see in the Roster window is my own. (All other players are offline).
    Contributions, and member comments seem to be intact.

    You can see the details of offline players by checking the box in the lower left corner of the subject tab.

    Yes, I can still see the other details, but the "Status" info is important to track who has been on as of late and keep an eye out for inactive accounts.

    Hope your other issue can be remedied.

    It's extremely annoying to be managing a fleet/fleets when I can't see who has been active. I really hope this isn't going to be a 6 month fix. Having to log into GATEWAY to see who has been on-line for 400 + toons is going to drive me crazy.

    I'm starting to get tired of the glitches. If this game wasn't Star Trek..... Managing a fleet is one of the reasons I'm still playing the game.

    Not to mention that the gate-way information isn't always reliable and accurate...

    The inability to see the last log-in is definitely problematic for fleet management. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated :)

    I'll chime in here and say that being able to check last log in is a very useful tool for Fleet admin/management.

    I imagine you folks are swamped right now squishing bugs however; your attention to this (Cryptic Worker Bees), would be very much appreciated.

    Not sure if this is intended or not, but either way it needs to be reverted. Since season 8 launched the fleet roster now only shows 10 characters per page. That would be ok if it wasn't for the complete removal of the status window. We can now no longer see when the character last logged in to the game (one of my fleet leaders couldn't see it either so it's nothing to do with rank), which makes promotions and kicks based on activity, and clearing out inactives almost impossible without use of 3rd party programs. This change needs to be reverted.

    This change makes it a lot harder to manage a fleet and needs to be reverted ASAP

    Devs we need better ways to manage the fleet in game unless you can open up gateway to web service based remote access so that we can utilize fleet management functions from external sites. As we run a large fleet it would be great to be able to link information from in game back out to workflows on our own website.

    As for in game management please don't wreck the fleet management system the way it was pre-season 8. We truly need more capabilities in game and not less.

    As a fleet leader of a modest fleet myself, I sponsor this thread. The roster needs reverting ASAP.
    Said NO to Arc. Gets punished by not being given a free outfit, free lobi, and free shuttle. Now forced to use Arc's site when trying to get to STO site. Still not rewards for beta testing the Arc website by force. Bravo Cryptic.

    lol :D Yeah, yesterday I spent good couple of minutes trying to figure out what's wrong or wheather the graphic glitches are back when I couldn't find my name in the fleet roster while it said 13 people online. :D

    I seriously don't understand the devs' need to mess around with stuff like this when there are many more issues currently troubling STO.

    Yes please revert and improve fleet management capabilities, at least for leaders. Besides a search function, a total (or full listing of all alts) by @handle for contributions / activity is another example of what I would find helpful.

    Totally agree. we need more fleet management tools not less.
    like:
    contribution logs
    provisions usage logs
    fleet member information page with join/promotion dates
    If you want to remove something, remove totaly irrelevant information about BOFF training and commendations from news log

    No usage logs please. Whatever you use you have to pay for with fleet credits so you contributed accordingly and your purchase is fine. Showing usage logs will just lead to people pondering on who bought what and lead to great fights within fleets. I'm taking care of the bank of my fleet and I can tell you that I have absolutely no interest in such information whatsoever. People can buy what they need. Just keep your provisions up that's all you need to do.

    p.s. The same goes for contribution logs. All I need to know is the total overall. I really don't care about any further details.

    I also notice these changes and they are not welcome Devs. I also am curious why they decided to handle the friends list and fleet list differently. I mean I wish all fleet members were listed by their handles in the fleet instead of each individual toon. Would clean things up alot. If someone else had toons not in the fleet that is fine, just only have them show up online in the fleet when they are on one of their fleet toons. But If I have 4 toons in the fleet, well make them all appear with just my handle for heaven's sake!

    What were they thinking? This is an unnecessary change and actually makes things more difficult. I guess they wanted us to grind just to see our lists? PWE effect once again.... grindfest.

    @handle sorting and a search option would be great too, although i'll be happy if they just revert the roster to what it was last week.

    Agreed;

    We need to at least be able to tell when people were last online; as well as stretch how many we can see on a single player.

    Cryptic; can you please explain why you did this; also; did anyone see any patch notes for these changes ?

    What are y'all talking about? I still have "Status" in the drop-down menu on my fleet roster.
