I fancy a change from my mobius n i do like the jem hadar so im considering buyin fleet packs tomorrow, but i just looked at the chantal andorian ship and looks gd having dhcs on front will be fun lol but i also looking at the tactical escort, i dont have access to a fleet one so considering normal one and i heard cloak is very useful, but i mostly plan on playin pve so cloak isnt very useful, what do you all suggest? Hope i get jem hadar ship
With the amount you are offering, no one will trade you a JHAS. For that amount of ECs I'd be very cautious trading some people, to avoiding being scammed.
The only other suggestion since you got 80 million EC worth of stuff on a free account, BUT im warning you its very risky unless you know a friend who plays the game online you can trust. Your friend must be a subscriber, then you need to buy like between 90-100 keys, give it all to him, have him sell it in front of you, then give him all your collateral. He should then be holding just over 200 million, then find someone to negotiate with, cuz no one will go below 200million ECs on JHAS as of right now or EVER.
Either it's that or you can continue opening the fleet packs which is a throw away of money unless you are super lucky.

I actually wasn't lucky to be honest Val, I said f*** buying the packs, put together enough ECs and bought it a tad bit over 200million. The thing is, if you want something and have the resources to get it (even real life money) then sure why not get it? I say if you enjoy a game like STO alot, and getting something in specific will just make things more fun then why not get it? I, like alot of people, work my TRIBBLE off to make a good living, and if I have some money burn then why the hell not?

There are 'other' ways of getting ECs with real money, outside te game. But that's considered by Cryptic to be illegal if you get caught buying ECs from an outside company. I will not elaborate further on that subject.

In my opinion, it's really more on the side of a vanity item, but a damn good one at that.

It seems doable, but you'd lose a lot of defense (armor) in the process. Just because it's possible doesn't make it a good idea.
