shuttle data things

i keep finding these shuttle data modules... what are they for?

    Are we talking about the ones that you could use to build the delta flyer, which were so rudely removed to force people to pay for the ship?

    Still have the Delta Flyer Schematic on one character. Only levelled up that character to get a cowardly pacifist that was permanently traumatized by the Vega Colony tutorial to 50. Beyond annoying before the Duty Officer system. Too easy after the Duty Officer system.

    During a replay of some Klingon episodes I scanned a space anomaly and got that included with the rewards. 1 so far. But I only scanned 2 space anomalies during a replay of 4 episodes.

    Found it today.

    A replay of Klingon story arc episodes as my federation char.

    I found one a few months ago as well. I don't remember anything about it other than wondering why I got it, and hoping it meant we could maybe still craft the Delta Flyer.

    Why was that removed in the first place?

    Pretty sure that if you still have the Delta Flyer daily mission in your log, you'll still get shuttle data if you scan anomalies while in a shuttle.

    They drop sometimes in operation Gamma
    Sollaf: Join date Sep 2009, Lifer. Disgruntled with the JHSS, my Bug feels less shiny now.

    i just thought it was odd.

    also, is there ever going to be able to "resolve" missions no longer offered? i still have some old stf missions stacked to do.

    update- i do still have both the missions, and i keep getting a data sample with each space scan while in my vesta lol.

    Used to be a mission that allows you a FREE Delta shuttle Schematic if you collect 10 of these Data Samples.

    i still have the mission in my que along with a couple of the old school stf's.

    so when i go to the planet the stf is supposed to take place at i actually get drawn into the old stf battle.

    I just got two shuttle data samples in my Chimera in the Cirini Prime system, doing the "Project Nightingale" mission. This was yesterday evening.

    As an aside, the mission text says "USS Nobel" but the accolade says "USS Noble".
