    Personally I think this Game is Brilliant! It has advanced so much in the time since I started playing. I had left for quite a while to deal with illness but the changes are jaw dropping! I have to hand it to you!

    Short term

    Well really I have only one complaint. its the one I've had since I started playing, and maybe the only thing I can say would make this game truly perfect for me. I am an artist in RL so perspective means quite a bit when getting into a role-playing game. and I have always wanted the Option to zoom in to first person both on my Character, and my ship. not to have that the ONLY perspective by no means, but there is something that truly gets you into your game.

    When you want to experience a planet or explore, looking at things through your own eyes, makes quite a difference to me. it is amazing that more people don't post about this, I hear it all the time from others who want the same thing.

    the same would apply to the Mid and long term.. I'm easy, that and I think the creators do a fantastic job on their own. you have truly created, and continue to create Brilliance! You folks may hear complaints all day from players, I guess I'm here to represent the unspoken who thank you for making Star Trek online a reality, and in such a great way!

    Short- better server performance
    - crack down on bugs (do klingons still decloak on messages?)
    - ability to block 'join fleet requests',

    mid- a reward for every rank promotion, landing on a 'no reward' rank is a bit disappointing.
    - disable visual effects from other players (stop tribble spam etc.)
    - add sufficiently good foundry missions to the main roster

    long- true 360 space flight
    - less ugly ships to choose from, the explorer cruisers aside from the galaxy are vile.
    - rescaled interiors unless somehow pwe get hold of the tardis licence.

    I only have a short term:

    Allow badges as uniform items. Like military and diplomatic ranks.

    ive heard that kdf players may not join us on fed starbse due to them shooting npc's, id like to say that the funtion of the npc is still there, this does not block content and you have the choice of who you invite. here is what this has affected me and mine, i run a crafting division that covers both fed and kdf side of our fleet (most large fleets have both) i was looking forward to holding fleet events on fleet starbases however i cannot without excluding many fleet members. so im stuck hosting at a far less awsome place. please please bring back cross faction invitations, so its really up to either npc visuals or far less functionality to (everyones not just mr complainypants) fleet starbase. thx for your time, here is hopin' ill reiterate it is their choice what rank can invite non fleeet/cross faction if you dont want kdf there dont invite em, then we all can have what we want.

    Not sure how these exactly fit in the short/mid/long thing, but I have two suggestions:

    More decks on the ships/starbases: Even if they don't do anything, I'd like to see my entire ship/starbase. Also, it'd be nice if the interior could read the size/shape of your ship and compensate, but I'd live with the decks.

    Hit points on Starships: E.g., target the nacelles, then saw off the saucer. That's be cool to be able to disable a ship without completely peppering the hull.

    Short Term:
    Starship crew uniform changeable in a outfit vendor/modifier! (it's a stupid thing that I can change my uniform and the BOff uniform and not the ship crew uniform).

    Starship internal editor. Possibility to change the interior of my ship as I want, and not to chose only 3 type of interior (short - mid - huge). Another stupid thing that the short interior of Defiant-Class it's the same of the short interior of Mirand-Class (for example).


    Mid Term:
    Incentive the PVP! For that was created this game, isn't a PVP game. But we have 2 faction: Fed and KDF. So, why not make the issue more compelling? Add a distress call for PVP in a space visual for example, and engage a battle between the two factions.
    For now the PVP is really fail. In the 90% of case the PVP queue show ever 5 FED in queue 0 KDF in queue... It's a really shame.


    Long Term:
    For a future expansion, rearrange the leveling form. It's non-lore game if I start as a Lieutenant with Miranda-Class, procede to Constitution-Class, passing through Constellation-Class, Galaxy-Class, Soveraign-Class and later I can chose if I want to keep my Sov or I will pay to buy the Odissey-Class... How many ships have changed so far?? 5 ships... Minimum! We let that the game chose my destiny as a captain.
    I chose the class (Tact-Eng-Sci), the race and the attitude (Explorer, Dog of War, Resercher, etc) and other little attributes that make my char a unique char.
    Later, the Admiral Quin chose for me my ships, my crew, and my mission to level up, and grow up in the degrees! When I become a Captain or Admiral, I can chose my ship, and not when I start the game! In this way is more lore and funny game. IMHO

    Short term:
    * Fix the targeting camera bug.
    * The ability (button?) to target most threatening or mission-critical targets, i.e. bosses, dreadnoughts or heavy plasma torpedoes, first.
    * Get the voice chat working properly.

    Mid-term:
    * Get rid of the lock boxes. Right now, they're more of a nuisance to a lot of players than an incentive for spending ZEN. We're more than willing to spend money on the game, but give us something that is worth the money.
    * More missions and interactive objects targeted towards role playing.
    * Add the ability to hide your own (player or ship) avatar. Machinima filmers will love this feature.

    Long term:
    * Balance the ship classes and base their ability on player level, not just ship capacity. I want to fly a Constitution class because it looks cool, but don't want to be limited in combat over a Sovereign because the Connie only has Tier 2 ability slots.
    * Upgradeable (refittable) ships could be a solution to the above. Why not add the ability to buff your Constitution or Miranda to Tier 5 abilities?
    * Add the option of purchasing civilian, unmarked or non-aligned ships. Great for Section 31 or pirate players :)

    I never select need, I always Select gred, except for lock boxes, I just delete them.

    I believe the boxes are a huge waste of time and money :mad:. the average player won't get the items or ships they want, from a box :mad:.

    So, yes, get rid of the need button and adapt a rolling dice button.

    I have only two requests, both short-term, fix the darn bugs and bring in more KDF content including a new full campaign to match the size and hopefully quality. Oh and get rid of the FE on the KDF side, they play Federation, written for Federation and well are Federation not Klingon.

    That's probably due to the fact that the Klingons have very little content and are so bugged up it's not funny. We can't even do our Lore Missions anymore. Also the Federation seem to have better ships, especially in the escort range. It is getting worse if you look at the Fleet Ships, no KDF ship will be able to stand against the 5 Tact Console Defiant. In fact our best Escort, the Guramba isn't even getting a refit to match the Defiant.

    If Cryptic showed some fairness and unbiased in the game, I think PvP would pick up.
    Support the Game by Supporting the KDF, equality and uniqueness for all factions!

    A few requests:

    Fix the space camera to how it was before season 6 where it actually followed what you were firing on or selected. It is now a lot harder to fly an escort because i have to manually move the camera.

    Give a option to automatically fire on another ship if our targeted ship is out of range and i am not talking about fire at will (the BOFF power)

    Put in smarter target selection system. For example if i am in an escort and i just destroyed a ship and there are two left. With one of them almost right behind me and it is two km away and the other one where it has its shields facing me down and it is almost right in front of me but it is 5km away. Every time the 2km ship gets selected and by time i switch the targeting i lost that golden opportunity. Also another thing with the targeting when i am flying into a group of ships with no one selected i dont want to always fire on the first ship that came within 10km of me especially if im in an escort or a science ship and i have a gravity well or photonic shockwave ready. How about changing the option to automatically select the ship that is right in front of you and you can give the most damage to.

    One more thing. I say this on another post but i would like to mention it again. I would like to be able to see the fleet projects that are up coming along with the resources required so i know what to get and save up. Im not asking to be able to set the fleet projects i just want to see the projects that are going to appear (along with the resources required) after the current ones are completed.

    By the way i love the game and i really like season 6

    A new pvp request:

    How about some new pvp fleet events like:
    add all of the new fleet pve events to pvp so players will still have an option to play the events as they are our if they want to the could play them as pvp events. Like the starbase blockade could be fed players defending while klingon players are attacking. Samething with transports. Same thing with the starbase incursion and colony invasion. And to encourage people to play the new pvp events instead of just sticking to the pve events make the pvp event give you fleet marks for completion and staying in it the entire time (like 5 bouns fleet marks). And during the fleet mark events give an even bigger bonus to the pvp version of the fleet events. Like if the pve events give you an extra 5 fleet marks make the pvp versions give you 10 extra fleet marks. Also in the pvp events a player could get fleet marks for the amount of time they stayed alive.

    More races and uniforms. I'd love to have more uniforms like a Vulcan uniform. Also more races too. We have Deltans as Doffs but it would be awesome if they were playable. Oh and bridges, more bridges. The Vulcan ship and many others are missing a bridge.

    Increase drops in elite STFs and make prototype requsitions buyable with EDC. Make borg salvage and edc tradeable.

    Fix Problems with space flight(why cant we do 360's or min of flight of 90 Deg up and down)

    Mid
    Fix Problems with STO hardcore, dont know what you have done but Khitomer ship at end disapeers too quick and stays hidden too long.

    FIX - Still getting one shot with full shields and hull from borg ships too, I have no idea what hits me or how this happens. (may be a graffic glitch not showing incomming torps or lazzers) please fix.

    here's my list. :)

    short term
    • Rebuild the chat system to a more intuititive approach.
    • Fix space sfx display when in large groups.

    mid term
    • Place Fleet starbases in the vincinity of a Planet, maybe to explore and upgrade that one later
    • Fix camera clipping.
    • Please allow for seating on chairs...

    long term
    • rework the UI to allow for modifications. meanwhile reintroduce tng/voy style lcars like still seen in char selection.
    • More accurate starship interiors. Might want to start with the Danube Class runabout and the other "small" ships

    Long: Space amoebas.

    Quest to find Spock's brain.

    My Vulcan and Orion both have tuffli freighters. Add quests to allow them to carry
    goods from one point to another. Like a trade mission. Maybe add other freighters,
    that aren't quite as complex, to the game with fleet versions. Different freighters
    might have different cargo capacities.


    Mid: Change liberated borgs to look more like Hugh and less like 7 of 9.

    The ability to buy station interiors like we have ship interiors. ToS interior FTW!

    That shuttlecraft Scotty flew in the TNG episode he was in, add it.


    Short: Allow my Vulcan gal to wear the same outfit my Orion lass is wearing.

    Add some method of training borg eng boffs from the z-store if our toon isn't an
    engineer.

    Short-term requests

    1) Either fix 'All' search on exchange, or remove it altogether. Way it works now is that it often *does* list items, but at much higher prices than what category-appropriate items go for. In its current incarnation it is simply broken.
    2) Fix Foundry.
    2) Change cryptic (pun intended) 'Unable to complete your purchase' exchange message with something stating the real cause (namely, that the listed item is no longer available; it's often a refresh issue, really).


    Mid-term requests

    1) Make fancy bridges for ALL ships. I know you did for the Odyssey (which I own); but I bought as good as all separate bridges, for 400 zen a pop. And all these other bridges are TRIBBLE compared to the uebershiny Odyssey bridge. So, having bought all these sub-standard bridges (that won't even let you seat your bridge officers properly) I kinda feel if not ripped off, then certainly a bit miffed at throwing away all that real life money. There's nothing wrong with bridges the way they are, when that were the highest possible grade; but apparently, Cryptic, you can do *much* better. Make it so! Or, at the very least, let us buy the Odyssey bridges for our other ships.
    2) Stop closing open windows when we open another! This is annoying.
    3) Improve ship's stats UI; like, I dunno, add shield regen rate, for one. And defensive numbers greatly vary when docked, compared to when in space.


    Long-term requests

    1) Allow bridge customizations. And a way to decorate our captain's quarters (who knows, maybe tie it in with fleet shipyard upgrades?).
    2) More off-duty apparel, please.

    I love playing the game however there are a few things that I would like (and others have probably mentioned)

    Short term
    The Dilithium refinement limit of 8000 per day gets rather annoying when you're trying to supply a large amount for a fleet project

    Tetyon proc. I run two Mk XII tetryon beams with the [Borg] mod, two Mk XI polarised tetryon beam arrays and two MK XI Phased tetryon Beam arrays and I seem to hit more things with the phaser proc than I do the tetryon proc. It would be nice to have a visual for the tetryon or to have the chance increased (or both)

    Mid term
    The NPC stats have gone up a tad too much, I agree they had to increase with the "must have the most powerful ship in the game" attitude but I think it is a little too much (a ship whos damage potential maxes out at 1700 is now quite weak whereas it used to be average and is now barely capable of keeping on top of probes in Khitomer space elite) just bring them down a little to make it fairer for weaker ships

    Also from a federation point of view, klingons, they do far too much damage in PVP to the point where should I survive more than 5 seconds against one tier 5 bird of prey (I use the advanced heavy cruiser retrofit with full aegis set) then I consider myself lucky

    And "starbase fleet defence" the dreadnoughts in there have shields that are far too good, I agree they should be difficult to take down with one ship but not impossible and extremely hard for two ships on one side of it same goes for the siege dreadnoughts

    and long term
    as for long term... well I really don't have any long term issues as yet so well done there

    I hope you can sort these but regardless please keep up the good work

    I hope you can sort these but regardless please keep up the good work

    Klingon ships aren't too powerful in PvP, it's just that the player is good at PvP. There's a lot to learn in PvP to survive or to kill. You can't just walk into a PvP match for the first time after nothing but PvE and expect anything other than to get yourself killed quickly. If you're interested in PvP, read up on tips in the forums and practice. We don't need people calling nerf on things when they don't know how to play yet.

    Short Term
    make obtaining sets easier. E.G. like the aegis set easier due to some people being non-crafters ( like me )
    Mid Term
    Improve encoperating new species like tholians into bridge officers and create tholian missions ( like the cardassian struggle series )
    Long Term
    Make places like the gamma quadrant visitable when not on missions.
    Plus make more species hommeworlds accessable ( like cait for caitians )

    And here are my top three for each category, to hopefully get the thread started.

    EDIT: Leaving these up as an example, but since some of them were addressed, I've added another post (I think it's on page 6) with an updated list for myself :)

    Short-term

    - Make weapons auto-holster when beaming down to starbases or for non-combat missions.
    - Add banks and standard vendor NPCs to Memory Alpha.
    - Add some kind of way for us to see our progress at Memory Alpha.


    Mid-term

    - More fleet actions in existing sectors. Ideally, there should be a new one every 4-5 grades in the progression, with several at Admiral.

    - A "task force" interface that allows players to form task forces out of 2-4 teams and do fleet actions and sector battles together.

    - Implement something closer to a traditional crafting system than what Memory Alpha is.


    Long-term

    - Focus on branching storylines; give players choices during the missions that affect the outcomes (and maybe the rewards) of the missions.

    - Introduce missions with a risk of failure that would require you to start the mission (or part of it) over; timers that you have to beat (escape the base before it explodes), the ability for the NPC you're protecting to actually be destroyed/killed, etc.

    - Introduce romulan and cardassian as playable factions, with unique PvE and PvP content for each.

    i can see short term moving lobies from inventory to asset because it take a space there also pve from older fleet action should be fleet marks there incuding stf for better fleeting and making z-store,c-store better based between toon and account.
    mid term i can see dev putting in keys on tribble since they on holodeck only i got 19k to spend and already got most currently there. long term better storyline to aid us in season 7+ so we players who like game it not just a free all at the end more missions and ideas there i could see an upgrade to 53 on stf side already and mk 14 stuff but been holding that; but new lock boxes are better than last two and i like better quality but i can see needs when on at hand projects too there must be a balance like deferians

    My hope for the Future of Star Trek Online. 1: Get the Tailor Working Properly again, bringing back the pips and combadges. 2: Get Sovereign Class Bridges in the Sip Editor, like the one from the TNG movies, none of the current ones fit very well. 3: Allow Vice Admiral to have a New Ship when it says he can't. 4: Allow Quantum Torpedoes to be bought for energy credits.

    Short Term

    Fix the interface within the Starbase holdings. Sitting there and having to contribute 1 sample at a time is just stupid. You've got slider bars for commodities like Provisions, Medical Supplies etc but not for Samples, DoFF's. I swear I'm going to end up with RSI if I keep having to contribute 1 at a time when 150 or more is required. Make it more user friendly please.

    Mid Term

    Please make the Starbase Advancement system scale based on fleet size. The projects aren't that demanding for the larger fleets but how do you expect a fleet of less than 10 people to contribute so much dilithium, DoFF's, samples. My fleet has spent so much money just buying extra stuff or replicating it and breaking our bank accounts doing so. We have had 2 members donate over 80k dilithium each for one project just to get some fancy decorations and they were saving it for other things in the game as well.

    You could make it so that any fleet over 200 members has to attain the full requirement for all projects and then scale it down: 150 - 75%, 100 - 50%, 50 - 25% and then anything less than 50 is 10% of the target.

    And increase the cap or something for dilithium. 8000 is not enough especially when upgrading a starbase.

    Long Term

    Fix all the bugs with the tailer, warping out animations going through twice. Fix the AI in the fleet events especially for ground so they don't chase you back to your spawn all the time if you die.

    And rather than just giving the AI more power when you scale up the difficulty, how about introducing some more tactics in space combat. Rather than just giving us new ships with more firepower, re-think how space combat is done. Starfleet Command used to provide great strategy in comparison to this game and I do miss that. At least give the players that want the more in-depth strategy based space combat an option to have it active.

    The one thing you need to fix is only having access to certain abilities on ground or space based on your kit or bridge officers. If you were really a captain of a starship you wouldn't all of a sudden find that your tactical officer cannot perform Attack Pattern Beta, purely because he doesn't have it assigned to his skill set. All starships should be able to perform these abilities without having to sacrifice using other abilities purely because a commander bridge officer can only have a maximum of 4.

    Once again I reference Starfleet Command. This game has come along way from its release but I feel it still has a long way to go.

    All in all, keep up with the progress but please change your priorities on what you think is important and pay attention to what the players would like to see. Now I'm going to go back and spend all my money trying to complete 1 project for my starbase!

    i would like the time limit for dilithium mining lifted,

    also more inter action with your crew while on the bridge etc

    and id love to be able to click on the galaxy map and the ship go to that location

    and a tailor shop in the ship would be great!!

    oh also , be able to beam down on your own sometimes, or just have one bof with you some times

    What the heck happened to the option of choosing your own PVE and PVP teams? I went into a PVE and was grouped with two people that over stepped the boundaries of using profanity that would make a veteran sailor blush. They had no regard for who was playing.
    I was disgusted and reported them to GM.

    I like PVE and PVP the way it used to be where either you played with the people you chose or you played alone.

    I know this is all for socializing sake but really there are limits. I could've easily ignored them and what not and I never had a complaint about how well a person played or unfriendly content but our options have been limited now and there should always be options.

    I would like to see if possible. Complete random solar systems, Planets and special asteroids, that you can click on and scan, and get detailed information from them. Like Class M planet, Mass 4.9 X 10E25 KG, denisity, radius, distance from star. No life-forms present. etc.
    You should also be able to beam down to these planets, explore them, stash cargo there. Solar systems, should be huge too,not one planet per star but with many planets. You can even have missions, that say find a Gas Giant and collect some gas samples from them, or find some bacteria life. You can design endless amounts of basic missions, that would work
    All they have to do, is make a solar system generator. Run this 1000 times, and store the data online. Remember folks the oldie but trekkie starflight, or even the starquest online...

    glowing melee weapons like that one pre f2p , pvp only with melee weapons
    ground vahicle , racing ground and space (shuttles ,level 1-50 ship races) :cool:

    There are only two things i really want at this point, a better shooter mode (first person C.O.D. or unreal tournament stile) and the ability to do loupe de loupes and barrel rolls (ie full range of motion in space combat).
