Branflakes on Twitter: Hi Captains! It appears everything is down (all Cryptic games and services). We are working to resolve this ASAP. We'll update you soon.
It'd be nice if Cryptic could not share servers between games. This just seems so unprofessional to have your whole system designed to crash everything at the same time. Proverb about all your eggs in the same basket comes to mind.
Actually, what it means is they have all their servers in the same farm. It has nothing to do with professional. There just isn't anything that can be done otherwise. You have to have the servers in a centralized locations.
lol my buddy from overseas was having connection issues I heard him go on voice chat after saying his pc wasn't responding ea whole world has STOFFLINE right now
guess somebody has to wake up the guys in india. BTW servers (especially the microsoft ones) are quite expensive. IF I had to pay I'd share too, but then I would never run a MS server. RedHat

"Susse-thrai" had been the name bestowed upon her, half in anger, half in affection, by her old crew on Bloodwing; the keen-nosed, cranky, wily old she-beast, never less dangerous than when you thought her defenseless, and always growing new teeth far back in her throat to replace the old ones broken in biting out the last foe's heart. Romulans: left one homeworld, lost another, third time's the charm?
Well this certainly sucks... me thinks a large majority of the hamsters cryptic/PWI uses to run the servers decided to kick the bucket or go on a very long coffee break >.>
Ha ha ha thats a good one, made me laugh. :P Keep hanging guys and check the server status link provided once in a while, and cross your fingers.
Uh huh... I guess I must have been playing some other game named WoW then.
There were very few servers at launch of WoW that didn't have downtime, VERY few. And if you happened to be one of those servers, consider yourself lucky. One particular server literally had all players refunded a full month game time because it was down for more than 2 straight weeks. This is all common knowledge to people were were actually there for the launch of WoW back in 04, myself included.

reminds me to much of Nexon's penny pinching policy of using servers that can't handle to load of the amount of players playing on the game =_=
okay... apparently quoting peoples posts isn't working either.

Otherwise they may not have these issues.
Maybe the A-team can build them a new Server out of a Rubber, An Elastic band & a Pencil that will work better than there current server. LOL.
