I, Personally Hope It Is And Will Be Iconain, but HIGHLY Un-Likely... What Do YOU Think?

EDIT: I think It might be Breen now Because We Have Only One 3-Piece Set Left That is NOT Available for XII, only XI

    Thats about as likely, as Cryptic admitting that the Grab-bags are a lottery designed to scam people out of their money.

    It's likely a Elachi ship.

    I really hope they don't make Elachi ships available to players. That would ruin the faction for me.

    I sincerely hope it's not an Elachi lockbox.

    Honestly, it could be anything. It might be kinda neat if it was Hirogen.

    One of those random Alien Battleships would be nice. The ones the Hirogen also use for their lack of an own unique BS class. I like ships that does not look like bad hair day.

    Elachi why?..... there was a thread where someone had a screenie of the Elachi pulse wave ship weapon, it apparently was part of a set and, only usable on Elachi ships ( Mon bosh anyone! ).

    I keep hearing Voyager related faction as a likelihood, so....Kazon?

    These must be awesome ships. After all, they were able to fire their energy beam weapons while traveling at warp <rolls eyes>.

    I'm still thinking that Cryptic will be adding a Borg (Tal Shiar) version of the Scimitar that will be open to all factions that has a moded Warpcore and a standard Cloaking Device but will have and improved Thalaron Blast that would be tied into some other special console.

    And to really make the vessel sell the new special console could be sloted on the Romulan only versions of the Scimitar to add to it the improved Thalaron Blast ;)

    Cryptic are still more likely to admit that the grab-bags are a lottery-money scam designed to cheat people from the... well... better not finish that part.

    NOOOOO please NOT the Kazon, they were the worse most boring faction in voyager and just as well they moved on from them other wise Voyager would of died after season 2!!

    what about the Krenim?
    bring back the time ship, i know Voyager crashed into it and re wrote time but that doesn't mean that it cant be brought back!

    Something completely new and unexpected would be nice, not something in the game already

    About as unlikely as the next lockbox will be the TOS Lockbox and have a T5 Connie, with the possibility of receiving a Corbomite Device... more likely the JJ Enterprise that will be the size of the Odyssey cruiser. Hmm.... XD

    If we had the Suliban, I do not think there is an awful lot of ship choice.


    I think an interesting idea could be the ...Voth.

    Cryptic wouldn't introduce a whole NPC faction with their own ships and assets if they wouldn't plan on monetizing it in some way.

    So yeah, Elachi Lock Box with yet another Escort ship as a grand prize and yet another Battleship available in the Lobi Store. I wouldn't be surprised to see Elachi Shuttle, as well as some new ground weapons/items/devices the Elachi use.

    They'll do the same thing once season 8 goes live - they'll introduce a new enemy (Voth most probably) and moment later they'll throw most of their stuff to yet another lock box for players to empty their wallets on. It's just how it is.


    Hey, Cryptic, how about some new STF for a change? I mean, something more than "press space to win/not to die" that rewards mere 20 marks on average per run... I know it doesn't make you money in a direct way, but at least we would have some actual new playground for all the new ships and toys.

    I mean, seriously, I got myself the Tal Shiar ships only to do a couple of missions I've done hundreds of times already, and go back to the doffing... Story missions and Foundry are cool and all, but they don't offer any challenge whatsoever. The same goes for most team based PvE content, being mostly a race for the first place (so dps all the way) or optionals, rather than anything more demanding.

    Felinoid Lockbox with a Caitian ship, and a Lobi store Ferasan vessel or something. :)

    I think it'll be Elachi, based on the consoles that were leaked some time ago.

    I'd like to see a Past Temporal lockbox (the opposite of the previous Temporal lockbox). Mostly because I'd like to buy a Mk XII upgrade for that Type-3 TOS rifle.

    I'm almost certain it will be the Elachi, but I think there is a small chance it could be the enemy group from season 8 (whoever they may be). It would be highly unusual to have access to their ships before seeing them in game but without knowing who they are, or the story behind them I'm not going to rule that out.

    Who I would like is the Xindi ships but from what I gather they are still a way off, and I dont think have anything to do with the next years worth of storytelling.

    But one gets the [false and stupid] feeling my account is rigged to not get the grand prize, even after spending in total : 25 pounds.

    So it will be "*sigh* wish I could get that" again feeling.
    Hopefully I'll come back from my break; this break is fun; I play intellectual games.

    Meh, that's nothing compared to what other people have spent and ended up with nothing. I've literally opened over a thousand boxes over the past year and didn't get any ship. I think my last one was the D'Kora more than a year ago, and even then I've opened over 200 boxes.

    And I bet the newest box will have even more low tier rewards, so that despite the individual % chance for the grand prize there will be dozens of smaller prizes with higher drop chance, diminishing the probabilities even more. So enjoy your boosts and doff packs...

    Also, aren't FEDs running out of Universal Consoles? What's left there for the KDF to use? A Transwarp Computer and Tachyon Detection Grid?

    Well... there is the grappler...

    But seriously:
    -The Resonance Cascade Modulator console (Steam), a nice thing, and currently Fed only
    -Recycling of older Console Boxes (they did this with ships) so whats the most usefull? Subspace jumper/Point defense? So my guess:any other console box. ;)
    Beta, LTA, CE, Multiple preorder Versions, all Addon Packs except AoY, nearly all KDF/Rom and ~50% of all Fedships, over 25 LockboxShips, Endurer of Atari's "Year of Hell", but...

    My guess is that it will either have to do with season 8 content, or that it will have to do with content and assets that are already in the game and aren't available to players.

    How about a Mudd drop box? You could get either a clapped-out freighter, some sparkly placebos (that you can use in combat and you'll think help but actually don't), some rather dumb clone robots (that will shut down in combat when confronted with emotions). All of which will get confiscated from you by the next passing starship that you'll only just talk out of arresting you.
