Everything works fine now on Firefox and IpodTouch, with a small problem:
The picture of my Captain isn't showing. Just the placeholder.
And I don't know if it is a problem but:
When I take a look at my Boffs via Firefox, only pages full with 4 Boffs appear.
Let's say I have 22 Boffs, the first 20 appear because there are 5 pages with 4 Boffs, but the last 2 don't show up.
But it works on the IPodTouch, where I scroll down the list.
I'm having the same issue on my Firefox. All of the Boffs are showing, but no one's Captain is visible, just the outline placeholder.

You can contribute as long you have the items in inventory (bank or on chara) You click on fleet then click on your fleet with Tier (should be two icons) then you can see what projects you have.
I have been using the Holodeck Gateway for a couple of months now since it was posted on the home page here. I like it a lot. I do have some things that I would like to see.
I would really like to be able to update bios. I don't do it during gaming because I don't think about it but then I see my toons on Gateway and think "Hey, I should add this to that."
Another thing that would be nice would be access to Character and Account Banks and Inventories.

That should be directly under your fleet name, not the sidebar menu.

Why isn't there an option to read personal logs from the gateway, it makes sense that there should be some way for others to read these, since you give us the option to write them in game. That would be my only gripe, I love it otherwise, although my characters' pictures don't show up, only boffs, but I'm sure that'll be fixed.
I've noticed that I apparently can only donate dilithium and fleet marks through the gateway. I don't appear able to donate anything else, even when it's available to donate in game.

For some time and since a few days ago (now I can't verify because server is down) The Gateway service didn't work on my Blackberry Curve 9320. Login error of some sort. I've tried it on my pc, on Chrome, it works perfectly.
Let me specify that months ago, after the gateway's launch to holodeck server it worked fine. Nothing changed in my phone's blackberry operating system.
I still cannot log in to the Gateway! I cannot log in on my Blackberry phone (it does an "error"...) and even on my Chrome, or Internet Explorer browsers now!!
The error I'm always getting on my pc, trying to log in with chrome or IE is: "Login failed, probably because the one-time code was incorrect." It's not covered by the FAQs.
I have registered the machine on account guard (both Chrome, IE, and the Blackberry phone) and I have not flushed the cookies. It lets me log in to perfect world, manage my account etc. with no problem. Yet It won't let me log in to the Gateway!!
Every time I log into gateway on my desktop it requires the 1 time code. Is there something special that I have to enable for it to remember this machine? There isn't a problem keeping me logged into sto forums, personal email and such, so i dont think it is a cookie issue.
I have tried in IE9 and firefox20, with windows 7.

This has probably already been noted, but the Hargh'peng won't show up.
Also, it doesn't seem to work in any of the countries where STO doesn't offer service, but that's not surprising.

I would like to see us be able to play our DOFF assignments and have access to our bank and inventory as well as outfit our ships and crew through Gateway...But I think that is a ways off. Oh and also like to see the little pop ups we get in game when we mouse over weapons and consoles that show our stats...That alone would be most epic.
And off topic a lil bit...
Isn't Cryptic or Perfect world a Chinese based gaming company? If so why isn't it allowed in China? One would think that with new found economic boost there would be more gamers in China.
Oh and before somebody starts going further off topic.. I'm not one to condemn peoples of another company for the actions of there government.
I know, and I know they SAID that, but it still seems a bit ignored and we still have issues even signing onto or sharing our gateway profile with our friends.

Hey guys. I don't post here much. Plus, I'm not able to start threads yet. Anyways, since my clean boot of my computer I can't seem to use my touch pad or mouse to steer my character in shooter mode. I've exhausted searching threads trying to find this topic. I can't tell if it's my computer of the game. But, I'm thinking , since it was working fine before the clean boot, it might be my computer mouse setting were re-set. Any help at all solving this problem would be appreciated. I'm using windows 8 on a lenovo thinkpad. Next step is to search windows forums to see if I can find a clue as to how to fix this. BTW, not an Ensign. I'm a Vice Admiral. Do we have to change our avatars on our own or something? LOL.

The STO Gateway is literally useless, you can't do anything, just look.
sometimes when I want to contribute to the fleet holdings, the contribute button is not greyed out even if i have no doff or dilithium to contribute. When I click on "contribute" it shows the amount of dili, doff, etc. of the previous managed toon. But nothing happens when i want to contribute this items (that's ok )

The STO Gateway is literally useless, you can't do anything, just look.
So it makes me wonder how long until we get more functionality.

Nothing is going to happen in the summer.
In fact, the interview with salami inferno this week gave me the impression that it hasn't even been designed.
In 6 months from now (2 years after the doff system was released) who will still be around to care?

The devs said the Doff system is #1 goal for the Gateway from the start of the project, on site and forum.
