Actually agree with you here. Thanks for bringing this up. Some people need a little perspective. :P

Yeah you guys are right.... So umm, what do you do to support those problems in the world?

Does Beano really work if you have gas? I'd rather get rid of gas the old fashioned way...

Ya know, it would soooo figure this would happen right now, on this night. Been digging into some work for the better part of the weekend. Have more critical work to tend to within the next few days. Yet, I ran out, got my booze, assorted mixers and a big 'ol bag of ice, anticipating some late night fun and dilithium grinding.

Shower. Pour a massive drink. Sit down at the PC. And 'whammo!', 'Emergency Maintenance'.

And, if I've read correctly, this 'one hour' emergency maintenance started two hours ago?

Cryptic, you need a Scottish networking engineer! Start recruiting.

Just keep him away from the Aldebaran Whiskey.

Feh. I don't care how long Cryptic takes. As long as the job is done right so we have no more problems for a while.

In the meantime I think I'll duck into Champions Online and have fun personally blasting criminals. :)

whinging = whining. It's one of those American / British spelling things. ("Two countries, separated by a common language.")

What exactly is whinging? It sounds like some sort of sex act involving wincing :) I do believe the word you were looking for is whining. I blame No Child Left Behind for all the bad spelling on the internet :P

Oh you funny lil Americans *ruffles hair*

Whinging is most definitely a word.

    whinging
    Web definitions
(whinge) A cry; A complaint; To complain, especially in an annoying or persistent manner.

It means pretty much the same thing as whining, they are synonyms.

I'd rather play a buggy game than have this kind of maintenance. Can you just give us the patch once you finish it, and remember to back up your files next time?

No Child Left behind is American. Whinge is British and Australian. Oh, and Google is your friend. Whinging is complaining -- just like whining. Whinging isn't bad spelling.

You should see what happens when a dev shows up in game on ESD or DS9. All the same people that talk smack turn into hard core brown nosers. The sycophancy is so bad that you'd think he was a Founder and the players all Vorta.

Maybe you should use that Internet you're so ashamed of to look up the word... it's legitimate.

I'm also occasionally appalled by poor spelling, and, more frequently, punctuation, but this one is just fine. :)
