    Tier III Starbase is almost complete, latest fleet newsletter went out this morning, before the sun sets hundreds of Klingons will be defeated and thousands of Borg ships will lay in ruin.

    Btw, just ducked in to have a look at the starbase background and I find its name a peculiar choice. Is it Indigenous Australian in origin? What does it mean?

    Starbase Ettamogah is named after the Ettamogah Pub :)

    A well known and recognisable Australian icon..
    The Ettamogah Pub is a cartoon pub that was featured in the now defunct Australasian Post magazine. The cartoonist Ken Maynard, loving empty spaces and having nothing around him, enjoyed an area just outside of Albury at Table Top, named Ettamogah, thus christening the name of his now famous pub the "Ettamogah Pub" . The first "Ettamogah Pub" of a chain of such pubs was built there and copies now exist in various parts of Australia including Sydney, the Sunshine Coast and Cunderdin.

    The Ausmonauts are still recruiting. Our numbers are over 470 currently but we always have room for more. Anyone in Australia or NZ over 18 is welcome to join. To join head to our website www.ausmonauts.com or contact @nagrom7 in game (@bubblygumsworth for the Imperial Ausmonauts, our KDF fleet). Our Starbase is currently tier 4 with a tier 2 Embassy with provisions and ships available to most of the fleet. If you want a relaxed and casual fleet with people in your timezone, sign up today.

    The Ausmonauts Starbase, The Starbase Ettamoga, is on its way to reaching tier 5. It is currently level 15 with a tier 4 shipyard and industrial fabricator, with the tier 4 Communications array under construction. Our embassy is tier 2 with tier 2 diplomacy finished and tier 2 recruitment under construction. We have pleanty of provisions for our members and they are able to use as many as they can afford.     The Ausmonauts are not just a federation fleet. We also have the Imperial Ausmonauts for KDF players. With a cross faction chat channel and a ventrillo server its easy to communicate between the fleets and organise cross faction missions such as STFs. To join both fleets vist www.ausmonauts.com

    As of today, the Ausmonauts have finished our tier 4 Communications array. We are now tier 4 Across the board and are working to get tier 5 before our 2 year anniversary in May. There has never been a better time to join the largest Aussie and NZ fleet, so sign up at www.ausmonauts.com today
