Scheduled Maintenance (July 2, 2013) [Complete!]

Hi Captains,

Due to the US holiday on Thursday, we will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Tuesday, July 2nd, at 7AM PDT (click here to view in your timezone) for our weekly maintenance and to apply a new patch. Patch notes can be found here, and we expect this maintenance to only last for 3 hours. The test server may also be unavailable during this time.

UPDATE (9:33am PDT): We're going to be extending maintenance for 1 extra hour. New ETA is 1.5 hours from now. Thanks for your support and understanding!

UPDATE (10:50am PDT): We're going to need to extend maintenance again. Our new ETA is 1 hour & 15 minutes from now. We'll get you back in-game ASAP!

    When is the Tier 5 romulan rep mission getting fixed for fed aligned rom players... we cant get it finished. This should be a priority of sorts no?

    Im anxiously awaiting the Dev blog about scimitars that was announced to be released today... normally the Dev blogs are published around 9 or 10am but it's already past 2pm. Please give us our Scimitars (or at least the official information)!!

    Ummm.... Where is the promised dev blog about the Scimitar?? Bran? Devs?? Anyone??

    Really dissapointed right now. What a let down :(.

    normally they release stuff at 3pm pacific time, and it's only 2 over there soooo yeah, take a chill pill children.

    I want on branflakes Twitter. He said the blog about the scimitar will be up in a few hours. And that was 2 hours ago. :/

    Tells you something about the work structure eh.

    Working on it a few hours before deadline then the whole team finds out they patching tomorrow and have to cancel everything they had planned for thursday :D

    ... then it's a conference meeting michael-the-office style

    No kidding. Very unprofessional. And the patch notes? Really? THAT minor TRIBBLE = 3 hours downtime? Seriously, what the hell is going ON?

    It's not just the patch that makes it take 3 hrs. It's very likely that it might be server upgrades and/or software updates.

    But yeah, this does seem odd, and how can there possibly be problems with screenshots? I mean, the previous blog had plenty of screenshots, but now they have trouble all of a sudden?? Seems like an excuse to me, but I could be wrong, but screenshots should not be troublesome afaik...

    Horga'hn Hunt
    - Increased the reward rate of the Lohlunat Favors.
    - There is now a GPL tab on the summer vendor NPC to make it easier to find special summer items that are sold for GPL.
    - Lohlunat Favors will now appear in the commodity tab on the exchange
    - Small sunglasses are now available to Ferengi Species players
    Installation 18
    - Rinna will now beam out properly for all players of all factions.
    I love that you're increasing the Lohlunat Favor reward rates, thank you for that (this is especially lovely, since Tues is my day off and I'll be doing lots of grinding tomorrow :D). Putting the GPL tab on the summer vendor and listing Favors as an Exchange Commodity. Nice, nice. Ferengi sunglasses... I don't have any Ferengi, so this didn't affect me, but good for them. Although, to be fair, you should update the blog and the sunglasses descriptions to reflect this.

    Fixing I18 for non-Rom factions. Very nice. Thanks for squashing that bug.

    Nice small update.

    That being said, I am genuinely disappointed the Missing Mail Situation hasn't been fixed or updated in (too many) days. I also would like to see some update/reference to all the costume bugs swarming the tailor and the game in general since LoR launched.

    You guys clearly pulled some heavy duty shifts (and OT) to complete LoR. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, as it is an impressive accomplishment, but there's more work to be done.

    Some more Dev Posts in the above linked threads and/or Blog Entries showing you guys are aware of the multitude of issues going on, and how you are working/planning to address them, is requested.

    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    Hopefully the Scimitar is SOOOOOOOOOO big that they have to bring it down for 3 hours to expand some of the maps.

    Remember Brandon is in the EU just now, so the times will be different from normal. Also he posted two hours ago on his twitter to say there was a delay with the blog but it's coming.
