IMPORTANT: Launcher testing complete, maintenance complete ETA 1/31 @ 12PM/noon PST

Hello Captains!

While Holodeck is down for maintenance this morning, we're going to be running a few tests that may affect your connection to the launcher. If you would like to help, please try connecting to the launcher as often as you'd like. If you notice any issue, please report about it in this thread and include a tracert for launcher.startrekonline.com and accounts.crypticstudios.com (instructions on this process is here).

Our ETA for completion is at the same time Holodeck maintenance is complete. These tests will provide important information to our Engineers and external routing vendor so we can help put a solution in place to ensure outages like those that happened earlier in the week are much less likely to happen.     Our first test is underway -- please report any launcher issues you are seeing with the tracerts mentioned in the OP.

    Your wish is my command..

    Unable to connect to patch server.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Unable to open launcher. Stuck in launcher autoupdate trying to connect.

    Error box opened says:

    Unable to establish connection to Patch Server. Please check your internet connection. If problem persist, please contact Technical Support.

    ran serveral launcher tests between 15:30 and 15:43 gmt the first 3 open first time the fourth test took serveral minutes for connection before getting the warning below
