Uniform Parts gone after Patch!!!!!

Just logged in after maintenance and wondered why my KDF Char was in an uniform i didnt log out with.

Changing with the change costume option wont work so i went to a tailor only to see that all my uniform i got over the last month are gone.

Missing atm:

Korath Outfit
Ferengi Earrings
Time Traveler Suit
Year 3 Sash and Belt
Honor Guard MK XII and Adapted MK XII
Winter Coat
Decorated Scarf
Warriors Skirt
and so on

same here, all my Honor Guard outfits gone and non-selectable through tailoring menu

Where they legit or did you use a command to alter them at some point?

The winter Jackets Short (don't know about the others) are non-selectable in the tailor.

From previous posts sounds like a general bug rather than the specific costume piece.

same has happened to me but only on klingon toon my fed toon is running just fine and i can change the uniforms but after maintence my klingon is stuck in some crazy outfit that i didnt make and i cant switch it out or modify it

My KDF toon has 5 of those items equipped, and that skirt cost me MILLIONS, so if I lost it I'm gonna be RAGIN !!!!

I may not even patch until this is fixed.

I've PMed the above players for more information (have not heard back from anyone yet), but we've done internal tests on all the above costume parts listed in this thread and found no issues. As akurie666 mentioned, did anyone who is reporting this issue use a command at one point (which can no longer be used) to alter their costumes in a way they shouldn't have been able to?

Oh, btw- the short jackets don't allow fleet emblems to be applied tho the long ones do.

I had purchased the Ferengi jacket on one character and then got the winter short jacket during this past winter event, on 2 characters legitimately. I am not seeing them in the tailor either.

I've also unlocked the two KHG XII costume sets in the rep system on my level-50 KDF character, and I think there are some missing options there, that I was told were unlocked with the XII set and completing all the optional STF objectives on elite difficulty... unless I need to farm Omega marks and dilithium to unlock the XI set and the adapted XII set to see.

Personally I've experienced no issues, but several players I've talked to mentioned having more costume slots than they've previously had (i.e. their character had 5, now they have 7). Something about those particular slots that lack several costume parts. And I'm sure they haven't used any workarounds to get parts they shouldn't have.

Still, I just repeat what they've mentioned, and it started after today's patch.

Same happened to me on Klingon room,I logged out then back in and my Honor guard set was back in the tailor.

I am having a similar issue with one of my KDF toons. Her last 2 costume slots are now unselectable. I can see the costumes listed there and see them when I go to the tailor. I cannot wear them from the tailors screen or alter them in any way. The 2 costumes in question are a Brown Winter Short Jacket and a White Winter Cropped Jacket. Not sure if that is relevant but does seem to be a common theme. I haven't noticed any similar problems with other toons even with the same items but will keep an eye on it.

I never used any commands to alter my chars appearance. I had the following problems:

on Federation char: Could not use an open, never used Uniform slot. The Uniform I made there overwrites the "current worn" uniform. I already had this problem yesterday before the patch (but right after unlocking 600d vet reward); and no; i did not accidently clicked modify on the current outfit.

on KDF char: Had not the option to use the "decorated warriors skirt". But in my case it did not dissapeared from my already created outfit which uses this.

If I select the outfit with the skirt at the tailor the skirt gets replaced with the only option: pants.

But please dont let this probblem be put on perma-ignore like the outfitter proplem with the KDF marauder BOFF *panik*

Please try logging out and back in; also, change change maps and try again. Let me know if that solves the issue.

Witchcraft! It worked. Bouth in the first city & the academy (have not tried the open slot with the fed char yet)

ok, I got my gear back, but witchcraft didnt work as above, I tried logging in and out, beaming in and out DS9 and nothing, however after I got back to Qo'noS HG option enabled itself in tailor menu, but... I wasn't able to wear that costume

as mentioned above I now have four slots instead of default two, I had to re-create my set on one of the empty slots (I've chosen topmost), and only then I was able to wear it

Logging out and logging back in brought back the extra parts to my Fed Toon. But I can't save or change outfits. Have changed maps and visited the tailor with no success. This is only effecting Uniform. I noticed that in the type of Uniform it has TR UNRESTRICTED
I'm guessing it must mean Trill unrestricted. When I try using Off duty or Fleet uniform I can change uniforms

The above has not solved the issue I tried those right before I posted on the forum and tried again before I had left the house still had 5 costume slots when I only had three can only modify the first tab can't modify the others this only happened after the maintence I can't switch uniforms by right clicking my toons portrait nor have used any commands to alter appearance any other tips for a quick fix? O and a quick edit I don't have this problem on y federation toon

Well, I'm new so I doubt I'm missing any parts - the rest is familiar though. My uniform is stuck in "TR UNRESTRICTED" and refuses to be renamed or edited, any changes I make seem fine at the time, but saving the changes just fails silently and I revert to the old uniform.

I have had the Costume slots issue too. Both the TC Unrestricted where I can't change any parts on my Uniforms & the Extra Slots appearing on some of my Characters. This happened a Few hrs ago. I was goner check it out again once I reached 50 on my character 2nite. But guess that aint happening now with the Outage on the Servers. LOl. but I did try Logging out & restarting the Game Client & these issues where still there.

I experienced a similar affect on one of my two KDF characters. My KDF character had a different outfit that I logged off with, and I could not select other outfits. It also said that I had 2 unused slots, when I had not purchased any, and displayed an unused fleet slot even though I already had a used fleet outfit slot.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only person having problems with ones uniform.
I logged off and on and did a few missions and nothing.

I can edit my uniform but it won't save my new uniform. Luckily I had an extra slot and made a new uniform and that works fine; I can even edit that uniform and I have no problems. Go figure. Haha

Good morning folks. After getting some sleep i just relogged into STO and my uniforms are back.

UI message told me that outfits are unlocked and they are really back, but now the ui message is comming every log on -.-

There are still 2 additional Uniform slots that cant be used so something is still buggy.

i payed for 2 addtional costume slots that i use for my two stf honor guard unforms so thats 5 slots im ment to have in tailor it shows ive 7 slots i can only change 1st 4th and 5th slots when im in the tailor screen

so theres 2 slots ive not unlocked that i cant use + 2 slots ive payed for thaty i cant use please fix this

As of the Server implosion last night I can no longer alter any Uniforms on characters of either faction. I had been on Fed side when I noticed it (prior to the big boot(tm) ) but since the reboot (or whatever) I still cannot make any changes.

I had just purchased the Odyssey at my Fleet base before things started acting funny. I still have access to that set but cannot make any changes to existing Uniforms on any character.

Ok....found the issue. In the upper right corner of the Tailor UI is the little drop down for Duty / Off Duty / Fleet.

Mine has an "Tr:Unrestricted" mode apparently. Something I've never seen before. Anyway, if I leave it in that mode, it saves nothing. If I switch it I can make changes and save it....in any slot except the first one....that one is still frozen out.

BTW. Changing from the "Tr:Unrestricted" to any of the other settings resets basic facial info to default so you'll want to record those bits on info. I used my cell camera.

Edit 1: Slot 1 is still stuck in "Tr:Unrestricted" which allows me access to any costume bits I currently own. I've checked to see that none of the slots are crossed up with 'illegal' cross sets but no joy.

Edit 2: I also cannot rename slot 1. Any other slot is ok but not slot 1. If I try to it does not change but if I try to again without closing out of Tailor it shows my new name in the rename box as if it were already that....though in the UI it is not. If I close out of Tailor it shows the original name in both the UI and the Rename box when I open it.

Edit 3: The character getting the "Tr:Unrestricted" tag is in fact, not a Trill but a Vulcan. How screwed up is this?

I have two additional uniform slots now to which my two second and third costumes have been moved, but the game doesn't let my character wear them anymore (probably because I shouldn't have these slots in the first place!). However I was able to copy my costumes to the other empty slots above the new ones and now it works fine again, apart from having two useless slots now.

I just simply can't modify my character's outfit at all. I tried a full modification (jacket and pants) to a different uniform and it didn't work. I was trying to put on the Next Gen film uniform. Didn't take. Then I tried to just change the color of the TOS Dress uniform I was wearing, that didn't take either. I then tried to change into an outfit that is basic to the game. That didn't work either. This happened yesterday, and happened again today. Between those times, I have logged off, logged in to two other characters, and then back again. This is frustrating. Would you guys please address this? Thank you very much.
