Maybe they didn't have the man power or time to check every single map in the game? That is a lot of maps you know.
We knew it was going to be ugly in a lot of places. Testing wasn't an issue. It was decided that the benefit of adding it (and it looking good in many places) outweighed the negatives of it looking ugly in random spots.
Each frame will be double it's original dimensions. So instead of each frame being 512x256, it will be 1024x512. This should be a significant improvement in the look of the LCARS.

The ones i have seen look fine, but they dont look right. TNG was a very bright show, but ESD (as an example) isnt a very bright place. Therefore the new textures look kinda out of place.....
Sensor analysis 4077 has been apart of Star Trek for a very long time and even was mused in the seasons DVD menu. In that case it was scan analysis 4077.
I'm too lazy to find a place to post the screenshot but the Consoles in the Rotunda of SFA behind Viala have messed up Geo AND are using the old blue LCARS which is stretched cause of the broken Geo.
Just an update, I was able to check in a bunch of fixes for some of this stuff today. Hopefully it'll be in next week's patch.
- Got Thomas' newest version of the texture in the game (Less movement/switching)
- Updated a lot of the other materials that all used the same template to point to the new texture set. (This should make the new texture show up in more places)
- Went through all of the old LCARS panels I could find that are using the new texture now, and fixed up UVs to reduce crazy stretching. Most of these old consoles are shapes that don't match up to the texture (old or new) so there will e some stuff cut off, but I think it's still less offensive than the stretching/backwards stuff we saw before.
Note that there will still be blue LCARS in a lot of places (Old Bridges, etc.) Because these are other textures using different shapes and templates, they'll require their own revision to fix. I'm hoping we can do some of that, but it will have to come further down the line.
For now, when I ran through ESD, pretty much every panel has the new texture, with the main exception being the Auction panels which will still be blue.

Engineering Lab on the Engineering deck, 1 console in the corner Looks kinda warped and on the far right side there is a lot of black as though the graphics are missing for that area.
When facing that console in the engineering lab, turn around 180 degrees. The bottom of the panel on the wall seems to have the bottom part cut off a little

Edit: Main engineering. As you enter the room, it's directly to your left. Are the graphics updated for this thingy? It looks about the same. Then again, I don't visit main engineering often.
Federation shuttle interior. The large U shaped console at the back that gives access to the account bank, as well as the small panels on the outside and inside of the transporter thingy, have the new LCARS but the rest of the consoles are the old blue ones.
Wow zerobang. Some of those examples look truly HORRIBLE. Like the Engineering area of ESD, you got 2 identical looking consoles, yet the textures weren't updated on both. And those ridiculous looking pillars around ESD with 6 screens. First 2-3 screens I could possibly agree on, but who would be tall enough to access the upper 4-6 screens?

It only happens on in the Beta Ursa sector, mostly on DS9 .
Are there injokes on that text we can't read, or is just gibberish?
