Funnily enough it happened on tribble, of all places.
I was running with a very rough-around-the-edges experimental adv. escort build in kerrat (it was my first time trying a semi-serious escort build), and there I found a bunch of people fighting over cracked, 1v1, like a sort of tourny.
anyways I joined in, and did pretty well considering I threw together my build very quickly, the guy that kept fighting me was in a bug and somehow couldn't crack my escort's defenses, it was kind of confusing and I thought for a minute I was doing very well.
He then said "this isn't my main build, its an old one, thats why im doing so badly, let me transfer over my character from holodeck."
Alright that's fair, while he went and got his 'better' bug build I got my main ship out for battle (my wells).
We met above cracked again, and I killed him fairly easily, but only once.
What had happened, was that he de-cloaked, alpha'ed me (while my fbp3 was up, mind you) shot himself down to 20% hull while I was largely fine, then re-cloaked (I think, he just shot his first volley then flew away sort of idly not making any effort to evade, dogfight, or try another pass).
He must have had no skills placed into cloak (if he DID cloak), because I could see through it from like 6 km away.
Regardless, I popped him as his weakened ship made an easy target, and afterwards I said 'lol' in zone because I thought he was just messing around.
This dude exploded into a mess of rage, left the zone immediately, and while I attempted to diffuse the situation (I genuinely thought he was cool up until this point) he just kept threatening to ignore me, because I was apparently mean, inconsiderate, an elitist, and a troll for saying 'lol' in zone chat.
That's your first clue that you're fighting a moron. :cool:

Been ignored, several times, by several people, who claim that the Temporal set abilities are "exploits". I even posted the items and their respective powers in a /tell, but no, there's no such ability in game apparently, and I am evil hax0r for becoming untargettable for 7 second, and healing back up to full.
My guess is "hope" keeps people not playing but posting on the forums. For others, its a path of sad realization and closure. Grieving takes time. The worst "haters" here love the game, or did at some point.
Yesterday I'm running Khitomer elite space with my Fed eng toon (galor.) I go right to take probes as is usual for me on this toon. I notice a guy (tac) in a fleet defiant having a really hard time with a cube. Took him 5 minutes and 3 respawns to kill it. We lose the opt, ( probe on left side got through) and defiant guy begins to rant about how we all suck. I point out his lousy performance with that cube, and go about my business. After the mission is over, he starts spouting off nonsense in [tell], how much DPS he can do, how I'm an engineer and can't hang, ect. Only I can't reply because, you guessed it, he has me on ignore. he wants to do a 1v1 challenge. I'd reply only can't because he's ignoring me. So finally he just sends a challenge and I accept. For some reason, he chooses a ground arena. I go with it any way. After I trounce him 5 times in a row, he accuses me of cheating for using turrets and generators (even thought it's fine for him to use his buffs), re-ignores me, and rage quits. I smile, having embarrassed a loud mouthed braggart, and go about my day with a sense of accomplishment.

Only weapons should do damage in this game not magic powers.
Magic powers are for Fantasy Games.
Despite that being EXACTLY what the set does.
