Like the Romulan Alliance System? Of course you do, it sounds fine to you because you aren't Romulans, you're FED or KDF who are going to make a Romulan alt, it makes a HUGE difference in perspective.
As expected, despite several months of asking the same question there is no reply to when pet AI will be fixed. Carriers are gimped in pet control because of an absurd error made the LAST time the pet AI was meddled with.
Hint: You guys had FIXED the AI. yes... FIXED. Then a really silly, utterly stupid and unasked for 'enhancement' fubar'd the whole thing up so badly the pets stopped responding altogether. Since the deadline was up it seems those working on it gave up trying to fix it, applied a haphazard band-aid, washed their hands and left the mess to fester.

enough with the bloody klingons...almost 3 years now weve been waiting for our faction to even get a darn ship. We won the poll the first time around by a huge margin..and I stake my life on it now...we will win this poll again...CRYPTIC...no more carrot chasing, give us our darn faction.

Feds have more than enough content and toys to play with. Bring in a strike team. Knock Klingon Content out. Get KDF able to start at Level 1. This is way over due!
Then start a Romulan Lock Box Series. Playable Romulan Chracter in a lock box. Romulan Bridge Officers in a Lock Box. Romulan DOffs in a lock box. D'deridex Cruiser in a lock box. Mogai Escort in a lock box. Romulan Bird of Prey in a lock box. Scimitar Dreadnought in a lock box. Use that $$$ exclusively to create a new Romulan Homeworld. Then use The Foundry to let players create all of the Romulan Content. Romulan Faction Done! Plenty of money made! END OF STORY!

Have you read yesterdays Q&A on Raptr, if it was brought NOW to the game it would be a SUB-FACTION to the Klingons you are all so tired of, So you would STILL be KLINGON FACTION with the same LACK of content you all complain about now. It says PLAYABLE ROMULAN not ROMULAN FACTION aka You can now choose the character you can make out of the ALIEN GENERATOR and have the same exact content you all have now. Sounds like a smart Idea. I picked "exploration" on the poll because exploration was a huge theme of Star Trek and it's one area in which I feel the game particularly fails to feel like Star Trek.
I'd put "featured episodes" at a close #2 because I'd like continuation of the story arcs that have been left hanging for, in some cases, the lifetime of the game.
For #3, more exclusive KDF content. #1 and #2 are cross-faction, but they aren't enough to satisfy #3. KDF needs more of its own missions like the fantastic "Alpha" from back in April.
Well, More KDF Content doesn't quite fit what I would like, but that's what I voted.
I believe it should have been asked as "Finish the KDF content" as in filling in til it is complete.
Exploration would be my second after that.

Romulans do not deserve a lock box but a full pay option. We have stated for over a year now to just put us in at level 40, we want our planet, starbases, costumes and ships...we could care less for content...thats what the bloody foundry is for. So for those that gripe about content...go bloody make it, why you think the devs gave us the tool to begin with, they knew they couldn't meet everyones expectations for content from the start.

guess everyone missed the simple fact that romulan space is still larger than klingon space...oh maybe people missed that part of 2409 where the klingons tried repeatedly to take over romulan space and failed...miserably.
yes I read the raprt thing...personally...raptr is a joke of a system for gamers. but to each their own right. I want my faction and warbirds, some people want tribbles.
for those that werent around for the first poll...ya ROMULANS as the next playable faction ingame was like 66.7% or some number close to that for total votes... and that was 2 years ago...were still waiting while we listen to our kdf counterparts continue to whine over cloaks...as i stated before...at least you have your darn ships. All we get to be is the #@*@ end of a joke in every ask crptic...ya thats right every bloody ask cryptic is...when will we see romulans as a playable faction, every ask cryptic answer is...its something we would like to see soon...ya well so does your player base thats been waiting for almost 3 years.
Romulans have every right to be in the game as a playable faction as federation and klingons.
We are not to be held hostage due to the constant demands and questionable egg chicken debate about the kdf.
I do have somewhat of an idea for the KDF issue and people wanting romulans in the game...
I do so much get the picture about people investing in the fed side or kdf side that mostly will not majorly invest in the other faction like I really love KDF ships ever since I first saw them in the series. The obvious thing based on where Dstahl said he thinks or wants it to go on that note is doing those mini factions with one episode arc where it shows a certain side joining a certain faction. With the romulans in mind the fact that there is evidence in TOS and TNG that there were two seperate eras where the KDF and the RSE were allies this could be their third alliance.
As like with the orion, gorn, and nausiccans the romulan technology and ships could be incorporated into the empire. Then some future races like say the liberated borg like hugh could join the federation as well as other factions if they want to simplify it down to 2 main factions and many mini factions that join the 2 major powers.
From the poll it looks like its about a near tie between expanding the KDF and creating romulans so this would work perfectly on that note.

If we were placed under fed or kdf banners ie we can play said faction missions as intended faction it makes no diference to me so long as we get our ships, costumes, and our own unique starbases. TBH its not asking for much really...most of us just want this. We don't want to roll a vulcan and rp a romulan as some people suggest nor use the alien generator to create a romulan...in the end we still get screwed by using either fed or kdf ships and costumes..
its like saying your going to create a fantasy game with elves dwarves and humans but only humans and dwarves are playable..the elves you can only talk to for quest from time to time...
or...lets go a more direct route...TOR...its a galaxy field with dozens of memorable notable aliens...yet your forced to play as a human of some type...no wookiees, sulustans, mon calamari, rodian, devoronian, bith...i can go on and on..and thats what killed TOR for me.

We might as well call it ship of the month ie flavor of the month every time a new ship hits the store its the new shiney toy...but its not doing anything tbh, except maybe adding to peoples obsession and compulsion to own every ship in the game no matter if its good or not.
I want our faction so i can finaly sit down and enjoy the game as i see fit, to see what 3 way pvp in space would be like (mostly to give the kdf a run for their money since our ships will be pretty much inline with kdf specs) A new area to hang around in...we apparently have a whole romulan colony to go play in in season 7....not sure how mixxed i feel right now about that ...
its like good job cryptic..now just go the extra 2 million lines of coding and make it playable....i mean you already did the 5 million lines of code to introduce the system.....whats another 2...
Adding the RSE to the KDF makes about as much sense as adding Undine to the Borg. The only time the RSE allied with the KE was when it was in the best interests of the Empire with a plot of some type to bring down the Klingons. If they added the RSE as a subfaction to the KDF it should be a full subfaction. You can't join KDF fleets, you can't team up with KDF for missions. You can only join RSE fleets and team up with RSE members, outside of those missions that allow all factions. Further in PvP we should be allowed to attack both Feds and Klinks.
Plus he didn't say for a fact that they would add them as a subfaction, merely that they were considering adding other races and "subfactions" to help boost KDF numbers. Adding the Romulans would not help that cause as most Romulan fans detest the Klinks.

Let me just throw one place out off teh top of my head:
Kerrat.
It is so annoying to decloak when the zone resets because my BOff wants to tell me something through word of mouth.
And by the way Cryptic, the solution is NOT to just remove Kerrat altogether.
EDIT: dstahl, I saw your post above... and I maintain my request, do NOT make us decloak in Kerrat.
I'm sorry but i disagree, I think as the zone resets everyone SHOULD decloak, KDF and FED alike, it's the start of a new round, a clean slate, a fresh start. If you have a battle cloak then you can still use it if you really decide that's a good idea at the beginning of Kerrat.
I do however think that when an objective has been completed, i.e. the 8 Scans have been completed, the ship shouldn't decloak but from the explanation of how the cloak works I don't see that this is overly an option as you really do need the fact that the objective has been completed.
I don't use a ship with cloak much, but I'm saving for the defiant at this time and, I'm getting more into my klingon toon, so I might start to encounter these annoyances, yet I will continue to stand by my statement that the beginning of the round, everyone should be on the same playing field. The cloak is an advantage, i suspect the best reason to have a cloak at the beginning of Kerrat is to jump attack someone. Now as far as I'm aware, the mission objectives for both sides is to scan and destroy borg(specifically Kerrat mission, and yes i get that it's a good place to get the kill captains or die so many times) and if one entire team could be cloaked for the beginning of the round, then they would have an unfair, unbalanced advantage.

As I said earlier in this thread, it wouldn't be the actual Wells class. It'd be a REPLICA, built with current technology, made to resemble the Wells class. Built like this, it'd have one small time-based power, but otherwise wouldn't have any of it's capabilities.
I could be wrong, but that's what I think is the reasoning.

One example of that would be for the Reconnaissance Science Vessel (a +1 Luna-class, basically). I've always seen the Luna-class as something being linked to the Sovereign in an equivalent way to what the Nebula-class was to the Galaxy. I figure that with the white-black 2409 skin, it could join that spanking looking Regent-class as one of the slick-looking future ship designs Starfleet would have in the future.

I want our faction so i can finaly sit down and enjoy the game as i see fit, to see what 3 way pvp in space would be like (mostly to give the kdf a run for their money since our ships will be pretty much inline with kdf specs) A new area to hang around in...we apparently have a whole romulan colony to go play in in season 7....not sure how mixxed i feel right now about that ...

Plus he didn't say for a fact that they would add them as a subfaction, merely that they were considering adding other races and "subfactions" to help boost KDF numbers. Adding the Romulans would not help that cause as most Romulan fans detest the Klinks.

I'm sorry but i disagree, I think as the zone resets everyone SHOULD decloak, KDF and FED alike, it's the start of a new round, a clean slate, a fresh start. If you have a battle cloak then you can still use it if you really decide that's a good idea at the beginning of Kerrat.
I do however think that when an objective has been completed, i.e. the 8 Scans have been completed, the ship shouldn't decloak but from the explanation of how the cloak works I don't see that this is overly an option as you really do need the fact that the objective has been completed.
I don't use a ship with cloak much, but I'm saving for the defiant at this time and, I'm getting more into my klingon toon, so I might start to encounter these annoyances, yet I will continue to stand by my statement that the beginning of the round, everyone should be on the same playing field. The cloak is an advantage, i suspect the best reason to have a cloak at the beginning of Kerrat is to jump attack someone. Now as far as I'm aware, the mission objectives for both sides is to scan and destroy borg(specifically Kerrat mission, and yes i get that it's a good place to get the kill captains or die so many times) and if one entire team could be cloaked for the beginning of the round, then they would have an unfair, unbalanced advantage.

Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.
I'm sure if you offer to cover the cost of all the extra resources needed to implement 'all of the above', then they might consider it.

One example of that would be for the Reconnaissance Science Vessel (a +1 Luna-class, basically). I've always seen the Luna-class as something being linked to the Sovereign in an equivalent way to what the Nebula-class was to the Galaxy. I figure that with the white-black 2409 skin, it could join that spanking looking Regent-class as one of the slick-looking future ship designs Starfleet would have in the future.
