Just like the title says, I wanna here funny and stupid reasons people have /ignored you.

Let me start off with a few.

I did Lowest DPS in a PvP match, With my healer. (70% of all healing done was mine for the whole map)

For telling people how to do the STF in a pug, IE, 10% Rule in infected.

Running ahead of a team to save the optional in CGE.

And

Because new donatra was too hard for someone in my team. I was ignored because I made the STF, and Coordinated it.

For guarding both sides of probes in KASE so my low DPS pug would still be able to get the optional, one guy was annoyed at not being able to just guard 1 side of probes on his own and do nothing else.

DCed in Azure rescue and promtly getting back in game in 1 min later, but an idiot was mad that he was left all alone to fight the Tholians guarding a bop even though I finished them all in seconds after reconecting. Really stupid since anyone should be able to solo the BOP guards.

This might be the stupidest one, I killed a Voquv with a decloaking alpha from a Fleet defiant and got a hate tell then ignore. Like you aren't supposed to kill people in pvp, lol.

I like to kill people AFKing/leeching at the spawn in pvp just to spite them, and got a hate tell and ignore from someone mad that they can't just sit at the spawn without getting killed and reported me for camping. Of course nothing happened.

Got bitched at and ignored for calling someone rude when they sent me an unsolicited fleet invitation. It's not my fault your mother didn't teach you any manners!

Whats fun about that is if you get an invite and do not accept or decline you can chat in their fleet chat without being on their roster.

Remember the winter event when chat was full of people spamming offers to buy and sell Bajoran Gratitude Beads?

Somebody I know kinda well was pleading with people to use the exchange or at least take it to the trading channel.

I sarcastically typed "EXCHANGE LOL WUTS THAT"

Got ignored by at least three different people. :rolleyes:

Someone once asked zone chat to explain the Academy Event to them while it was going on and I quoted the game's suggestion to "Ask Professor Mayer for details" because I was busy doing the only thing in the game you need to do on the Dil front. He called me a snob, swore at me, and put me on ignore.

I was disappointed. Usually I have to work much harder than that.

Almost all the people on my own list are ESD lower lifeforms discussing usually one of (i) TRIBBLE (ii) religion (iii) world economics, (iv) black people and why they suck (v) some combination of the above. No coincidence, I usually just stick to DS9 when I have the option.

The funniest was a year ago when I proved an elitest jerkwad wrong in zone chat about EPS flow regulators and energy weapon drain. Rather than admit defeat, he simply ignored me.

Judging from his tone and word choice beforehand, I imagine he logged off, sulked in a corner and cried while his mommy brought him a juicebox to make him feel better.

Ive had a few people put me on ignore, its mostly if I where to messup in a queued mission, or stand up for someone being chewed out for messing up. Same old story, they loose thier minds curse and call names then put everyone on ignore before u can ask if they are ok.

When they do this, I always pictured Rainman slapping himself in the head screaming. "Keep that in mind next time you feel like loosing yours!"

I think I actually remember this!! No, I wasn't one of the people who ignored you though.

I was ignored once by a spawn camper who attacked me me from behind as I materialized. I hit the subspace jumper appeared behind him and destroyed him accordingly with a single cannon/turret fleet excel build (green quality weapons no less). He f'd and blinded me in a private chat and added me to his ignore list. Go figure! :rolleyes:

As I can't play the game, I'll post an RL example...

To set the scene... Last summer, my wife and I were invited to one of her loser friend's wedding... The bride is a whiny ***** who complains about everything in her life, despite having opportunities that most people would kill for, and the groom is a complete D-Bag who serves in the navy, so fortunately, never around much, but when he is, only ever condescends to her friends who work in retail. Total ****nut, and the kind of person I doubt anyone would miss if he was to go overboard on maneuvers... Anyway, I went along as it was something to do for a day, and promised free food and drink ^_^ Jump forward a few months, and the Bride is moaning on facebook (again) about how much her life sucks. Feeling in a generous mood, I thought I would actually bite and ask her what was wrong, only for my message to be seen, and then ignored. I wouldn't have minded if she'd replied and just said "I'd rather not talk about it," but to post up statuses trolling for sympathy, and then ignore an enquiry, that really pissed me off... I wouldn't've minded if I'd've asked if her groom was tasty with his fists or if she liked it kinky, but it was literally just an enquiry, so to be ignored for that, yeah, that was probably the funniest thing I've been ignored for...

Also was perm muted in the STORP.org channel for asking, "anyone here who like to found, lead a fleet with me and stay?"

I observed the arrogant conversations they were having on their own for a while after that - overheard one user there mention "don't know and don't care, put him on ignore anyway" - and have to say for the record, it's the rudest channel I've encountered so far.

Me Again!

I was invited randomly by three folks for a PVP match in sector space. Noticed when i warped in it was me against three! Again, uncharacteristically I was in my Fleet Excel cannon/turret build. Wiped them out, one leaves, ignores me. Two return, wipe them out, another leaves, ignores me. Finally, the last guy comes at me in his Bassy and we play "chicken". He gets wiped out, leaves, and ignores me.

Typical with people. You need to know only one thing... if she ignored you, means you aren't high on her "Men I TRIBBLE to" list. :cool:

As I am fleet leader in both my Fed and Kdf fleets I was put on ignore by someone demanding to know why I would want to stay with my own fleet when I could join theirs. I politely explained that I enjoy my fleets, even though they're small, and thanked them anyway for the invite. BAM! Ignored.

Yeah, to be fair, she was never on my list at all...

Not a bad looking girl, but her attitude was just so negative, it made her a very unappealing person... If it wasn't for the fact that she's friends with my wife, and it would've been awkward for my wife to explain what i actually thought of her, I would've unfriended her, but instead, I've just hidden her posts, so I don't have to read her self-absorbed woe'th me TRIBBLE on a daily basis :cool:

There are two that come to mind. One, I got a 24 hour chat ban for mentioning that I ignored some TRIBBLE who was fleet recruit spamming every 30 seconds.

The second, I got invited by some random person for a 2 on 2 ground PvP. Assimilated Cruiser I think. Anyway, I like to use the Operative kit and my advanced fleet AP sniper rifle [dmg]x3 [CrtX] in such a situation, and after 4 or 5 times of getting one-shotted after I'd decloak and snipe him (fully buffed, oh the fun!) he proceeded to unleash Navy level profanities at me, rage quit, and ignored me. The guy on my team though it was hilarious.

I was in an IRC RP for a while (not Trek related). Someone came in asking in the out-of-character channel for tips for starting their own channel when ours were dead. The guy in charge yelled at the person, saying his channel would never assist another. A few others clapped him on the back for snapping at the person. It was by no means an isolated incident. I left soon after, definitely getting bad vibes.

Some RPers are just elitist. New people have to submit to a hazing and off-topic people get insta-bans. I haven't been able to find a new group I like yet.

Whenever I get horribly outclassed in PVP, I laugh. I think it's awesome. Sometimes I'll write the person later and ask for tips.

Yesterday, there was this guy trying to sell me 30 Dominion Boxes for 40k (Lol). So I tell him, I can get them way cheaper than that. So he goes, I'll let you have them for 30k then.
Im like, dude, I can get 30 for 1.5k ec...

So then he calls me a noob and says that he is now my stalker for life. Then he ignores me. Then he unignores me and sends 'haha' and reignores me...

I got ignored during the Christmas event. I was posting in the zone chat asking if anyone wanted free stuff (the candles, ornaments and all stuff). I wasn't spamming, didn't really have too, cause the word FREE caught everyone's attention.

But yea, got ignored for giving stuff for free in the season of giving lol

I don't think I've ever been ignored in this game. Sure I'll get some hateful messages spewed at me, especially during PvP, but I... why should I respond?

Besides, responding to that and then getting rage ignored cuts down on the hilariously entertaining rage PMs I get.

I told zone that chat banning someone for placing fleet ads was rude... Was chatbanned.

Then there was that one time I asked for help in zone chat. Was Chatbanned.

And then there was a time I ignored a random friend request.
