    Thanks, I hadn't noticed that.

I'm just curious whether that means the updated Vor'cha we've seen on the screenshots will
only be available in the C-Store, or whether it will be an alternate skin...which would mean only
the Feds get one or two alternate skins for free.

    Oh really !?!

    According to the Calender
    November 2010
    3rd - 6th C-Store: Klingon Retrofit Ships

Now from what Dstahl said in the Engineering report
    dstahl wrote: »
These items are currently being tested either on an internal shard or on TRIBBLE

Note he said Internal shard or tribble

    Upcoming C-Store Releases
KDF LG (lvl 51) Ship Unlocks (B'Rel, Orion Cruiser, Gorn Science Vessel)

So what does this mean exactly?!?

We are not getting the Vorcha Refit it seems or the Nausicaan ship

Sorry we are only getting 3 ships the rest have been pushed back whlile priorty goes to Fed carebears NX Class ship,New Vulcan Ship, Enterprise J and TOS Enterprise Refit Ship

THANKS DEVS... WE GET 3 SHIPS WHICH WE SHOULD HAVE HAD AT SEASONS 2 AND NOW YOUR GIVING FEDS EVEN MORE SHIPS AND PUSHING KLINK CONTENT BACK EVEN FURTHER

Not to mention the ships we are getting are less than 2 weeks from supposed launch and yet theres no information on the BO slots or stats.

Fed carebears got info on the excelsior and nebula a full month in advance of their launch and devs were posting information on these ships in no less than 3 seperate threads yet again Klinks are being screwed over again can't wait to find out the Vorcha refit has no ltc commander tact slot ...

Once again, both the Vor'cha as well as the Refits are both mentioned in the calendar, they just have two different release dates.

Dude I'm looking at the Calender

It says and I quote "C-Store: Klingon Retrofit Ships"

It does not say which ones

Dstahl specifically mentioned in the Engineering report twice which ships where upcoming for release

    • Vor'Cha Ship Costume Variant

    • KDF LG (lvl 51) Ship Unlocks (B'Rel, Orion Cruiser, Gorn Science Vessel)
    • Enterprise Bundle Pack: Uniform, Mirror Uniform, T-Pol Jumpsuit, NX Ship

Please if you have information to say that we are definately getting the Vorcha and Nausican ship please post proof of it here because this still looks like we are getting screwed from where i'm standing.

The Calander that says upcoming Retrofit relases without mentioning which ones so this is not proof of anything and Dstahl makes no mention of the Vorcha (except for the skin which is not the Retrofit) or the Nausicaan ship in the Engineering report.

No communication from DEVS about these ships again one big double standard Fed carebears get all the love and Klingons get tribble turds

Sigh. Look at more than just November. The Vor'cha is slated for October 20-27. You can see it here.

I hope the nausican ship comes out with the others, that an the b'rel are the only two I'm interested although the gorn science ship is definately of interest since it's the first sci ship. Other ships less so to me.

    It says C-Store: Vor'Cha Costume
Costume in not a retrofit ok its a costume for the existing Tier 4 Vorcha ... :

They told us that there would not be a special power with the new Vor'cha...hence, ship skin.

No ... It is for the T4 *and* T5 versions.

Get on Tribble to see what it really is ... and I'm very happy with what I see there.

Sorry I'm basing my posts on what the calander says which is misleading

I'm at work atm so I can't get on Tribble :(

Perhaps you could do us a favour a post the BO slots and stats hull shields turn rate etc etc

Of all the ships? Is just the Vorcha on tribble or are the other 4 ships there as well?

Wasn't this only on the Internal Tribble shard? Has this made it to our Tribble shard?

And.... screenshots or I don't believe any of it!

Only the Vorcha is on tribble and its a dissapointment as it only has 1 LT Tact and 1 Ensign Tact

The excelsior has a LTC Tact slot the Nebula is capable of having 1x LT Tact and 1X LT Tact (Unversial slot)

Feds have a cruiser and a sci ship with more tactical BO capabilities than the Klinks and we are supposed to be the warrior race and our ships are supposed to be geared towards battle more so then feds.

    Typical Cryptic biasing the Feds

Feds always have had better hull/shields and we've always had better maneuverability and cloak.

Now Feds are getting better Tact BO slots as well with their refits in adition to unique abilties those ships have while the Vorcha gets no unique abilty.

The Vorcha is not a fair match for what feds get either give it the LTC tact slot or 2 lt tact slots or give us the Ktinga Retrofit that mirrors the excelsiors bo slots.

I mean Klingons are supposed to have BATTLE CRUISERS that means they are built for BATTLE and thus should have equal or better TACTICAL BO OPTIONS then FEDS not WORSE

So fair's fair either give Klinks a ship with the BO slots of the excelsior or nerf the excelsior either way I don't care.

I have play tested the T5 Vor'cha on Tribble and it is not exactly just a costume. It has less hull points and more turn rate and an ensign tac in place of the ensign engineer, other wise yes it is a Negh'var in disguise. Still I like it allot, better than the Negh'var, and just might make it my primary ship for my KDF main.

I do not like it much...I believe I will wait for the ethnic ships to come out before I make a final decision though...I was hoping to get myself rocked by testing the Vor'cha and wasn't....

In case somebody hasn't yet noticed - the Vor'Cha Costume is now in the C-Store, complete with pictures. The text for the costume mentions that it can be used for both the original Vor'Cha as well as the Retrofit (T5) one.

Since no other Vor'Cha-item is scheduled for C-Store release, I guess this means the Retrofit ship itself will (only) be available via in-game means!

    Not really digging the skin

As for the Vorcha only being available via in-game means. I'm not sure about that the "re-fits" mentioned in Nov are both C-store and in-game. And it does not list the ships included in this.
    November 2010
    3rd - 6th C-Store: Klingon Retrofit Ships
Similar to the Fed Level 51 "Retrofits," these ships are available via free ship token and emblems on a per character basis.

That's a good point - it is not impossible that this would mean the Vor'Cha would show up twice in the C-Store.

But I still expect her to be available via in-game means (at least in addition to a potential purchase) simply because she has no special ability.

Oh I totally agree, it will be both. They won't make that big of a mistake.

Your aware that the vorcha is already avilable on live right? uses the same purchase system as the neghvar, BG rank, ship token or credits, its not so much a refit as it is just an alternative layout with a vorcha skin, why would they bother putting it in the C-store when its available via the normal and very easy ingame means?

I was not aware, I had not been following the Vor'cha situation much since they announced the fairly lame layout with no special ability. I have also not been in game today since the serve has been down for sometime and I usually don't read the release notes until I patch.

T5 Vor'cha is pretty darn amazing.. Even with "only" the Assault Cruiset layout, its IMO the best cruiser in the game, bar none..

Excelsior BO layout would have been SO overpowered tbh :D

Well, IMO the Excelsior and Sovereign both are on par with each other. If you spec properly, they both have the same hull and shields. The excelsior can keep torpedoes on target and bring more to bear faster but the sovereign can get marginally better healing. IMO I think they should have released the Vor'Cha with the Excelsior BO layout...now that would have been sick...lol.

    • Orion Ship is a Cruiser, similar to the Federation Star Cruiser.
    • Nausican ship is a little special. I call it a siege Raider. Its similar to the Federation Fleet Escort.
    • Tier 5 B'Rel is a Tier 5 Retrofit B'Rel Raider.
    • Tier 5 Vorcha Retrofit is similar to the Federation Assault Cruiser.

Frustration is one thing, passive aggressiveness is another thing entirely gang.

WE, as a group, do understand they gave us a ship that is the excel equal/superior (according to your skill) and can equip cannons, yes? and we got it for ingame currency and NOT Cstore points? yeah yeah, so it doesnt have a LTC tac slot, get over it, if your having issues with being skilled enough to compensate for that pm me, I'll be happy to help you as will many others. Those that I have problems with are the SAME folks I always have problems with in PVP BECAUSE THEY ARE SKILLED PLAYERS. didnt matter what ship they flew, they are just good at adapting and good at PVP.
In pvp, I mowed several excel's/AC and more then a few escorts who got surprised at its maneuverability with the new vorcha easily out turning them and out gunning them with cannons when they least expected it. i died too, all in all had a big old good time.

If it isnt broke, dont fix it.

On top of that, the concerted effort to flesh out something that never was meant to be fleshed out at all, as a playable race? i think Cryptic can toot their horn for doing a pretty freaking good job so far.

Everyone will have their opinions, but breath folks, pause and consider before flying off in a blind torrent. you can do it if you wish, but dont expect to many nice receptions from others if you do not.

Its amazing how well that lie has been propagated. It doesnt matter how manys devs say this was never and is not the case. This has been refuted from the source from pre-beta(around this time last year), from the very top of the Executive ranks, down to the grass-root forum liason.

Yet and still, Feds still want to believe this falicy to make it easier to justify in their own minds, their continued privelege of greater content focus and development. The pschye wont let them ignore the inequality thats been at hand, one's conscience tears at you each time you are shown favor, while the other is left with scraps for no other reason than they are the "other"...subconsciosly, its too hard to face the fact that it could have been just as easily you if the roles were reveresed.

So instead of looking to speak out against it...because the idea of getting less for yourself in the process is no pleasurable idea, you have to create some illusion of the "why the other doesnt deserve more", or "why they deserve less". This kind of thought has been seen before and just as perversed here as it is any place else. We are self serving and narcissitic by nature...we will create what ever illusion/delusion, falicy, lie....and then perpetuated it to its fullest to supress our own conscience when it tries to direct us better.

Its so easy to blame the others who have been given so less...yet those who have been given so much take each gift for granted and then expect the "have nots" to just lay down and accept it.

Human/Personal greed is never satiated...it only justifies its own continued consumption at any one else's expense.
