I think it's more likely you'd get a liberated Borg faction which would bring its own problems of lifers losing their exclusive race.

It's a cool idea but I can't imagine they would be a full faction, maybe a purchasable unlock but again, lifers, rage etc.

It is through repetition that we learn our weakness.
A master with a stone is better than a novice with a sword.

Has damage got out of control?
This is the last thing I will post.

Loose something and get something else.Pretty sure they will give other unique stuffs to LTS.It would be against their interest to remove reasons to buy LTS so be sure when they will make availalbe soemthing that was exclusive they will give back something else.

it would be cool ,because its in star trek universe.Ofcourse it should be very limited and in such a way that is not the OP kill everything race.

    Yea.... No...

    Bad idea...

My reasons are in the 120000000000000 other threads that already exist on the topic... look them up.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

I had hoped people would ignore this post. Seeing as how the whole idea is:

Insulting to the borg as one of the best enemies in series ever.

    The borg have no individuals.

The fact that even if they managed to destroy the borg their "idea" by adding in a faction you prob wont feel as badass as you want to feel.

Mainly i would appreciate it if people respected them enough to let them be the one thing they want to be but realise they could never be. Who wouldnt want to fly around in a cube... But it would detract from the awesomeness .....

That said, this is my subjective opinion. And i cant stop people from posting this request, even if its as silly as asking for a T5 Connie that would supposedly be able to take on the top new modern ships... There is only so much i personally am willing to sacrifice in order to make an mmo.... And that line was already crossed when cryptic threw pride in the uniform in the garbage can for the feds.

    *shrug* ill stop ranting now.

Well all lifetimers have are liberated borg character options. I think he wants like a full fledged faction with a homeworld, ships, interiors, the works.

The only way a playable Borg Faction exists is if they use the Borg Cooperative, Hugh's group, Unimatrix Zero, or a faction similar to them that hasn't been in the TV series.

Not it wouldn't. The Federation has playable Klingons and yet the KDF is still the KDF. A playable borg faction does nothing to make the lifer reward, which is a playable Liberated Borg on the KDF or the Fed side, any less exclusive than before.

The biggest draw for Lifers when the game was just launched was the fact that they and only they could use the Mirror Universe uniforms.

Oh and then they and only they had access to the Captain's Table, initially.

Think it will be common sense why would they waste there money developing another faction if romulans are not a hit. After all it has taken them years to do anything for the KDF and do this third faction. I think from testing on tribble it would be a hit

But Klingons were good guys late in the tv shows thanks to TNG and Worf. That is until Cryptic tried to take it back to the stone ages. But it was the foolish Feds that got played by the Undine time and time again in this game. Just shows the Fed stupidity. KDF tried to makes the Feds see the light but they were too stuck on themselves. So in my eyes the KDF are still the good guys and the Feds are just old school damsels in distress that refuse help.

Sounds to me like someone wants to run around tanking in a borg cube no one can beat.
