    Ok, they get the Galaxy-X
So now in response we should all start lobbying for the exact same thing..Chang's BOP.
    Fire from cloak.....
and I don't want to hear a SINGLE whine from the feddies....they chanted that the Galaxy-X was canon so they should get it, though it was on one show...from an alternate time line for what...less than 5 mins?
Chang's BOP was in a MOVIE, and was there for at least 30 mins.
Lets all lobby for that...5+ referrals you can CHOOSE one of the following but not both (Feddy Galaxy-X) or Klingon Super cloak BOP.

    Seems fair to me then.

But then they'll insist that torpedoes be able to track the ship's emissions.

Most logical would be to add a 'Dreadnought Cruiser' on the Klingon side, with roughly equivalent abilities as the Fed version.

    Or maybe a 'Dreadnought BoP'...

I'm a Fed and after reading this thread... wow :( poor Klingon faction.
I've always been sympathetic to Klingons since they seem to be really cool people when you PVP them and the life of a Klingon is hard at the moment, but dang.

you know what dissapoints me most, is that there are extreamly rich oppitunities for PvE sotry's for klingons, the aftermarth of the Gorn and Romulan conflicts in recent history, and plenty of stuff with the 8472, if you also added better PvE missions that included the current Fed vs klingon war, you could creat PvE content for all of the leveling process.

Hell I'll even write it all for you, if you like

I was playing last night on my Fed character and realized during some of the quests just how backwards they have it all.

The Klingon side has minimal to no PvE support. The Federation side has quests, but half of the patrol and protect ones end up being "The alien scum is in our area. Kill them!" style storylines. Wouldn't those be more appropriate for the klingons, not the federation? The Federation wouldn't just shoot first, ask questions later. They would send in the captain to coordinate a peaceful resolution, which probably would result in being attacked and responding with force, but at least it would be more appropriate to the Federation Lore.

Anyhow, half the Federation missions, with minor wording changes would better fit the klingon side and probably be a very easy transition to fill out the current PvE void.

The Patrol missions are largely (but not all) nothing more then Exploration Secure Sector missions. Even if they are technically not the same, content-wise they aren't anything more. The interesting aspect of them is the auto-teaming.

Having "Patrol" Sector missions would make 100 % sense for the Klingons... Well, if they had any sectors to patrol. :(

Well 4 isn't that bad really, it gives air to the entire Disco feeling on Qo'nos! Even the lighting there hints towards the golden 60s and Travolta's exploits on the dancefloor!

Maybe we should pester the devs for a giant discoball in the middle of the Great Hall of Qo'nos, accompanied by a groovy dancefloor and a DJ booth?

OK! You get changs bop. That odd near 200 year old ship. okey dokey.

What was its trick? firing from cloack yes? Torpedoes that is.

Sure. fire torpedoes from cloak all day if you want.

    ^^

I'd rather vote for the emperors neghvar from the mirror verse.
If the feds get ships from non existent timelines, the klinks can get a ship from existing parallel worlds.

    As a power it gets:

weapon system power cannot be drained by onboard weapons firing below the allocated mark. (so if you have it on 100, wont drop under 100)

It gets 8 weapon slots, 4 forward, 4 aft and 6 360° disruptor arrays that every 3 minutes, can be fired with an inbuild fire at will 1 effect.

Oh, and its twice the size of a carrier, but turns quicker.

    oomph!

but then again that would seriously be overpowered.... and too awesome.

i know exactly what klingons get...

buged exporation missions, either they have no entry dialog and therefor dont start or reward anything or you do get a entry dialog but after 45 min groundcombat you dont get any reward.
Also even after 3 month bugreporting they still did not fix any of them...

so back to 'defend the emipre' types...which superimpose 6 min waiting in between so we do not level up to fast ^^

or we can do pvp..but since there are less and less people playing..iff they do play the hardly play lower ranks, so you wait for 3-4h for 1 pvp match...

    what joy!

(yes there are less people playing..how i know? easy..our once 200-strong fleet has 3-4 people online and that includes me!)

While I do respect that actions speak louder than words... I hope that you will find Season 2 to be a step in the right direction for the Klingon Faction.

The team has spent a tremendous amount of time on Klingon Costume options, Some kick-TRIBBLE new episodes, and entire enemy group solely as a nemesis for the Klingons, as well as the fact that you'll be able to play the same Episodes the Feds are getting.

So from where I'm sitting, Klingons are getting more content in this update than the Feds are.

Our plan moving forward after launch was to ensure that new content had equal footing with Feds.

I'll be the first in this forum to talk about it if that ever changes...

I just want to clear up a point. There were no discos in the 60's. Disco was a mid to late 70s musical plauge.

    60's => good music
70s => Cat strangling recorded on 8-track tapes
    80 => re-birth of good music.

Please excuse the history lesson. Carry on as you were.

Good to hear something, but if reached the point where actions speak louder than words, and with all due respect, what happened in past does not make me look very positive for Klingons. In don't care fore Emotes or new clothing, I care for real PVE content, Missions, Fleet Actions and so on.

The Klingons are dozens of missions behind the Federation etc. Even if season 2 might be a step in the right direction, a clear statement that there will be a clear strong focus on bringing the Klingons up to Federations standadrs would be appreciated :).

I think they did close to all they could with this without making it "Season 2: Klingons" I know a lot of people, including me, would love this. But I also know that the vast majority of the player base would be screaming about ship interiors and diplomacy because they spent time designing new klingon only areas.

I'd also heard that the missions the feds are getting in season 2 will be klingon available too.

Stahl, what's the status of mission replay? If we could replay these cool new missions more than once to help break up the leveling grind, that would really help. Otherwise, we'll only be able to do them once, and unless you have made them 700 XP each, they won't go very far.

I'm glad to see things coming together for the Klingons. I'll have to roll a klink toon soon!

Also, no disrespect to Craig and his vision but there was also factional disparity in City of X between Heroes and Villains. When I left CoX the villain side was pretty much deserted. With your new position you have the chance to totally eliminate this disparity, or at least combat it as much as you can. This is something I've advocated since closed beta so I'm glad things starting to get better.

I don't recall fighting one yet in battle. the ship seemed to be lacking in the tactical bridge officer slots based on a thread in the cruiser thread. I see most of the complaints will now transform from "Well we don't have cloak" to "Well we don't have BattleCloak". which i a mute argument.

Most KDF ships don't BC anyhow, we've all learned how to get out a dodgy situation and then cloak. Heck, I don't even really battle cloak in my BoP's. It's basically a cloak I can use, while still in combat and not being attacked. In some ways, I wish they would of gotten the complete package of battlecloak so it can be put to bed. But then, I would expect a Battlecruiser to be able to Battlecloak then.

Just on the initial look, it looks like a barking dog with no bite.
