    It would appear that Cryptic states that they a fixing stuff, yet all they really know how to do is break stuff so that we can not play. They want our money so that they can get paid, yet they can not get their fixes to us when they say that they will.

    "we're going to be running a few tests that will affect your connection to the launcher. Please read this thread for more information and details on how you can help, if you'd like. Our ETA for completion is at the same time Holodeck maintenance is complete." by pwebranflakes


    Looks like they forgot to have their "Wheaties" today.

    not again what did you change this week that every time after a patch i cant play?
    18 Cpt on the way to 60: 14 of them are already 50 or over 50, one is 60 and 3 almost 43

    Why contiune this "test" half an hour (and counting) after the server is back up? Seems less like a test and more like a TRIBBLE-up no one wants to admit to.

    Hoping the red text fixes this then because I had this problem like 5 days ago, and again this morning. I really really do not want to go through the pain of download/reinstalling/patching this game again.....it takes a really long time and I'm on 30meg.

    Reading really is fundamental.. This was made 5 minutes BEFORE the Deadline for the maintenance to be complete. They are still working on these tests. :rolleyes:

    im noticing that once this goes over seas, that is where we are having the issue...sometimes it pops in the issue when it hits the servers in california, but what im getting right now is an overseas ping time

    you will see that i have been running both a trace and a ping...this has been happening not only with STO its been happening with other MMO's laitly. i had the same issue with another one that i play yesterday, and the issue was resolved later in the day. its just going to take some time and paitience from us players and hope that this gets resolved in a timely manner

    GUYS,JUST A TIP:

    the first 2 tracert line's,contains youre own static ip.
    keep in mind that you put this on a foum,where everyone can see it.

    youre ip is youre adress from youre pc,hackers or people with a bad idea ( virus,worms) can attack you with youre ip,i donbt say it happens often,but the keep it in mind for youre own safety:D
