It's quite obvious during the beginning of Devil's Choice that the Elachi S'golth Escort, with a console that activates the crescent wave attack that murders your shield facing, will be a playable ship. We'll probably get crescent wave space and ground weapons as well (disruptors...again...). We might also get the Monbosh Battleship as a Lobi store prize.
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.

Maybe they should stop making forign ships available to us. Maybe it should be fed ships for Feds, Klingons for Klingons ronulan for ronulans, if I'm to captain a galor I'd rather it be for the cardassians lol who am I kidding pwe won't allow that( money grabbers)

Lock Boxes may be a good avenue for having an Opposite Faction Ship, like a fed getting a B'rel Raider. Tho, can't think of any ship Fed side that is exremely differant enough to what the KDF already got
Yes - the Wells class isn't really a Foreign ship as such*, and players went mad over that one.
* However you view it, it's a Starfleet design - just happens to be a future Starfleet design.
I dont think we shoulda have that ship either, with that ship technically we could go back and stop the klingon war, or i could go back and stop myself getting killed in kerrat lol:rolleyes:
Ehh wrong answer( you are the weakest link goodbye)
So you start your thread with arrogance and insults - why is that not a surprise.
Just because Borg may not fit YOUR idea of the game, does not make it wrong and it does not entitle you to insult others if it fits their idea of the game.
But, from what I have seen in other threads from you, let me put it in a way you may understand.....
Leave your basement and tell mommy the mean children are picking on you again.
(perhaps, when you learn to be nice and show some respect for others, you may receive some back - well, at least you will from me any way)

Playable Borg ships is stupid and would ruin the game fact!!!!
Other than that I don't care about you opinion, maybe I'm arrogant maybe I'm a **** but that's up to me.

Yeah, me neither......except maybe for just about any science ship.
You boys and girls are quite funny, lets see, we have;
Borg Captains,
Borg Engineer Bridge Officers,
Borg Science Bridge Officers,
Borg Engines, Shields and Deflectors all over peoples ships
Captains running around with severed Borg limbs shooting people / hitting them with it !!
So putting all of the above on to a ship of its very own, you will leave !?
Sorry folks, but ever heard of the expression "locking the barn door - AFTER the horse has bolted"
I mean, come on, Cryptic did a poll of what people wanted in game, Borg came 3rd. Romulans were 1st, we now have them, Cardies came in 2nd (I did not see that one coming to be honest) and then Borg.
We have playable Rommies
We have lockbox Galors and Jem H'adar ships (not quite a faction, but the ships are there)
So, what is next..... what did the Star Trek Online community vote for !?!?
Oh yes, BORG !!!
You're shocked at the idea of Borg ships for players - yet it has been asked for, and fits with all the Borg stuff in game all ready

You dont understand, yea we have borg tech, that was enevitable. Borg adapted engines shields and so on do not make for a borg ship neither is it ship as powerful as a cube.
We have liberated borg officers not full on borg.
Players being in cubes would basically kill the game, the borg are one of the big bads in trek.
you captain a cube you should have no problem killing anything interesting in game
As discussed elsewhere, an Elachi lockbox would seem to be a strong contender, keeping in mind that their ships are new, we haven't seen much of them beyond the RR feature episodes and we've already had one semi-playable version via one of the RR missions/episodes.
Odds are very good for Elachi...we already know there is a Elachi set so unless they wait to use it till later I would say its up next.
I'm almost certain it will be the Elachi, but I think there is a small chance it could be the enemy group from season 8 (whoever they may be). It would be highly unusual to have access to their ships before seeing them in game but without knowing who they are, or the story behind them I'm not going to rule that out.
Who I would like is the Xindi ships but from what I gather they are still a way off, and I dont think have anything to do with the next years worth of storytelling.
Well, if I remember correctly we could get Tholian ships before the Tholians even had them ingame. It was quite odd.

but only player one be lucky to do half of what the npc dose :P
No dont quote me, but im sure i read somewhere that they want to bring in an enemy from the delta quaderant. Maybe this next lockbox might be the opertunity they need.

I would say, an assimilated lockbox!
I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
Ehh wrong answer( you are the weakest link goodbye)
Hahahaha, well what about an undine lockbox then?? You know.. the assimilated undine that is :P .
I call it, the Stoutes paradox.
Would people still open lock boxes if it wasnt a forign ship as kirk put it?

And who's picking on me ?
adding borg ships wont ruin the game either but they probably would be the most controversial.
either way it will probably be the elachi.
I agree the minute I see a playa;e borg ship would be the day I say goodbye to STO

Same here ... as for "Assimilated Lockbox" ... it's called Tal Shiar Lockbox ...

That could just be Elachi set such as you buy from the dilithium store for the andorian weapons.
but only player one be lucky to do half of what the npc dose :P

Agreed.
To be honest i think making alot of the ships we already have available has been a bad choice.
Ok i understand players want to fly everything and anything. But id be happy with each faction only using there own ships.
