I have stopped spending my zen on keys because atm its better for me to spend my zen buying dil so I can donate it to fleet projects and I don't seem to be getting rich claims from boxes anymore so unless the new box starts giving me rich claims again I won't be buying any keys at all with my zen...

What I'd like it to be is a Breen box, something sciency for a ship.

That energy drain style of play would be awesome.

I don't know about the new Lockbox... but if the general theme is upheld the new Doff Pack will have a Talaxian Freighter in it because

THAT is the whole point though! The Borg don't have that sort of hierarchy - there is NO rank system, no Captain, no first officer etc etc; it's a collective mind. The only way that the Borg would work would be if they made them the 'Unimatrix Zero' liberated type.

    The quote therefore stands.

    Are you daft??

You, yourself, all ready invalidated your own argument by saying basically the same as me - Lockbox keys are a source of income (your words) - aka, if it will sell, Cryptic will sell it.

As I've stated, Borg were asked for by the community, Borg were voted for by the community, Borg WILL SELL.

The folks at Cryptic and at PWE, they are not your friends, they are not your best buds, BFF or any other way of putting it. They are EMPLOYEES at a COMPANY that wants to make MONEY.

So, just for you, I will say it again - well, I'll quote myself :P

your point is invalid, so is the quote - this is a game, this is a business, if punters will pay and enjoy it - it will happen :P

As for how playable Borg are brought in to the game, that will be interesting to see - I kinda look forward to it and kinda fear it at the same time

    Okay, no Borg...

I would say, an assimilated lockbox! :D

Honestly I think cross faction assimilated ships would be neat.

Each side gets a chance of their opposing factions ship (Defiant or BoP for example) but a heavily assimilated version with an even lower chance of it being an assimilated Romulan ship.

    Delta Quadrant Lock Box:

When opened emits a cloud of foul gas, iritating anyone nearby and causing general rage in Zone Chat. 70% chance of causing numerous players to either beam out or swap instance.

Chance to win DQ DOFF pack, with a chance to win:
[purple] Malon DOFF with 98% chance to reduce warp core performance.

[Blue]Talaxian DOFF, with 100% chance to ruin any food placed anywhere nearby

[Blue] Talaxian DOFF, with 50% of reducing Captain's overall traits with distracting toady behaviour

[Purple] Krenim DOFF, with 90% chance of causing the player's ship to have never existed.

Chance to win a Kazon BOFF, with 'suicide' trait; 100% chance of killing him/herself, 0% chance of respawn.

Grand Prize: Malon Garbage ship that emits an area-wide waste gas cloud that causes all other players to bail (whether they like it or not) on whatever STF/Fleet action that this occurs in.
Also comes with a warp drive that is unparrelled in it's lack of speed.

And via the Lobi store: Janeway Console; causes ship to get lost in the Delta Quadrant, ignores easy method of return, and instantly causes offense to any ship or planet you pass.

    This wins.

    Heroic post.

The Borg will never be playable odds are, Unimatrix Zero if I recall only existed in drones unconscious when they regenerated, and the Cooperative was in the middle of nowhere and didn't seem interested in leaving nor did they have the tech to leave the planet when Voyager left.

    OT:
Since it's not even a month since the survey where Voyager won (i still don't get it), i strongly doubt they are able to release a full-fledged Delta Quadrant themed Lockbox (including finished Delta Quadrant Ship models) so fast.

I rather think they will release a Terran (mirror universe) lockbox, or something completely mad, like a Starfleet Lockbox ;).

I would love to see a Husnock ship, they are floating around space right? Those could be very neat.

As far as a console goes, I would love to see a perfect cloak for the Federation like the Pegasus had.

The whole reason I don't buy lock boxes is because I don't want non-faction ships for my characters. Simply put I do not and will never want any of the lock box ships. (Unless they align with my faction). So right now PWE is losing my money.

My sentiments exactly. The only lockbox ships I was even remotely interested in were the temporal ones, because they belong to the actual factions I play in game. The other ones I don't want or need.

Isn't that what the Elachi ships were modled after? they do look somewhat similar.

I think they need to start putting in more designs of ships that haven't been seen in-game at all yet. Many of these were used as various ship classes for various races throughout TNG, DS9 and VOY, so I listed them under the name that is most memorable to me:

    Miradorn Raider

    Husnock Warship

    Yridian Ship

    Combat Vessel

    Tamarian Cruiser

    Mercenary Ship

    Maybe even a Maquis Raider

    Lysian Destroyer
(this is actually, I believe already in-game as minor-race ship, but they could make more of those available as playable ships like they talked about a year or two ago: a la Type VII Commercial Laboratory?)

I'd like to see those canon ships in-game first, especially since they have no chance of being a faction some day.
Thanks for the expansion that had "as much content as the last"
    9 Episodes = 30+ episodes...?
