    I know, why would you guys tease a "Super-Tank" ability, then lock it out to only the rich "no-lifers" who have 10,000 LOBI and hundreds of millions of ECs?

    Seems pretty insulting to the poor players, honestly. I would have had no issue with a C-Store variant with the console.

    At least for players with tons of alts, they only have to run the mission twice per alt for the Beam Array and Warp Core. Looks like a cool ship.

    I take it this ship is iconian in origin?


    A bit disappointed about the other one being 800 lobi, but meh at least I still get a free version.

    *Sigh*

    So essentially, the FLEET VERSION costs 800 Lobi, as opposed to X Fleet Credits and 1-4 Fleet Ship Modules... that's so stupid. Ugh...

    And the Fleet (Advanced) version is the only way to complete the set... also stupid... what the hell were you thinking, Cryptic!?

    Apart from the Lobi Stuff... it's nice... but 800 Crystals?

    That's at best 16 Boxes at ca. 15Euro and at worst 200 Boxes at ca. 200Euro...

    So a price somewhere inbetween of 15Euro and 200Euro!
    That's a little bit too much for a single Ship.

    Edit:
    And that you can only complete the set when you pay absurd amounts of real-life money is another stone in the pathway that Mandatory ARC set up.

    I want the ship from the mission that had a commander science and a commander engineer bridge officer layout. how do I get that?

    Already flown the ship in the mission. Flies like a stuffed pig, as expected.
    Me passing on the overpriced advanced version, is quite possibly the easiest decision you have given me! :D

    Wont miss the console either, but hiding it behind a pay wall, is kind of a dumb move tbh.....

    1) Offer account wide lobi
    2) Release new shinys at an expensive lobi price
    3) Players drain out their combined lobi stash to pay for it, leaving them dry and needing more in the future
    4) PROFIT

    I doubt it; the architecture seems too far off. Unless the devs decided not to use the design aesthetics of the Iconian gateways AND the mysterious "I.I.S." Obex. Which would be a shame, as "dark and skeletal" fit the Iconians more than "big, round, and shiny" (which sounds Preserver-like, but I guess not?)

    So, now fleet versions are going to be on loby store? Good move cryptic, good move..

    So, the free set, can only be obtained if you have 800 lobis.

    I have to agree, making people open hundreds of lockboxes to get 800 lobi just to complete a set is NOT COOL. Now the ship itself is cool, but making it expensive in terms of real money just to get a full set bonus does not win you friends cryptic.

    I knew it...a better 2 hangar carrier than the mirror voquv as I called it

    ...guess the kdf lost yet another unique ship type to the feds...


    ..even so, it'll be a nice ship to fly on my tac cat who has yet to get a ship (I only recently paid up for elite bops so I refuse to switch)

    That Omni-Directional Antiproton Beam Array looks like it will be replacing a lot of turrets. Would be interesting to see if the Obelisk Subspace Rift Warp Core has an interesting sector space visual effect.

I did want to add a side-note that's not listed in the blog: Our upcoming FE replay event is introducing a new way to earn Lobi, and if my calculations are correct, you should be able to earn over 500 Lobi Crystals from the event if you play daily. More details on that will be posted tomorrow.

    That won't get you to 800, but it will help :)

    Great ship and set Cryptic. However, please consider moving the Fleet Version of this carrier to the Fleet Spire Holding. I'd rather pay 4 fleet modules for the ship than gamble with lobi to obtain the ship.

    Well, it will certainly help me in completing the Temporal Warfare set for my Krenn. :eek:

    However, what's going on with this patch? It shows 332 MB to patch but has already downloaded about 400 MB and progress is still 40%ish. What the hell??
