I bought the caitian and i think it is sweet can jump like crasy. Also got the trait for charging and it was fun to, just hope it really does damage on higher lv to .
Now if only the TR-118 rifle would show up. After reading The Needs of the Many, I want one.
I absolutely love that freaking rifle. OTOH, it's worth noting that I play more alts than I think is average for this game. The TR-118 is one of the earliest things you level out of -- there are just too many weapons that do what the TR-118 does better (not counting the 'shooting through walls' bit) to hold onto it into even the late Lieutenancy, much less Lt. Cmdr.
If you do tend to start new characters often, it pays for itself quickly in slaughter. I would think as soon as Cryptic can put it in the C-Store, they should.
The Mutli-Spatial shield, on the other hand, lasts half of forever. Other stuff has slightly better stats after a short while, but between the regen and the capacity, it's just a darn good shield even into the Lt. Commander level. And there is something to be said for leaving your Defensive Battery in your inventory and swapping it in when you fight plasma torp firing enemies. Watching incoming torps just... melt away without needing your input is just so gratifying....
Now... waiting for the Caitian bridge officers to arrive. Then we have a pack to play with.
THIS!!! :-)
Just great, exciting work the art team did with fur and hair textures, and the tails. Can't wait to see you implement manes and expand the hair tech to the alien generator.
If we get Caitains and Benzite bridge officers, I'll be a happy camper. Actually, I'm a pretty happy camper now with the game, but those additions will be icing on the cake.
P.S. Nebula class ships, more complete Klingon female faction uniforms, and swapping already assigned bridge boffs between characters and other players would be the decorative buttercream icing rose on that already awesome birthday cake.
Which is completely wrong for the race. They are mostly a peaceful and science orientated culture.
So are Vulcan's, but they're still super strong and can throw a mean punch in traditional Star Trek lore. It's less what a race does with its biological traits and more what they choose to do culturally.

Besides, having them in combat is terrific fun.
