I've probably mentioned this in a couple of other places, but instead of the plasticky yuckiness that is the current Sierra 1 uniform in-game, I'd really like to see the "original" Sierra uniform from the Alpha release of STO, which was presented as the "official" Starfleet uniform around the time of the Hobus Supernova in IDW's Star Trek: Countdown prequel comic to JJ Trek:
According to fellow forumer stoleviathan99, IDW obtained the designs from Cryptic for use in the comic, and for some reason (legal or personal preference of a Cryptic game artists), the "Countdown Sierras" were removed from the Alpha prior to the official release of STO.
All in all, these would definitely have been a nice option, though, as they seem like a more realistic evolution of the TNG Movie uniforms than any of the 2409 designs currently in-game.

Secondly:
With the advent of the Romulan faction I hope to see the various Romulan uniforms from TOS (all types), TNG, & Nemesis style uniforms and not just the odd looking ones from the new faction trailer.
While not for the player.. Im waiting to see which race cryptic will put in this.
Beware the evil Hirogen and their space Tiger tanks. Only with the Uncle Sam type escorts can you defeat them... they are in the C-store, for 15000 zen.
But on a serious note, hoods like the vulcan monks have would be nice for off duty robes, and the models are already in game!
Let us wear Swimsuits on Foundry maps or bridges please! I would pay zen for that.
I'd also like to see the various TOS uniforms: male and female as well as the helmets. Also I hope they have both the TNG and Nemesis style uniforms as well as the DS9 variety.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

More hairstyles. We need more hairstyles. It's been years and we don't have any good new hairstyles!
So true! We need longer hair options for starters and plenty more styles. A ponytail that hangs down to the toons waist for example. We realy need a remastered TWoK uniform with all of the ranks instead of the bent craptactular Captain one. TNG Rommie uniforms definitely need to be available by the time the half-arsed Rommie stuff goes live. Future Imperfect CommBadges and a proper Yesterday's Enterprise uniform also.
If you buy the Jem'Hadar ground set upgrade from the Lobi store it should also unlock the tailor option so you can make all of your BOFFs wear the same Jem'Hadar uniform.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."
Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.
I wish they'd ad beast and other animal heads and tales to the alien creation like on there sister game champions online. I know that maybe asking too much.
Let my KDF wear the merc outfit, I paid for it, let me use it, not everyone in the empire is a klingon.
You have skin textures for the head, but if I wear a vest, it's smooth as silk, let me have the scaled texture for my Cardie below the neck and on the arms, please.
Beach wear for Risa, I can go to Risa, but I have to wear a full KDF uniform, not exactly practical, and if I use fed, I still have to wear pants and a shirt, while the NPCs get to enjoy the suns, and the ocean. If you're afraid that everyone will run around half naked on ESD, lock it to Risa.
Also, why do all KDF pants have to be tucked into the boot, and skin tight?
I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before (it's a big thread) but the "Open Jacket Uniforms" from the C-Store could use an update. I love the idea of them and did purchase them, but the shirts under the jacket don't match their closed counter parts, and definitely not canon accurate for those that from the shows/movies. Most notable the DS9 and TNG Movie uniforms get stuck with the ripped topped shirts (ala Picard's open jacket uniform from TNG) even though they have a plan shirt, or single zipper down the center respectfully. And the poor women, well apparently they all go commando and don't need to even wear undershirts if they are wearing Sierra or Antares :P
If you look in the character creator, the shirt is already a separate item, but its locked to its only 2 options; the ribbed TNG shirt or nothing at all. All they need to do is unlock this for "opened jackets" and offer 4 options 1) The current ribbed, 2) Current nothing, 3) A solid plan, 4) Single zipper. That way you'd have fully customization to make it look canon accurate or make something else up yourself.
Seeing how this is an extra paid item, and I can't see the implementation would be too hard considering how things seem on the character creator, I think it would be a nice little touch to spruce up that uniform pack.
I would like to see the TWOK Bomber jacket and away team coat added to the costume lineup. My only issue with the current TWOK uniform is that the shoulder badge is always for captain regardless of rank. It would be cool if this could be a changing item as characters level. Probably is too difficult tho.
I want to be able to wear the shoes from the "Motion Picture" uniform set mixed with other clothing pieces again - if I rmb correctly since S3 there is a bug that prevents you from selecting these shoes with other clothes than "Loose Pants".
Actually, that's -not- the TNG diplomatic uniform...
You can notice some pretty big differences if you look carefully enough. Such a pity.
Let's name them, for clarity's sake...
1) Diplomatic Corps uniform uses the current 2409 pips for rank insignia (right breast); the First Contact-and-beyond service dress uniform would use the standard pips from the 2370s-2380s (collar).
2) Diplomatic Corps uniform utilizes a departmental/recolorable stripe across the breast of the jacket and on the edge of the collar, in addition to around the cuff; the First Contact SDU only has this coloring on the cuff, and opts for gold piping in the aforementioned areas.
Comments
Is not the same one, the Ent C variant lacks the high collar shirt.
Contains:
TNG Shirt w/ Lab Coat
TNG Acting Ensign uniform
Whatever Wesley's weird stripy shirt is called. :P
"Yesterday's Enterprise Costume Pack"
Contains:
Yesterday's Enterprise Enterprise-C full uniform
Yesterday's Enterprise Enterprise-D shirt and belt
I guess that's all for now... Sorry if some of these already exist. :P

Interestingly, former dev Gozer actually commissioned a custom leather jacket version of the "Countdown Sierra" for himself:

(to the male edo outfit)
While it might be fun, doubtful that would ever happen, based off the backlash over suggesting the unisex 'skant' uniform
long story short sto is set in a time of understanding and tollerance, we are still however not there yet...

The TOS variant in "Where No Man Has Gone Before" (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110407162724/memoryalpha/en/images/c/c9/Mitchell-and-Dehner.jpg) would also be a cool one.

I also think it would be cool to have more off-duty uniforms, such as maybe a generic base-ball player (or like this: http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070323010704/memoryalpha/en/images/8/8a/Niners-uniforms.jpg ), shore-leave options (archer in ENT, Deep Space Nine: Let He Who Is Without Sin), 20-21st century clothing (First Contact, Voyager's Future's End, ), or even older such as the Spectre of the Gun "Cowboy" outfits.

Infinite possibilities have implications that could not be completely understood if you turned this entire universe into a giant supercomputer.
