Well I do 7-10k dps depending on the pugs and the char/ship im using. With a good group it gets towards 12k with my tac ofc.
I dont believe you can get much more than that without a good team.
It may be that you guys are better players but i dokt believe you getting 50% more dmg out of the same stuff im using which is fleet weapons kumari or whatever else is out there. Otherwise i really would like to see it for myself ingame.

I accept the fact that playstyle and how you fly your ship is much more important than gear and I use keybinds (sometimes;) ) but what is this thing about activation timer stopping me from fireing? You mean when I activate a skill it stops me from fireing my weapons? Never observed that tbh..
Still its escorts only i imagine and well i'm still not convinced that someone is really doubling my dmg just by flying a little bit diffrent or activating his skills a bit sooner but well maybe i meet you guys ingame someday then you can show me.
Johnsteward, send a friend invite to @eardianm and I'll get you in some runs. I won't be the most useful to watch as I'm running beam cruisers atm, but my current build hits around 17k at the low end with terrible pugs.
yea its true that with high dpsers your encDPS can be higher but only for 4-8k
some ppl can easily do 16k+ with pugs in ise
my breen beam boat do 11k with pugs and 15-16k with high dpsers and that ship isnt best as beam boat
and from my experiance only like 5% (if not lower) of ppl can do 10k+ with pugs
Well, we hit 12:41 without hulk today in cse trying a different strategy. Should be the way forward, with more dps and better hail timing think we can hit 13:00. And porch has some ridiculous parse to go with it also :cool:

AND VERY IMPORTANT NOTE TO LOG: Dennis and Hellspawny's log is not even close to accurate as they went left and I was parsing at right, thus the distance missed a huge portion of their dps--so pretty much disregard their numbers.
So, as I said, I did some runs with them and parsed them, used my own parser and the hulk did very nicely 21k dps in ISE run.. very nice indeed..
I still maintain that part of this number is due to having a good team, lots of debuffs on the targets and so on..
... but..
since i only did my usual 8-10k dps in the same run... i guess i'll have to admit that there is still some room left to improve/skill
i would guess some of that is due to borg doffs or stuff not easily obtainable for everyone but still, i admit its possible to do basically double someones dps if you have the right setup AND use it right..

As you can see, overall DPS are quite mediocre numbers actually of course part to out of range issues with the combat log, but overall, strategy seems more important than sheer DPS.
We spent quite some time on the strategy and execution of those, and while there is definatly room for improvent, and at least CSE is definatly doable with over 13, I think it will be quite slow going from here (decreasing runtimes 1 second at a time etc). Let tha battles begin!
EDIT: I just read through the threat and noticed that while the current KASE record is mentioned (by Hulk as "we weren't even trying") but not linked yet, here is the video for that too. Well, we have not won NWS yet (fed side) although we get to wave 10 every time fairly easily--but the vid would take forever as its a slow grind to get there while healing the transporter in between waves on 7-9. . . .

my personal record for hive is dirived from when combat starts to when queen dies in the combat log and the fastest i have done it with guys from the DPS-5000 channel is in my signature below
the OP stated these were just about the original three space stfs, once we are statsfied with our performance accross the three current records (probably when they are all above 13 mins) we will move on to NWS and HSE for certian, so watch this space
the reason it takes so long is we can only really attempt the records when we have our really top players online, and due to time zones, work, college, social life most of the time those stars only align once a week for 2 hours at most

Did you even watch the videos? What game mechanic exploits are you talking about--for I surely know of none? Getting these records took a lot of time, thought, discussions, and practice--especially on Cure. In fact we developed a completely new strategy to accomplish that time. But to make allegations of exploiting game mechanics because you are unable to accomplish our achievements, simply shows an incredible level of immaturity and ignorance.
