laggin, d/c, and server not responding.

I'm not sure if you all know that your servers are having problems right now, i see other post about this but being its been going on and off, more on it seems, the last week or two i'm assuming you all haven't read about the problems us players are having. We are getting a lot of lag across the game. the server not responding in red letters coming up all the time. and the disconnecting every 5 mins is starting to get a little flustering. if you all cool maybe look in to, maybe try to let us know you know about and are working on is so we don't feel like we are being ignored or left int the dark. Thank you.

    It's been going on for long time, some times worse than others. For me it was fine ~12 hours ago but when I logged on for the Tour the Galaxy event the game went ballistic when the event started and hasn't recovered since.

    yea i know it acts up from time to time, but it seems the last week or two its been worse. just would be nice to know they are trying to fix it and not just blowing us off about it.

    I got DC'd during a 4 person PvP match this afternoon. This is getting utterly ridiculous!

    I played again last week and this thing happens and the game freezes and on map the other players ships around me also don't move in the map or in combat what is happing here is the server line weak or something, I am from the uk so maybe it is not that strong here. i get the red thing that says server does not respond. are the company going to fix this i love this and is the best star trek game in a long time.

    Sometimes server become down and there are many type of problems faced to downloading anything. You can easily solve these problems by just visiting our website. We are one of the best ion solving the technical problems regarding hardware or software.

    Lagging, D/C, now I get unable to authenticate, or it hangs forever on the client launcher. Maybe I get close to getting in, up to the character select screen, then it won't log in to a char, or if I do, switching maps boots me again.

    This system is sucking right now...

    I just got disco'd from A CGE and now the game can't update the launcher, seriously guys fix this and don't wait until season 7 to do it.

    I have same issues since yesterday.Sometimes game launcher or patching dont responce too.
    When I could login I have lag particually.It's statrts yesterday and still has same.

    Serious connectivity issues but seem to only happen in STF's for me!

    I done speed test on my pc, all comes up fine, I play Planetside 2 BETA, which can really test graphic and internet connection and it runs smooth! and STO has always ran smooth in the past for the most part... and and still have no issues outsode of STFs, but in stf the rubber banding becomes so extream it just impossible to control the ship and its happened for the last 2 days.


    Till this is fixed the game is just unplayable, sorry... but I wont fight a uphill battle against all odds

    Unplayable for me to. Its been lagging badly for the last few days, today is the worst though.

    Problems yesterday and completely unplayable today. Any response? Server issues during a lifetime sale is not a good selling point for me... :rolleyes:

    I actually wouldn't mind if they just posted saying they've got server problems and they're looking into it. I understand that no online service is going to be 100% reliable, that's the nature of the internet.

    The annoyance is that I have just spent half an hour checking everything on my PC to make sure it's not an issue with me rather than them.

    a few days ago I started to have issues too. lag, sometimes just the server logs out on me etc.

    I first thought it might be connected to Sandy, and I do think it so still, however I am less sure about it.

    I am playing from the EU, had never ever had connection issues, and aprox. since Sandy hit the issues are present.

    however friends of mine, who live basically next door to Sandy have no problem with their connection... so I dunno now

    Currently unplayable for me. Responses are extreme slow. At launcher and in-game the responses are massivly delayed. I can connect to the game. But alone already takes forever to load the map?
    Buyed lot of Lockbox Keys from the C-Store and minutes later the lag beguns.
    For a lifetimer it's very annoying, tried since that every day. But it's unplayable with this slowdowns now. So please give us a feedback whats up, and when I can return to my duty.

    Cryptic must be some explaination to us if respect to customers.
    At this point I totally changed my mind to be become a gold member.
    There is many posts,topics,replies about this issue since several days but we got still NOTHING any explain what is the problem and what we will do for fix it.

    HEY CRYPTIC YOUR SERVER IS MESSED UP!!! WE CAN'T PLAY GAME SINCE DAYS!!!

    PLEASE TELL US WHATS GOIN ON AND WHAT WILL DOING FOR FIX IT.

    The game is run more smoot and stable.

    But still I'm goin pass inside at doors while opening,Ships are stop while they r moving.
    btw still has laggy but much more better then before.

    I really hope back to normal soon like 2-3 days before how was it.

    wishing Cryptic would say something! So we know if its just us or not.. I had no problems until yesterday. But it bothers me that we are the only ones that seem to be posting about it.

    I too am having an issue with a server lag. The game runs fluently and every 5-6 seconds there is something like skipping forward 2 or 3 seconds. It's not a big deal while roaming in sector space, but during battle, it's unplayable. One moment I'm 11 kilometers off an enemy, and the next one - my ship explodes (with activated RSP). It's been 3 days, and it doesn't gen any better. Logged in an hour ago (7 p.m. UTC) and the problem was still there. The problem doesn't occur from time to time - it's like this whenever I'm logged in - everything is teleporting every few seconds.

    same here for few days now. as all of you mentioned already, launcher not working properly, game lagging, even the pwe sto page is broken in aurora (alpha firefox) and FF16.0.2
    As someone mentioned, I've checked my speed via speedtest.net and the speed is fine, but not to US based servers, there I get only 1/4 of my ADSL speed in DL but max speed in UL.
    Currently I'm stuck at patching at 84.6% for good half hour and I've closed the launcher and restarted it for at least 5 times with no luck getting pass the block.
    In game issue is when I'm entering new area, the patching starts, and it is at 0kbps and it jumps to 80-150kbps but usually it was at 400-500kbps.
    It is like that for a week now.
    And, I've almost forgotten, although I don't think there is an issue with me being an European player.

    Server connection problems just made an STF almost impossible and still no explanation or hope of a solution from Cryptic. Cancelling my subscription and not buying lifetime after this silence, the servers appear to be broken.

    this lag really start to be too much !!!
    I'm in Eu playing Lotro and other mmo without any problem
    I'm using an optic fiber connection with 30mbps.

    now it's really time to do something with your server and connection.

    When you are stuck in a STF for 30 sec with server not responding message it's difficult for the nerves

    we give you our money so we deserve a perfect services ! the too many connection issues are not a well services more like ly a very bad one

    Sooo, has anyone stopped to consider that maybe, just maybe the storms on the east coast of the US might be a contributing factor. Seems the problems started right when the storm hit. There are many areas that still don't have power, which means hubs that the internet flow through are down or aren't operating at peak capacity. Just because Cryptic is on the west coast doesn't necessarily mean their bandwidth isn't affected by it. Depending how the info travels it could go through the east coast.

    At first glance at the replies it appears that it is affecting the part of the community whose first language isn't English. So it all may be dependent on where you are.

    I live nowhere near east coast and DCed 4 times this morning. I think we should all start making posts each and every time a dc happens until this is adressed.
