Would that include the hundreds of bugs ticketed and mentioned in the bug thread (many of which or over a year old) that have not been fixed?

Or just designing more ships for lockboxes :p
Little mistakes in canon and bugs in a game are entirely different things ;)
    Was named Trek17.

Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

They are but the outcome in terms of man-hours is the same.... close to 0:D (I exaggerate but you get the point)

Considering there's no canon regarding the location of the Archer system (which isn't even the same Archer system seen in Enterprise), I don't see what the issue is. And New Romulus is on the border of, not inside, Klingon space.

Wrong!! In Enterprise, it was clearly stated that the Archer system is 31 Light Years from Earth.

    http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Archer_IV

And if Mol'Rihan is on the border, then why is Nimbus (which was canonically confirmed being in the Neutral Zone), deep within Romulan Territory?

To quote a fleetie of mine .... :

Wow, there are so many things wrong with that sector block it's actually unreal. Where to start?

Nimbus System - Shouldn't be in Romulan space, it should be inside Fed space close to the Romulan Neutral Zone http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Nimbus_III

Galorndon Core - It shouldn't be that far into Romulan space, it should be VERY close to the Romulan Neutral Zone inside Fed space http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Galorndon_Core

Starbase 234 - Seriously? Inside Romulan space? http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Starbase_234

Nequencia System - Should be named to "Nequencia Alpha System", should be in Fed space, near Romulan Neutral Zone http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Nequencia_Alpha_system

Khitomer System - Should be in Klingon Space, taken by the Klingon Empire in 2382 http://www.stowiki.org/2382

Azure Nebula - Fail. Just Fail. Look at the image of Omega Leonis and you'll see why. http://www.stowiki.org/images/3/37/O...ctor_Block.png

Beta Thoridor - Should be Beta Thoridar, should be deep inside Klingon space, not on the border http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Beta_Thoridar

Pheben System - Debatable, is part of the Klingon Empire, but I doubt the House of J'mpok would use this sytem on the border of Romulan space http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Pheben_systemhttp://www.stowiki.org/Lore#Volume_15

Archer System - Should be near Klingon space, not on the border http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Archer_IV

Right Dan ... , it is a bit fuzzy ... unless you bother to look things up instead of placing Rome , London , Paris and Moscow all in New Jersey ... because those places sound cool ... .

Welcome to Tau Dewa ... where the writers think that you like stupid-fun instead of clever-accurate fun .

    Pretty much.

How much you want to bet the artist just looked at the Star Chats and didn't think about research? :P

Wonder if it's the same person who put Iconia deep in Federation space than along the Neutral Zone like it supposed to? ;)

Think I'll make a little map of my own and give Cryptic a choice which is better?

This is Star Trek Online. Details and accuracy are important to Star Trek fans.

If the Dev Tool is supposed to be very similar to the Foundry. I bet it would take the Art team less than a few minutes to drag the planets to their proper locations. Now the Territorial grid underneath, might take some doing.

i think the game needs to have more daily's to earn dilthum. and turn the daily amount to 10,000 it will drive the sale of zen up. and help the crafting out. and with more competition with the exchange that would help put the prices in live for the buyers.

Im in for this. We need more ways for earning dilithium earning.

Sad to hear that KDF is once again shuffled back to Season 9 or latter. Locks like its time to leave this game.

What like answer questions like this -

Q: (athourst) Are there any plans on adding in Dr. Crusher?s medical robe?

Dstahl: It is on our list for inclusion in a potential future TNG Bundle pack, so there?s a chance that you?ll see this in the future. We are going to try to release two themed bundle packs a year, so we may get to this sooner than later.

Yea, the man does have a lot of important things to be doing than getting little details right..

Trek, just take the blinkers off for once and understand that a lot of people are not happy with the game and the way it's going. "You" love the game and we get it, but why try to debunk anyone and I mean anyone, that has an issue with what Dan says or with STO.

The same goes for the "now relatively" small defenders of Cryptic. You say you love this game, yet you spend an awful lot of time on the forums "defending" Cryptic for everything. At least people like myself whom either don't play any more, or don't like features, I can understand why they come here to inform, moan, rage, whatever, but the defenders, why not either just go play the game you love, or don't response to the "negative people".

That said, to anyone, since Dan has returned as EP, what has changed for the better with STO and when Dan said he has changed, what exactly has changed?

All the ask Cryptic seem to just be the same with answers to "small" things and "fluff" to larger questions.

Everything is always about the next season.

Would LOVE to hear your opinion about the Vulcan ships from the future that Daniels had briefly shown Archer in ENT.
Oh that's easy. It was built by the Vulcan Navy as a mainline cruiser, though only the prototype was constructed (this happening before the Federation). Once Vulcan joined with Earth, they figured there was no need for such advanced Vulcan ships and as such, scrapped the design. ;)

Q: (tebsu) What did you do the STFs? I can?t remember the last time I?ve been killed but since the Season 7 update, I?ve been killed at least 3 times!

Dstahl: Sounds like the Borg have adapted to your tactics. :P Really though, the systems team is investigating some of the Borg STF enemies that seem to be doing more damage than they should be.
*loads her pulsewave, fires a shot at the Borg, and flies back against the wall*

    Did I get him?

*notices that the Borg shrugged off the blast*

Does anyone have a 4,000 dps MK XII ground weapon?

I must confess that I thought Cryptic intentionally made the Borg stronger.

I am now glad that it was just a glitch. Maybe there will be some sort of resolution.

I love how the NPCs in STO can go full Professor Moriarty, take control of Holodeck, and give themselves more DPS than "intended" by the original programming quite regularly through the history of this game. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight

There are a couple fleets out there that big but they aren't worth joining and its a pyramid scheme some of them do with leadership they only let their friends buy from the store so any of the massive blind invites a lot of people not knowing what is actually go on stay and donate.

So, I made a Foundry mission back in January then I took a bit of a break from STO. Now that I'm back, I see that my foundry mission is gone and I can't access it again. Does this mean I now need to buy a foundry slot, despite the fact that I've made an alt, made missions, played and reviewed several other missions already?

No body has access to Foundry editing at the moment. They hope to turn it back on with Thursdays patch...

I have a concern that I have voiced on this forum that the technical specialist seem to be ignoring either on steam or here. I am attempting to buy zen via steam wallet on "perfect world" "the holodeck server" , and every time I try to do so. It says " your purchase failed for an unknown reason". (even though I have the right balance in the account, and have done this time and time again only this time I had to log out of my computer to do add money from another computer as my main one was under repair.)

Will this sale be extended for steam wallet users that have been effected by this error , will it ever be addressed?

(I have a spending support ticket on the manner).

It may also help us determine which KDF ships to make, because there have been several KDF ships that we actually lost money on unfortunately. This is one of the reasons why we are holding off on making a ton more KDF ships because we really need to get more KDF players into the game and that is a much bigger issue.

I have posted before on this very subject Dan. Think of the number of people playing STO. How many of them post in the Forums. Using that percentage; find how many players have posted in the forums about not being able to play KDF because of problems with their eyesight, etc. Or can't play KDF more than 30 mins with out getting a headache from the Red HUD. Use the percentage to get a rough idea of how many players "may" be avoiding playing KDF because of this minor, fixable issue.

You can not tell me it would take tons of man-hours to make a customizable HUD. Even if you had a choice of three color schemes. A small investment might turn to big profit.

I personally get a headache after 30 mins. I have difficulty on DOff UI telling the difference between Positive /Negative traits, and have difficulty during space combat telling b/w Friend/Foe.

Come on, Dan. Give it a try and see what happens.

For those of you that were/are using the 3 pc BORG + MACO Shield......remember that they took the Assimilated Console out of the BORG Set so you are no longer getting the "Multi-Regenerative Shield Array"

I found out the hard-way not to play too close to the fire.

Yeah thats true but if you play out the rep systems there are multiple sets you can eventually load up on like retro borg/shield combo, or khg/maco set, theres like 3 different sets I know off out of the romulan rep system, the new omega set, etc...

So really they move one piece of one set over that you lose but you have potential to gain so much more now.

Only one question : When will it end to get dropped into a queue that is nearly ended or already busy, screwed up or whatever ? Is it so hard to program those queues to prevent it from happening ?

It's simple, what do you prefer to play, Mr Stahl : a mission that you can complete from start with the team to obtain the goal or getting dropped into one that is already busy and where you don't get a shot at anything ? Which of the both is appealing the most to you, which of the both is giving you the most satisfaction ?

Ok, it's more then one question, but what the heck, you get the point. Hopefully.

Ask Cryptic, when will, us players, we have the option to choose if we want the impulse and warp engine trails off and on? This way you guys will still be happy if you want the ships to have the engine trails and at the same time let the players who don't want the engine trails can turn them off. Everyone is happy.

You don't know your Trek very well, because the initial naming of the Archer System was a joke by Trip, and it stuck. Hence the "marketing ploy".
Actually, they put it deep in Romulan space, not Federation. Still wrong, though.

Okay, now I smell a troll. Because Iconia is in the upper left side of Iota Pavonis, which is clearly Federation territory.

seriously........U NEED TO LOWER the upgrade costs for the fleet base......

for the update shipyard from 3 to 4 we shall spend 1700000 dilitium???
you cant be serious! pls lower ALL costs they are way to much!
dilithium and fleetmarks costs above level2 are way to much even for a fleet with 500member....and if we speak the truth....no fleet has really 500 real activ member! that game shall still make fun or not??? this way you really dont reach that anyone still has fun...
    pls lower that all!

hope its not to late to add my question:
in short form......would u pls lower the costs?? they are way to much! my fleet cant afford the needed dilithium and fleet marks in a short time......we need to work on that for weeks! if no one spends real money for dilithium then even months....above level 3 the costs are insane! they should be maximal like level 3 but on level 5-.-"
would u pls be so kind to lower theses costs? some of my fleet even left because of that....
i see that it should take some time to build it up to the level 5......but this way it takes way to long....all the projects are way to expensive....there is no fun anymore in doing them....
