It's been down for days, it's gotten to the point where I've given up trying to use it. It's as if they don't even try to work on it, the links to report problems give an error message.
If this system still allows others to view information other than what is currently available in game, it is a HUGE PRIVACY ISSUE. I know PW doesn't care about personal privacy though as evidenced by the forum login denial using a proxy server. This, if anything is the game breaker and shows PWO's total lack of respect for players.

Not exactly sure what you think is a privacy issue. No Personal information is listed in Gateway, No account information other then the character and Handle needed to view a page. No Credit card information is listed, even by the user themselves. They have already said that no one other then yourself can see any in-game currency, and have even made it now that you can block your entire character from being viewed by other users.
For crying out loud, it's in beta, give them a break.

It was released. They had it on Tribble, and the one we have now is connected to the live server. Everything they release on live is in a "Beta" state for a while - the Foundry was in "Beta" for a while (might even still be in Beta).
The funny thing is, the Tribble version of Gateway still works.
It clearly was working at some point last week, but it looks like you're correct in that someone put it in maintenance-mode on Friday and hasn't realized it's still down...eventually they will. Oops! :eek:

We realize it's down We brought it down late last week and hope to have it back up soon.
1, On character select, I have a klingon being displayed as a federation.
2, On character select, I have character name in big letters, with ship type (Not name, Vo'Quv Carrier as opposed to whatever I actually named that ship...) under it for Federation characters, and with profession underneath for Romulan and KDF.
3, On ship systems, hangars are not displayed.
On a separate note, I would be very happy to have DOFFing available through this.

The Gateway feels like an odd site so far, but it's in beta so that's understandable. I found it odd all my bridge officers were displayed but my main character was a rough silhouette.
Not sure what the purpose of the Gateway is. Perhaps if Duty officer missions and crafting were available it would provide a reason to visit the Gateway more often.
