Susan Ivanova: Who am I? I am Susan Ivanova, Commander. Daughter of Andre and Sophie Ivanov. I am the right hand of vengeance and the boot that is going to kick your sorry TRIBBLE all the way back to Earth, sweetheart! I am death incarnate, and the last living thing that you will ever see. God sent me.

Susan Ivanova: Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova's recommendations. Ivanova is God. *And*, if this ever happens again, Ivanova will personally rip your lungs out!

Absolutely the best quotes ever, B5 was truely Awesome!

    and my contribution

When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

    technically not Sci-Fi though...

Actually Farscape is full of good quotes, so I'll just stop here.

Well, I can explain that, I think... It's because she was the Sci-Fi goddess of my generation of shows.. it's a progression.. The one that was in power for that stretch of a few years when you came of age will always have a place of honor in your memories.

Past.. (Only going back as far as my lifetime. :) )

Lynda Carter/Wonder Woman.. then two years later..
Carrie Fisher/Princess Leia.. then two years later..
    Sigourney Weaver/Ripley.. etc.

    Working up to the present...

Claudia Christian/Susan Ivanova.. then a couple years..
Jeri Ryan/Seven of Nine.. then a couple years...
    Tricia Helfer/Six

Of course, after writing all this.. I wonder if I have put a little too much thought into it.

I didn't say 'so much Ivanova' is a bad thing. Its one of the few female characters I liked at first sight and kept liking as long as she was around. Delenn, on the other hand, limited to 2 facial expressions for 5 seasons... *gets guns* ;)

Yeah, but you knew never to TRIBBLE around with her either. You mess with Delenn, beings paid the price. and with that.

From Farscape - Bone to be Wild. Moya just had Talon in an asteroid field and the Command Carrier is trying to sniff them out. Moya has to run on minimal power to escape the scanners of the Command Carrier and the crew get a distress call from a nearby asteroid:

Chiana: A distress call? Directed at us?
    John: How stupid is that?
