This has gotten beyond a joke 7 chars in "limbo" with the 94% server not responding issue sinf the L O R launch...... my romulan? stuck in this beyond stupid loading queue

Since the queue is only adding people, and moving none into the game, it appears they have locked entry. I wouldn't be surprised if it comes down for maintenance shortly.
To be fair, when I was actually briefly in the game, there was a huge amount of UI and menu interaction lag. No rubberbanding, but other obvious server load problems. Players over in Neverwinter and Champions were reporting issues too.
I'm not sure what Perfect World and Cryptic were thinking, really. They have three MMOs running off the same datacenter with some shared infrastructure. One of those just launched open beta, Neverwinter...and now STO's put out this expansion. The servers were already going crazy with the Neverwinter load, and now Legacy of Romulus on top of that?
Its the weekend, PWE do not work Weekends/Bank Holidays if they can avoid it, aside fromt he odd forum mod that is. If there is a problem, monday would be the earliest i'd expect them to look at it.
I wonder how long the queue will be by Monday - that'll be a shock when PWE waltz into work and see the thousands of people still patiently waiting for the game to finally let them in.:D
It's a LOT like the launch day Queue. You get your spot in line and then the line itself just keeps growing behind you. When I logged in I was 4187/5000 now I'm 4187/11487.
And now the shard is being brought down for emergency maintenance.

The subscription is why you are 1873 instead of starting at 8986. You got bumped ahead of f2p and are waiting with other subscribers.

They really should have seen this coming.
I think a server has fallen over. That would explain how nobody is getting in.

Hatin the server issues, sadly, it appears they will be with us for the entire weekend.
