Why are these being retired so soon? Was the new content format that big a hit that you deemed there were too many ships out so you're ending it early?

are the lobi store items are going to be gone aswell?
it really is next to impossible to save enough lobi in time to get the ships
800 Lobi is a wee bit outrageous for that.

I'm definitely thinking the next lockbox, with whatever it will offer in addition, will offer a certain timeship class. We'd never get one otherwise, considering it's origin.
And let's face it; these lockboxes make good money, despite all the complaints. And the last lockbox offered some good rewards, besides the big prize.
So they're not going away yet.

Been playing STO since Open Beta, and have never regarded anything as worse than 'meh', if only due to personal standards.

'twas said faction specific ships wouldn't be lockboxed. 'twas also said the KDF would be a full fledged faction by now.
I hope for a timeship also, but it has to be 'balanced' so how is a ship centuries past ours supposed to be able to be beaten by our ships?

Things said by businesses aren't set in stone That was probably the intention at the time when they said that, but things change. I understand it, and I try to make others understand.
And anyway, the timeship. I'm thinking it will merely be a replica of the ship's design, built with current technology. It will have nowhere near any of the timeship's capabilities, but it will look like the ship, possibly with a small time-based power. How else would it be even remotely balanced?
So yeah, we won't have a timeship. But we will have a replica of one, essentially (and people scoffed at this idea when I said the timeship could show up like this )

It could have a console that slows targets down by a lot for like five seconds, and maybe have some kind of special chroniton torpedo launcher. btw, if you play through The Doomsday Machine you'll see Wells like there's no tomorrow. I made a thread about it somewhere in the forums, along with many other quirks.
This came quicker than expected. It felt like the Ferengi and Cardassian lockboxes lasted forever. Anyone have any ideas why the Tholian lockboxes are being pulled? Anyone have a guess as to what's next? Will we get more mirror ships? I have so many questions....
It would be nice if they did timeships if a fed opens it they get that one kind we've seen and if KDF opens it we get a heavy battle cruiser like the ones seen trying to capture their technology back from janeway
They did look like regular negh'vars but they could do what they did with the regent for negh'var and make a c-store or lockbox ship with it make it look a bit different and remove that negh'var out of tier 4 because with slight differences does not make up for the resources needed to obtain it.

Gotta give us a hint.

Yup, my money is on a "29th century" lockbox.
If there are going to be any changes, we'll communicate them

So I'll know when my chance to get a recluse goes away? Well at least we'll know that.
*ehem*
No offense or any hatred intended to any of you but you guys haven't done a very good job of communicating...

the next lockbox.
Xindi?
Romulan?
Breen?
Borg?
Undine?
Andorian?
Iconian?
Pakled?
the Ferengi shuttle was also 800. Now that might be a little too high.
I would have loved a reclusion carrier but 800 lobi's would probably take me a few years to save up to
Like the silk scarf though, you just can't fly a carrier without one
