I've been Roleplaying on forums for a few years now (Mostly Gaia Online) but I am really interested in doing some in-game Roleplaying - something I've never taken up before.
I stumbled on to this Fleet while browsing the forums, and I am now preparing an application on the website.
As a rule in MMORPGs you tend to find higher populations of females in roleplay groups. Which is strange as in normal RP groups there is a definite tendency the other way. Never been able to figure out exactly why.
Me and Raven did some PvP with SOB last night, and it was an enjoyable experience. We were all escorts and we blew the opposing team out of the skies.
aah two escorts against fighters and shuttles that is just cheating LOL
Good afternooon Sysil and Raven just have fun with yah lol
I thought medical alone had more than 5 women already.
I can name at least 3 on the top of my head, but I was pretty sure we had more than 3.
Anyway, as far as applying goes; if you click on the picture in my signature you'll be automatically directed to our recruitment forums. Simply fill in an application there and we'll process it asap.
Looking forward to meeting you in-game!
Lets see Moon Angel, Xariann, Sarah, Cassie, and Samantha idk of anymore so it might be only 5 if there are more they are hiding :-)
Well Medical has the most, with me, Moon, and xariann, the only other one I know is Cassie?, and the there is Ezme but I don't see her about that much?
Yeah it seems Sci-fi games especially have a dearth of girls...
I don't know why, there are female trekies and while in WOW half the fleet were female, however when I played EVE I know that I made some poor guy spill his coffee when I got on T.S an he realised I was female..
What can I say....I like space games, so sue me....
In WoW about 10% - 20% of my guild was female, with the majority being male too.
I do remember one anecdote though, one of my female friends was raiding like she had been for several months already with her guild, however, she had never talked on teamspeak before. Then she did during a boss encounter, one they farmed regularly. However, she surprised all those guys so much that they nearly instantly ended up wiping, with all sorts of comments flying around on TS.
It was one of the funniest things I ever heard in WoW; one girl talks and none of the guys can focus anymore. -snicker-

My voice sounds so deep though that people over the phone don't believe I'm a girl x_x Which is why I tend to avoid TS/Ventrilo. But I do have a heavy British accent which seems to set the American girls off.
I for one happen to love British accents though. I like them so much that I'm trying to get a British accent for several years now, as well as having adepted my spelling completely to British. (Although for commercial reasons I do write my novels in American.)
It's just unfortunate that I get to hear so little British, almost all the popular TV shows were shot in the States and at best I'm getting a somewhat neutral accent. I think people can still hear some Dutch accent, but at least it's not as bad as it is with much Dutchies.
"I love Bajor, I would do anything.....absolutely anything for my homeworld. Thats what justifies my actions, the whole federation could burn for all I care as long as Bajor is safe!" -Lock Jerahd in season three of Startrek Valkyrie
Don't miss another thrilling episode of Startrek Valkyrie brought to you by Starbase Valhalla and the 12th fleets RP community!
Every Sunday starting @ 2pm CST -6GMT on Startrek Online!

Theres Doctor Who, which is awesome. You have to be careful to not listen to the American British accent (the excessively posh one).
Happy weekend Fleeties! Some of you know that i've just done a move to another province and i'm excited because i have two interviews on Monday for sweeet jobs. If offered both, it'll be a lil bit of a decision for me to choose between them.

Considering I've got the day off from work and a three-day weekend ahead of me, it's a very good day indeed!

Or, just pop on TS and listen to us Brits
Not yet, that's Tuesday.
If this is the weekend, I want the weekdays back, my head hurts x_x Sides, my piano comes next week, and I can't wait for it arrive.
Top Gear is my choice for a British accent fix.
Go Medical! Go 12th!
