Whew.. really trying to get these test logs out to you folks as soon as I can here..
-=Pre-Episode=-
-It's a bit simplistic, but the map for New Romulus Command does look better than the mish-mash it previously had.
-New Romulus Command still has Federation vendors. (I'm sure this is getting old, but I'm including it because I still notice/check it.)
-New Romulus Command crafting stations are still.. strange. (Perhaps these should be made non-interactive?)
-"Are there more plants in the hallways?..."
-=The Price of Neutrality(KDF)=-
-Away Team Selection displayed ground and space abilities for Boffs.
-Who is this D'Neri Orion character I am speaking to when I land on the planet? Never met them before and they are not a part of my crew.
-The Science optional objective displayed a Federation image instead of a KDF one like the Tactical and Engineering objectives.
-I actually didn't get crushed by the weapon's storage door while standing under it... I was expecting "bad things" to happen.
-The Hirogen beam down to the planet with Federation Blue transporters.
-"These Hirogen sure do love to spam these mines..."
-The IKS Hrothstar warped out with Federation Blue warp-trails.
-The IRW Aethra had the same blindingly white wings as the Valdore in the Flotilla. Is it perhaps related to the wing paint pattern?
-The IRW Aethra warped out in the middle of the conversation with Charva.. - before I finished talking with her (and the conversation still continued)
-=Memory Lane(KDF)=-
-Away Team displays space&land boff powers.. yadda yadda..
-The Mission objectives window seems a bit small for all those listed objectives..
-I still think Virinat has potential for a greater emotional impact if the music were something.. a bit slower.. instead of 'generic mission action tune'
-Tovan's voiceover for the painting played when you trigger the 'flowers' event.
-The Romulan ships warped out with Federation warp-trails instead of Romulan green.
-Charva's ship, the IRW Aethra is a regular Mogai, not the Valdore variant.
-=Bigger Picture(KDF)=-
-Cutscenes are a little crude, but very interesting plot points for the story in this mission...(Cardassians working with Sela, yet Elachi taking Cardassians, etc.)
-After scuttling the Derelict Ship, Subcommander Nadel popped up with a dialogue about needing to leave Tau Dewa Sector and report to Pi Canis(where I currently was) - the mission start text. After closing the dialogue, Tovan popped up and the mission resumed as normal.
-Entering the field in the Donatu II system caused a decloak.. yet didn't prevent the ship from re-cloaking.
-The mission seemed to elude to additional cardassian ships jumping in after the Keldon, but there were none. Escorting the Romulan ship out.. was surprisingly peaceful and uneventful.
-=Smash and Grab(KDF)=-
-"These transport ships sure are effective at disabling most of my subsystems with their little pea-shooters..."
-A random KDF alien was shown during dialogue for beaming between ships.
-I was beamed to the second ship without my bridge officers.. "Remind me to space that KDF Alien when I get back to my ship..."
-Bridge officers were present for the cutscene, but mysterously vanished afterwards.. "Remind me to space that KDF Alien's extended family when I get back to my ship..."
-"Well, this mission certainly has some added challenge now.."
-"Can it, Tovan. You're not actually here to speak to me - you're off in transporter limbo somewhere at the mercy of that KDF Alien."
-At least my Boffs made it to the third transport. I've had the misfortune of finding out how unpleasent the boss is without boff backup on previous runs of this mission.
-"It's a Trap!? You better not lose my bridge officers this time KDF Alien!"
-The IRW Aethra warped out with Federation warp trails.
-=Tradecraft (KDF)=-
-Warping out the Drozana system displayed Klingon Warp Trails on my Dhelen instead of Romulan ones.
-Consequently(?), I did a warp-in animation for sector space...(the kind that is generally played when you enter a system FROM sector space)
-I like the console screen changes onboard the satellite. (also the details for the consoles being plugged into each other)
-I quite like the allied fleet composition more now. The Ha'apax helps introduce it as a more predominant ship for the Romulan Rebulic and the allied KDF ships were more noticeable/not tucked away in the back.
-The sounds of all the plasma torpedos kind of drowned out all the rest of the audio. A lot of the beam, cannon and explosion sound effects cut out during the fight.
-My ship left the Azha system with KDF warp trails. "IT'S A FAKE!"
-Looking through the episode list, I see "Bigger Picture" is not replayable(the button is grayed out).
While picking up my initial doff compliment, I still got the KDF red trails warping out of New Romulus. And I am a KDF Rom.
Also, my boffs are still displaying both ground and space powers in the away team window.
And in the mission The price of neutrality, when I beam down, I get contacted by Mudna, an Orion, who I guess is on my crew, but is not one of my Boffs. Not sure if this is working as intended. Also, in the mission, the KDF ship warps off before all of the enemy ships arrive and are destroyed, had to kill the battleship and its escort by myself. Finally, the IRW Aethra has white wings like the same ship type at the Flotilla.
Memory lane, when Tovan is talking about the flowers in the pop up, he repeats the voice over for the painting you find elsewhere.
After Memory lane I chose teh RRF Science BOFF, and she had no arms. Hands, yes, but no arms. The Link.
1) First mission of Allies story arc, the green mission text still says Ajilon.
2) On the Beam down window, it's displaying powers available to BOffs that have not yet been unlocked. IE - At Citizen rank, they display 2 abilities, when they only have 1 unlocked, and 4 at Lt. rank.
3) In the HUD set up, the Ship's Throttle keeps getting moved around. This did not start til I moved to the Dhelan class cruiser.
4) On the "Memory Lane" mission, when we pass by the flowers near the cafe, the Voice Over for Tovan mentions the painting again, not the flowers that Rinna used to love.
5) My Dhelan cruiser started using the Federation warp trail and warp flash after I chose the Feds as my ally.
Played through these missions on May 8th (before the latest patch), with a female
Alien Romulan allied with the Federation.
What happened to the mission "Stepping In"?
The Price of Neutrality
When I beamed down to the colony I was hailed by a Starfleet Bolian science officer called Lysia - who is this? I have no such officer. Captain Harvson, while hailing me after the battle, says "I might just take some the credit for myself!"
Memory Lane
No noticeable bugs in this mission.
Bigger Picture
Tovan says "-the spike in tetyrons-". After destroying the disabled ship, Subcommander Nadel suddenly appeared and asked me to go to the Mempa system (again). She also appeared when I entered Eta Eridani - telling me to go to Eta Eridani.
Smash and Grab
In the mission journal, the description says "Chava" instead of "Charva". When transporting from the first freighter, I was hailed by a Starfleet officer called Nicholas - I have no idea who this is. In the second freighter I was beamed in alone, without my officers. They appear in the cutscene, but afterwards they were gone again. Luckily they rejoined me in the last freighter. When Charva's ship warped in, it's wings were glowing white. When I got closer they returned to the normal colour.
Tradecraft
I still think there should be a pop-up tip or audio tip telling players how to access their ready room, as new players won't know how to do this. Typo: When Commander Tal'Mera provides context for the Virinat file, she says "retailiate" instead of "retaliate". Otherwise no noticeable bugs.

Unable to complete "the Price of Neutrality" romulan mission at this time.
The set rally point you use to position your bridge officer in front of the camera does not work since the last patch, will have to test on other missions to see if rally points are working or it's just this mission.
even manually selecting the set rally point via key press won't give the red placement circle.
Liked the addition to Bigger Picture, and still like all of them overall, here are a few things I noticed:
The Price of Neutrality:
-Figured this might have been a change until I saw other posts, a random alien appeared on my bridge, instead of my normal Federation that was the only other one on the bridge.
Smash and Grab:
-Same issue with Price of Neutrality except was a random human engineer while on the first freighter. It was corrected for the future dialogue.
-When the officers are ready to storm in the next section cutscene occurs, the officers disappear on the map (found this out the hard way).
when allied with kdf the color palettes for wrist attach left, and wrist attach right are not the same. I would have thought they would both be the expanded palette especially with the romulan-klingon arm bracers as you can get some very fun combos on the expanded palette
During "Memory Lane" after the first mob of Klingons, my character became fixed on where one of the Klingons died and would always look at that exact point until the end of the mission. Odd bug. It rendered one of my weapons invisible. Damage was still done, but nothing for graphics.
If its working in the players favour - "This isn't working as intended. We're going to remove this from the game. You're not playing as we intended." If its working in the games favour - "We have too much on our plate to fix this/Working as intended."
Under absolutely no reason should there EVER be alliance ships or gear available from ANY Romulan location. If people want stuff from their alliance then they should have to go the one of their allies bases.
also when you pick your ally you're given a bunch of your allies gear, but don't even have the choice of getting the allies gear or Romulan gear. So much for the Romulans being a fully separate faction.
Cryptic's hardline stance on Romulans being a FULLY complete and Separate faction is really starting to tread water, was bad enough when we found out we're not even given the choice for Rom Fleetbases.
In the price of Neutrality, it seemed like the Hirogen mines were only set off by proximity.. some of the time. I watched my Boffs tread all over them in combat twice and not a one went off. I also got contacts from my ship by a random alien who's shoulders appeared to be in a fed uniform. Did the federation plant more ensigns on my republic ship? I mean i know i allied with them,, but shouldn't I have more of a liason status, since I am a member of the romulan republic which is Not a federation world? It's really not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it still feels off to me when I see it.
The VO in the begining of memorry lane plays to completion whether you've hit continue or not, That may be working as intended, it was jsut something I noticed.
The lighting I do think has been a little better as advertized.. so yay on that! lol I have nothing else really to sy about this area of the game, that I ahven't already, at least so far in as I've gotten back to. I'm leaving off at tyhe bigger picture, hopefully I'll have time later to at least play through that one, if not more.
The only bug I have seen all day was when I tried to go to my bridge and nothing happened. I tried over and over to no effect and then when I tried to transwarp out again nothing happened. I finally started my engines and moved away from the system and it finally worked.
Other than that small thing I love playing LOR (The story, the graphics, the character creator, the LCARS system, it's great (Although I really don't like the uniforms). Thank you for your hard work.
So far I am liking everything about LoR. From the "backstory" of founding New Romulas to how your bridge officers are recruted. The only bugs I have noticed is on occasion when my cannons fire the bolts appear as squares on my screen. Adjusting my camera angle seems to correct this though. All in all a really nice expansion.
I have run into a bug in "The Price of Neutrality" that seems to have me locked onto a point 30-33m from the console in the room with the colonists' little secret, just out the front door. This includes during combat, which results me charging my enemies backwards at times. In addition, the ground weapons on Tovan and my captain will not render, including firing effects, but things still die when fired upon. I currently have a Plasma Long-Range Assault Minigun Mk III equipped, and Tovan has a Plasma Piercing Beam Rifle Mk III.
[Edit] Upon entering the following mission, I found that these bugs were persistent across following Ground segments.
[Edit] Having logged out for the night and logging back in, I found that my captain did indeed sense "something" he insisted on staring at on any ground map I enter. The weapons glitch seems tied to those specific weapons, as I have rotated weapons with the rest of my away team.
I have no idea what triggered the permanent lock-on to nothing, but that bug going live would be rather problematic given that it persists on any ground map I enter. Anyone having an idea what triggers this PLEASE post so the devs can head this one off.
[Edit] I have gotten my captain to stop locking onto invisible objects, having cut my internet connection while playing, then logging back in and repeating the last mission I spent staring at nothing (Smash and Grab). I do not know if this was the severed and reestablished connection to the game or the replay, or pure chance, but I can now actually change the direction my captain is facing.
With each passing day I wonder if I stepped into an alternate reality. The Cubs win the world series. Donald Trump is President. Britain leaves the EU. STO gets a dedicated PvP season. Engineers are "out of control" in STO.
Chavra can't seem to decide what ship she's using, in some scenes her ship is a Mogai, in others a Valdore.
The Valdore has a texturing error on the wings, at a distance or up close, textures are normal, in between the wings are just a plain blank white.
In a price of Neutrality during the cutscene where the Hirogen beam in, some of the Hirogen have no heads.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
I found one small problem in main menu. When you can see your captain, ship and away team. There is not my tactical Jem?Hadar male officer show properly. I can see eyes and boots only. In game is everything OK.
In the cutscene when Tovan and the player transport over to the disabled Cardassian ship. The cloaking sound is made instead of the transporter sound and the player arrives cloaked. The ship was cloaked when I transported
Also the reward doesn't match the one listed in the assignment, it's a console instead of a rifle
Another thing I noticed during Bigger Picture, some of your characters speech "bubbles" are hidden by the upper letterbox bar during the Cardasian ship interior animation.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
Ok, so two episodes I've had problems with cutscenes.
In "Bigger Picture" when my PC and Tovan Khev beam over to the Cardassian ship in the gas anomaly, my PC doesn't materialise after transport properly and stays transparent for the entire cutscene. Also, some of my PC's dialogue/speech-bubble ends up placed too high, and the top part of it is cut off by the edge of the cutscene.
In "Smash and Grab", during the cutscene for the 2nd transport ship we beam onto, there are two Tovan Khevs - one who's talking to my PC as a major character, and another one who is with the other bridge officers, looking round the corner.
Hehe, yeah, my toon stays cloaked during the whole cutscene as well, if I beam there from a cloaked warbird.
And a bigger problem with "Bigger picture", my KDF Allied toon still can't replay the mission. The "replay" button is greyed out.
TOIVA, Toi Vaxx, Toia Vix, Toveg, T'vritha, To Vrax: Bring in the Allegiance class. Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider. Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Just unlocked Duty Officers. Went to New Romlulus, and got my initial cadre. When I started assignments, the Bridge Office contact's head is so big in the window that parts of it are cut off.
Price of Neutrality
After defeating Lortrix, when you arrive at your ship a bridge office contacts you, the picture is Satra, but the name is Torvan Khev.
Memory Lane
After I pass the first group of "enemy" searchers, I come across a group of Khelids by D'Vex's old lab. My character seem to always be pointing in the direction of the fight with the Khelids. AS if there is something that I targeted in there. But nothing is there and no enemy targets at the top of the HUD.
Bought a Piercing Beam plasma rifle form the away team vendor at the flottila. The rifle is the correct mark for my characters level, and it is equipped. When I switch to it, the rifle does not appear. The power tray shows it's bolt setting, but I cannnot fire it.
Tradecraft
After talking with your contact and you leave the Drozana station, instead of appearing outside the station you are waping into the vicinty of the station in sector space.
In "Bigger Picture" when my PC and Tovan Khev beam over to the Cardassian ship in the gas anomaly, my PC doesn't materialise after transport properly and stays transparent for the entire cutscene.
same here, if you cloak a ship main character is also cloaked during a cutscene
Where is D'Nak's helmet? I found the painting, but the helmet on the bridge was not to be seen. Is it an appearance piece?
It is on your desk in your ready room; at least mine is.
Fleet Commander
Caprica's Revenge (...actually active since November 2010, which may one day be important to archaeologists, but not to anyone else...)
Once again, there is a kind of very fast screen blank-out following each cut-scene in the sequence aboard the derelict Cardassian ship. While this causes only the briefest of inconveniences, I have noticed that the controls and graphics/sounds are a little laggy for several minutes afterward. One thing quite inconvenient during this lag is that the dialogue boxes don't respond smoothly, sometimes not at all. So, when confronting the Cardassians, I had to eventually click the 'X' at the top right to close the window and allow the sequence to move forward. Several of the weapons were also slow to respond, as if the buttons had not been clicked. This does clear up eventually, but it takes place at times wherein faster response is important or, at least, would make things flow better.
One thing that bothers me quite a bit: OK, we are Romulans. BUT, we are a different kind of Romulan at this point, and are doing EVERYTHING in our power to distinguish and distance ourselves from the Tal Shiar. Why then, when we confront the Cardassians, are we all of a sudden "Cardassian scum" this, and "No wonder the Dominion abandoned you" that? Seriously, up until this sequence, we were being given the choice - or at least the appearance of choice (the game directed you to where you were going to go anyway, but we at least are made to feel we have some sort of hand in our destiny) - to be diplomatic, sneaky, or confrontational. All of a sudden, here, we are hardliners, and we sound more like the Tal Shiar than the Romulan Republic of D'tan's design, and that we have recently sworn to cling to. This is a little off-putting to be suddenly given a personality we may not desire. More choices of actions, please - don't decide for us how we will act.
Finally, at the end of the sequence, we are told to "...go to the Mempa System" and from there, follow the True Way ships. Only problem here is - WE ARE ALREADY IN THE MEMPA SYSTEM at this point and, in fact, have just finished our business there...
...and are told to "follow the True Way ships into the Eta Eridani Sector." BUT, we have just destroyed them all, so who exactly are we following? The dialogue here doesn't make much sense. Also, one tutorial about how to use the sector/area/galaxy map (as done - strangely, I might add - to get to the Mempa System) is quite enough, even for people who might be new to the game. A second time here seems quite redundant, and is a bit of a waste of time and graphics, in my opinion.
"Smash and Grab"
In the sequences wherein we board the transports we have disabled, we beam to Transport #2 and encounter heavy Cardassian resistance. Not a problem, generally, but I suddenly realized I had no back-up! Why? Because my BOffs did not transport with me! I had to die and re-spawn to get them to appear! They also have a tendency to stay static for a bit too long after transporting to Transport #3 - I was halfway up the corridor before they finally started following me!
Fleet Commander
Caprica's Revenge (...actually active since November 2010, which may one day be important to archaeologists, but not to anyone else...)
In the episode "Bigger Picture" Subcommander Nadel's dialog about moving to the next sector is out of sync after you complete the Mempa system part of the mission.
Comes up telling you to go to the bottom of the Tau Dewa Block when you already have. Then after you enter the Eta Eridani block she tells you to go there.

Lol, I currently have the same bug.
Kinda funny. I was hoping for some ground combat while cloaked, but oh well, hehe.
Other than that small thing I love playing LOR (The story, the graphics, the character creator, the LCARS system, it's great (Although I really don't like the uniforms). Thank you for your hard work.
The Valdore has a texturing error on the wings, at a distance or up close, textures are normal, in between the wings are just a plain blank white.
In a price of Neutrality during the cutscene where the Hirogen beam in, some of the Hirogen have no heads.
I found one small problem in main menu. When you can see your captain, ship and away team. There is not my tactical Jem?Hadar male officer show properly. I can see eyes and boots only. In game is everything OK.
Also the reward doesn't match the one listed in the assignment, it's a console instead of a rifle
Hehe, yeah, my toon stays cloaked during the whole cutscene as well, if I beam there from a cloaked warbird.
And a bigger problem with "Bigger picture", my KDF Allied toon still can't replay the mission. The "replay" button is greyed out.
Toi'Va, Ti'vath, Toivia, Ty'Vris, Tia Vex, Toi'Virth: Add Tier 6 KDF Carrier and Raider.
Tae'Va, T'Vaya, To'Var, Tevra, T'Vira, To'Vrak: Give us Asylums for Romulans.
Don't make ARC mandatory! Keep it optional only!
Tradecraft
After talking with your contact and you leave the Drozana station, instead of appearing outside the station you are waping into the vicinty of the station in sector space.
same here, if you cloak a ship main character is also cloaked during a cutscene
It is on your desk in your ready room; at least mine is.

Comes up telling you to go to the bottom of the Tau Dewa Block when you already have. Then after you enter the Eta Eridani block she tells you to go there.
