Anybody is welcome to our fleets but if you want to go to our main fleet or romualn fed fleet you must go through our academy to get fleet credits and once you get enough youll be moved to the main fleet. Our klingon fleet.

we do anything from pvp to stfs to defera to fleet events. a big thing that lot of people complain about thier fleet is that there is n one to talk to but we have 700+ members in our fleets and at least 30 people on.

but if youre not interested in joining we do have a complete starbase, embassy and dil mine on the fed side so you can everything fleet related items there. our klingon side has complete dil mine and embassy and t5 science.

if yore interested in joining our fed academy just ask someone will be happy to invite for our romulan fed side and klingon side you can contact me ingame @starfleetownsall. if youre interested in buying fleet equipment or knowing more about it contact @lightspeeds, @stingray74, @frankstuart, or @cronos722.

I would like to join, but I'm just so iffy about it - I'm part of a fleet, but the fleet's growing so slowly and it seems so scattered that it feels like I'm just wasting my time there and I'm afraid if I do bail, I'm making a mistake. Would joining TFS/TFS Academy be worth it? I'm looking at the other posts here and it seems like, yes, it is...

I am also iffy, mostly because I heard something on ESD zone the other day. Can you confirm as to whether or not you charge your own fleetmates to purchase from the sb/emb/mines? The man from your fleet in zone got quite upset when it was brought up, but didn't deny it either. Just looking for clarification.

Let start of by saying WE DO NOT CHARGE OUR PLAYERS for using the fleet store. We have a probation period to keep out free loaders and undesirable. Once you pass the probation period the fleet store is open to you always. Any other question contact @lightspeeds in game

This has been the best fleet I've ever been in. The leaders are always fair to everyone. Everyone has to go through the same probation (no special treatments). No drama. 4 very active fleets that always have projects going. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Been in the fleet about 6 weeks now, great bunch of people, more or less everything in the game unlocked but yet still down to earth group. Always somebody to talk to at any hour of the day which is great having left a dead fleet with 2-3 active members to join here. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an active fleet, even if fleet tech is not your goal right now, its worth to join just to be in the group

I've played STO since Beta, have taken time off now & again. A few months ago, I came back to the game, and found myself looking for a fleet. I joined TFS.

When thinking about all of the other online communities I have been a part of, TFS is amongst the best of them.

We have many members. We have a Teamspeak. Most do not show up on Teamspeak to talk. But, for those of us that do, it makes the game all that more worthwhile to play.

If you are looking for a fair, PvE or competetive fleet, check out Task Force Spectre and it's subsidary fleets. You can't go wrong.

Although I may disagree with the lax recruitment policies of the fleet, overall it is pretty solid.

Task Force Spectre has started it 4th fleet. It is Task Force Spectre Academy it a fleet for all our new recruits. Open to all level. Making it easier to contribute to get fleet credits. Once you pass the probation period you will be ask to join the main fleet. Main fleet Task Force Spectre is Tier 5 Mil,Sci,Eng. Tier 3 embassy. Tier 3 dil mines 100% completed. Legion of spectre our romulan fleet is tier 5 starbase and military, working on tier 5 eng, sci. Our kdf fleet House of spectre is tier 5 starbase and sci, working on tier 5 miltary and eng. Embassy and dil mines are 100% completed. Any question contact @lightspeeds or @stingray74 or @cronos722 looking forward to meet you.

Why would a new fleet make it easier to get fleet credits? Lower level fleets require fewer marks per project, severely limiting the amount of credits they can accumulate in a day.

It is because in the main fleet TFS projects aren't open for longer than 30 seconds. Where in our fleet we have a contribution requirement before provisioned stores are opened, people find it difficult to amass enough fleet credits to meet that requirement, especially if they are in conflicting time zones or have different daily schedules. A 4th fleet was opened to help such individuals meet the requirements faster and with less frustration of lack of open projects. So far the new fleet has been quite successful in this regard and has allowed players who were stalled/slowly progressing to progress much faster due to a lower amount of players, and projects open solely for the purpose to make fleet credits. You are correct in your statement regarding fewer marks, however there is 10 main projects being run constantly, specials frequently, and upgrades when possible. Combine a large amount of fleet projects with a smaller population and fleet credits per person are quite easy to amass.

"Contribution requirement" sounds like you're charging new members for fleet shop access.

So in your book the players who level our star base from level 1 to level 5 is that charging them also?.

we have added 40 new members in 2 weeks all understand our rules. There are many fleets with different rules and probation periods. we are not for everyone we understand that. but we have 800 plus active happy members so we doing something right.

How our system works for promotions is based on overall contribution per character. For instance when a new player joins our fleet they have to contribute x amount and be in the fleet for x amount of days. This is to help prevent people who just want to use our provisions and then leave.

My question was never addressed, though. I have no problem with a probation period, nor do I have issue with a minimum contribution quota. I would like to know if this fleet charges people for SB access....I think it's in poor taste now that so many fleets are offering for free. I don't think ignoring the question that I - and, I see, someone else a few pages ago - have asked is a good way to promote a fleet, especially to prospective newcomers.

We do not allow players in our fleet for free to get what they want.

AFAIK the only thing we bother to sell anymore is t5 ships and that is because they work differently than other stores. I don't think we even advertise that we sell them either but if someone asks we would. Obviously we don't really sell invites for other stuff anymore due to the fact that fleets are giving them away for free i.e. reddit and nop, however again AFAIK we don't give it away, but we also don't try and sell it.

So then the answer is yes. How do you justify charging people when fleets like Reddit Alert, House of Snoo, Shutup Wesley, Nerds of Prey, Liberty Taskforce, and even House of Beautiful offer the same services for free?

I'm sorry, but this seems pretty shady, especially for a fleet with "Federation" tags. If income is gained from tricking players into believing that SB access is something worth paying for (maybe true in the past, but it has undoubtedly changed over the past few months), then it seems more like a quick cash scheme than anything else. None of the other fleets offering free services have put in any less work than you have, so I don't know what point you're trying to make. I guess I was hoping that fans of Trek would make attempts to incorporate the ideals of Trek into the game by helping other players, not picking their pockets.

If you don't like what our fleet does move on. It was nice Knowing you. Like we said we cant make everyone happy and we don't try to make everyone happy. So you could not troll Dura in zone chat. so you troll our fleet in the forum do you have a life? Plus you guys are part of goon squad you charge your members monthly fees to be in your fleets. just search goon squad

I am not Dental and never was Dental, however I watched one of your guys arguing with a Dental in ESD zone, and as much as I dislike SFD, they have a point. Where does the money go? I hope it somehow trickles down to the other 700 or so members or does it go directly into your bank?

How interesting I never said which fleet how you knew? I will tell you how you knew you are all Part of Goon Squad . T.F.S only answer to it members you not part of it. You are Just a wanna be troll. You and your trolls try to troll Dura twice in zone chat and failed. You and your so call trolls are a Sad. From Dura Did you Ask permission from your fleet leader you know the one you must address as My Dear Leader before you can talk to him. I know you will continue to keep posting NONSENSE on our forum post. But when does it stop we have over 800 members if we start writing on your Fleet forum post where does it get us the answer is nowhere. I know you will continue knock yourself out. It Just prove my point of most of you guys in the Goon squad are PATHETIC"
