    Don't forget our usual community manager is sleeping now due to him being over in europe. It might not get fixed until we have to sleep.

    When I used to play Battlefield Vietnam and Battlefield 2, I used to Bold Type *Hit Alt F4 for Cheat menu* to make room on the server for my friends..... Too funny:D

    Sounds like a good start. Cryptic must think that cluster has some other meaning than what it does in the server world.

    It says:

    You have no characters in Star Trek Online! To create a character, go to the http://sto.perfectworld.com/download


    And everyone has access to this unless they don't have an account on this site.

    You click my account, then you click character transfer.

    Because of this, I doubt I shall get to play in the mirror event. This displeases me. I purposely got on to play this.

    The "cluster" they're use to is followed by a select 4-letter word.

    Just to show what folder I will post my directory.

    D:\Games\Cryptic Studios\Star Trek Online\Live\Localdata

    and the only file instead of the usual 12 or so files:

    Gameprefs.Pref

    Well Obviously they must be working on the prob.. I was able to log on after the update then server froze on me later in the afternoon and have not been able to log on since.:mad:

    Oh to hell with it. Might as well log into Second Life and deal with viewer support issues. At least that is something I can do something about.

    I find it funny in anyother major mmo they post in the fourms that the servers down and post a eta or that there atleast working on the issue

    Could not have happened at a worse time. I was on a mission. And it was being glitchy during the ground part of it, killed the last of the Romulans, and I was trying to beam up to my ship... Nothing happened. I mean the transporter happened and then nobody of my characters. Tried moving and I was moving but I was still physical. Tried aborting the mission, no go. And all of a sudden I'm disconnected.

    Please tell me I get back to my game to finish this mission with NOT losing everything.

    Ok.

    Everyone do this.

    In the game launcher click options then click force verify then click ok.

    That should begin checking the files.

    And as far as I can see the game directory is missing a bunch of them.

    And I mean the actual game data files.

    That's because they know what they are doing. Cryptic and PWE... Not so much.

    To be fair, they usually do here as well. They just haven't this time for some reason.

    For what it's worth, I looked back over my snapshots. I've only ever had one file there since I joined on May 10th. My guess is they changed how this works sometime between when you last checked and May 10th.

    Branflakes is touring the European PWE Stations from what i hear?! its almost 5 am there. Server crashed and no one at PWE is aware of it yet that we know of so there is no time frame and TO add id freely give my cell phone out so if this happened peeps could call and say hey servers out and fix it. :)

    Well, fortunately for anyone that actually works in IT, we know by what you just posted you have no idea what your talking about.

    That others listened and went "Ohh YEaa" proves the Lemming Theory beyond a doubt.
