within the last 20 minutes alone i've been disconnected 5 times or so and yesterday i had to stop playing because of this. The day before that though it was fine for me, so i don't know what happened in that last patch but it doesn't seem to like me.

Definitely something wrong with the server. It's been bad the last few days, but right now it's to the point the game is unplayable. :(

Part of the pre-season server apocalypse. Nothing new.

Just assume normal server crash positions and wait it out. :D

See My season 7 post thread below or above this thread. Try the "disable on-demand" patching in the launcher - it worked for me - don't know if it is related or not.

I have had that disabled for a very long time now. Almost seems like they introduced a memory leak perhaps??

this is the word from the Champions forums about this

    Two separate issues:
-There was a problem earlier today, resolved around 11 AM PDT, that had users crashing.
-Disconnects are happening now. This seems to be happening on both STO and CO, so my guess is it's an ISP issue. I've alerted the engineers, I'll keep you all updated.

Yeah, branflakes already went home for the day. This looks to be an ISP issue, the engineers are looking into it. We've had similar issues occasionally, but this is worse than usual. The good news is that when this happened earlier, it went away rather quickly, but I'll keep you all informed.

I got bounced once about an hour ago... got back into game with no difficulty.

Have been playing since about 7PM EDT (midnight now) and that was the only blip for me.

I wish I had that kinda luck with the Lock Boxes...

Whatever it was, it stopped. Game is working again.

Janitor was prob'ly bumping the server with the vacuum while cleaning the server-room... :D

If the serer never crashed we wouldn't have excuse to get together in the forum, whine about it, and toast marshmallows. So there is a bright side, you know?

    DS9 #5

15 people have just confirmed they're crashing as well. This is my 4th disconnect in a row. Anyone even approaching the exchange is being kicked from the game.

Given it takes 60+ days to get a reply from customer service - even for PAYING customers - ay chance we can get a comment for the poor quality of access?

Just askin... cause other game want my money too.

i need some answers pls, we need the servers to stabilize before my fleet massacres me

Disconnects in STFs are making playing pretty risky. Imagine taking care of the Donatra by yourself because STO fails at connectivity. Did they move the server/ Cut a few cords? Drop some soda down the tube soomewhere? Whaaattttt?

This is actually funny... in a bad way.

Just remember this experience the next time you read a thread about "increasing the Leaver Penalty" for STFs.

I hope the Devs have more sense.

    Umm... what?

I've had no issues for weeks...
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
Let me put the rumors to rest: it's definitely still the C-Store (Cryptic Store) It just takes ZEN.

Been online all day and had no problems at all (here in the UK, perhaps there was an issue with the network in your area?).

Well if you read Really REALLY closely you will perhaps notice that YOU said that, not me...

    I am simply:

1: Trying to understand what people are talking about

2: Pointing out, that theres a good chance that "the hampster didn die", and a rat may be nagging on a cord somewhere else.

Stop going paranoid when people point out something that differs from your opinion, and stop being so negative.

I didn even indicate that the user was at fault... May be a ISP or some other provider along the path. Did you think of that?
No need to answer... You didn.
