Taking FOREVER to patch the latest patch

Wow, been almost an hour !

I got about three quarters done (85 %) and then the whole thing slowed WAY down and has been at 88% for almost 30-40 mins.

Anyone else?

Everyone must be trying to patch at once heh ?

    yep the more of us try the slower it gets

    been patching for over an hour here and still at 23% and seems to have stopped , I am on a 20mb download connection but the patch server seems broken to me . 5 and half hours for the patch work to the server and now it is broken , well done cryptic :(

    I have the same problem and restarting doesn't help.

    Hey all, Hoping this isn't just me having this pretty big problem, Patch server seems to be struggling, Managed to download all by the last 15mb of the patch and now its just hanging there not completing on two different computers.

    Anyone else having this problem or know a fix if it is a problem on my end?

    Any help would be greatly accepted and apprectiated.

    That shouldn't make a difference besides hun, I only started the patch on the second PC after running into this problem to see if it was my install that was the problem.

    yea i been having patch issues myself.... im stuck on 81.3% been 20 mins so far....
    patched 76mb and frozen lol

    guess cryptic screwed up another patch

    shared bandwidth (the more people down loading the longer it takes )

    Read the post I tried it on ONE computer and when the patch wouldn't complete started it on the other, I couldn't patch BEFORE shared bandwidth and on a 100mb/s connection two computers downloading doesn't usually cause issue :3

    Don't mind Sollvax, he's kind of a jerk.

    And yes, I'm also having the issue- you'll just have to wait it out.

    Same here DL seamed to hang up at 81.3 % after waiting 20 min reconnected and woot I'm at 82% making progress even if its exstreamly slow. And side note its not my connection here at home that's causing it too be slow other updates seamed to be at great speed, o well guess ill leave it to DL and go out and throw some disk golf and catch a buzz and b back for some motha freaking STO :cool:

    Same problem here with the new patch for Crystalline Entity. It keeps downloading (according to my modem) but makes no progress. As it stands, the game is unplayable in this state. I hope it doesn't take too long to sort this is issue out.

    According to other threads, this new patch has introduced many stability and performance problems into the game as well. Reminds me of the early days of STO where every new patch both fixed and broke something.

    the latest patch is taking 4ever iam in the uk and i started at 6.45 pm and now 11 pm here and i can only get up to 83% can any onw help

    I'd say they need to RE-patch and fix this error ASAP as the CE event is a TIME-LIMITED one and people are going to miss out on their crystals to count towards those dilithium reputation rewards.

    If they don't fix it in a timely fashion then we should be credited towards the rewards at least. Other people are logged in and making progress, what about those who are afflicted by this technical issue?

    Well I wasn't planning on messing with the CE anyway

    Happening to me too, it had actually received 377mb out of a 360 MB patch. Won't go past 5% patched. Something is wrong, Bran can you get the team to look into this asap please...
