Systems Designer Jeremy "BorticusCryptic" Randall shares details about Romulan Warbird stats in this entry of the Legacy of Romulus News Dev Blog series.
Update! With the addition of these vessels becoming available for Subadmiral I Rank Romulan Captains, the T?varo Retrofit and Dehlan Retrofit have been upgraded from Subadmiral I Rank to Vice Admiral Rank vessels. This is consistent with Retrofit starships across all factions.
Why?
You were allowing those people getting them from Legacy Packs to get them early. I liked that. It meant I could get back to using my T'varo earlier and now you'll be making me wait 10 more levels for that.
It's not a big deal and I could just grind the extra 10 levels to get the ship I want to end up with, but that was a update I could've done without. It colloquial parlance, it's not an upgrade; it's a sucky change. >_>
...
The Dhael still just has concept art for it too. I guess it's not done yet.
...
Aren't most Fleet ship pictures just horizontal flips from the Retrofit pictures. That's too bad: I would've liked seeing what the Fleet romulan skin looked like.
The Ha'afeh is very reminiscent of old Star Fleet battles designs, and pretty great. I won't be flying it but it looks nice.
Over all the Ha'apax top side doesn't really live up to the concept art, just like the Valdore. Never the less I will still be picking some of them up for certain components. Eager for LOR.
Also, the Ha'kona or the Ha'retrofit should have a different skin. But I guess that way it fits in with the ODY and BORT visually.
Everything sounds great with the ships I just wanna hear how they plan to make the T'varo with the EBC worth using an EBC because with shield tanking and such that EBC is nothing more than a gimmick against your run of the mill setups.
"Critics who say that the optimistic utopia Star Trek depicted is now outmoded forget the cultural context that gave birth to it: Star Trek was not a manifestation of optimism when optimism was easy. Star Trek declared a hope for a future that nobody stuck in the present could believe in. For all our struggles today, we haven’t outgrown the need for stories like Star Trek. We need tales of optimism, of heroes, of courage and goodness now as much as we’ve ever needed them." -Thomas Marrone
I think it's amazing to see just how well the stats on these ships have been perfected from when I first saw them at the start of the LoR beta compared to now. A big thank you to everyone involved.
Ship are all great, but not very happy that the only science vessel is locked behind a Tier V starbase.
Ahem.
However, unlike the Ha'apax, which favors Cruiser-like stats, the Ha'nom Guardian Warbird is a true Science Vessel, while the Ha'feh Assault Warbird can be outfitted and flown in a manner matching existing Escorts.
Ha'nom Guardian Warbird
Acquisition: Free with Rank-Up Token, or Purchased with Dilithium
No mention of a SB Tier there.
You're just a machine. And machines can be broken.
What I would give for a non-cruiser science vessel
Tell me about it. I know i've already decided on an Engineer flying a D'Deridex Retro as my Romulan main, but I was in the mind to do a Reman Sci alt for the hell of it. Glad he'll have an end-game ship now ^_^

Seems as though romulan pvp will need to organise around the sci ship's cloak
1.) Sci ship calls cd on subnuke.
2.) All ships focus target while in BC.
3.) Sci debuffs
4.) Alpha from hell.
5.) Cloak and wait on CD.
6.) Repeat
Great to see the full stats, but I'm left feeling like I've been duped. I bought the starter pack, and now it seems that as a gold member I'll get the T'varo for free. Granted, I still get the Reman Boff, and a Tier1 ship costume (yes, yes, and the console) that I'll use for all of an hour...but really?!? This bit of info would have been nice to see prior to putting the pack out there. There's also the change for the T'varo from lvl40 to lvl50, which is a direct contradiction to when it was stated we'd get the ship. It all smacks of bait-n-switch.
interesting, sep console and the ship it comes with are gone.
cryptic, the guardian section has a turn rate of 10, twice as high as the d'deridex, yet the guardian is LARGER then the d'deridex. the station setup is pretty nice, but it deserves a beter turn rate, simply because of that guardian comparison. not to mention that there is NO canon example of a d'deridex not turning well. having a slower warp drive then a galaxy class is not an example of a turn rate problem

While you do get a VA ship token for being a Gold (LTS/ monthly sub) Member, that is a per character unlock, where as the Starter Pack grants you an account-wide unlock version of the ship -- this also would make you eligible for any Fleet Ship Modules discounts if you are looking to get the fleet version, where as the VA token (which can only be used once per character) does not gain you access to this.

+1 I agree that the D'Deridex should have at a minimum 9 inertia 15-20. Its more comparable to a Negh'Var.
Have not had the opportunity to fly it, but just looking at that design I pray that it does not suffer from the fateful issue the Qin Raptor had, compounded 10 fold by a 5.5 turn rate.
Just looking at the length of the hull and imagining the turn-to-target, raises my concern somewhat.

EDIT: Lt. Cmdr Tactical on the D'Deridex retro wooo. Please, please, please do not change that.
EDIT: True Tactical, Engineering, and Science vessels at Tier 5. Very nice move, great to see. This expansion gets better and better.

Only one downside to this. I now cannot decide what ship I want to fly. And I'm okay with that. :P

Does the Ha'apax have a separation console?
Some great designs and looking forward to flying them soon!

I would like to know as well.
Thats a question I was wondering as well, but if D'Tans ship was one of these beasts I am imagining we will see it a la Odyssey as a 3-pack.

As was previously stated, each ship's Refit costume can be applied to any retrofit version.
Ahem.

But any love left for fed or kdf? Or is all about rommies this time?
Yip just saw that now - phew!
What I would give for a non-cruiser science vessel Dare I say the Rommie Science officer is pressed for options.
A slow turn rate deduffer is a dead debuffer and no use to a fast paced arena.

Anyone want to give me a Temporal Heavy Dreadnought pack? I'll be your friend

Legacy of ROMULUS should have been your first clue
KDF are getting two new lower tier BoPs though. Both with unique consoles.
Join our cause now!
Hrm interesting seeing as this is the first time we will have had a cloaking sci ship, does sensor analysis build up while cloaked?

Yes, for this and this only ... wait ... because of all the ships! I am very excited.
I hope that the Valdore looks as good as that. It's the best looking ship I have ever seen.
