I just had to uninstall the entire game so i could get 20GB back, all those patches took up a lot of space. Now i suppose i will have to wait a few days for the thing to download again :mad::(

It took me a lot of trying and trying. ^^ But I got in... There seems to be at least 40 people on most channels too. I suggest continuing to retry over and over, until you either get in or die.
UMM... fyi 1kbps is not acceptable, also if you could make it so the patch server will send more then ONE meg before it breaks and freezes. I know you people will never do anything to assist your customers, but this is just shameful on yourselves as people. makes me sick to think this is what the next generation will see as "professional work" and associate it as star trek.
Anyone know what these people are doing? why can't they fix known issuses before trying something else, like redalerts, giving lifers thier monthly zen, lifers free duly officer slots. giving us a game we can log into and play when we want to.

And the same thing is happening to me, it keeps says "trying to update launcher 3 times".
Then it says "launcher update failed check your internet connection", I no its not my internet cuz its working and hella fast.

I don't see why they don't just take one of the patches back off until people are done with the other. I believe they should take down the Nerverwinter servers, does anyone actually play that game?

It hung up what looked to be some Romulan texture file first. I exited, re-loaded the launcher, and it started updating again slowly but surely.
Now it's on shaderCache.hogg, which was downloading when I left it 15-20 minutes ago. At that point, it was around 30% loaded.
I came back and saw 1.2%.
It got up to 32%.
Now it seems it's down to 11.1%.

What is going on?
