    The secret formula is:
GRI + Klingon Heart of Targ = ZIN

And I guess you know that the last known (so far, besides Rivera and the Borg Tribble) is:
    DAX + Quadrotriticale = HAR

Oh sheesh .. thanks for that .. knew quad was in amongst there but forgot about the missing tribble rofl.

    Silly question:

I had a tier 6 Mat and someone said that it's not as good as the tier 8 tribbles. The only thing I saw different was the 0.02% regen as opposed to 0.01%. Are the tier 8's much better than the description that I saw than the tier 6 tribbles?

Not really a silly question. The main trade-off is that the while the top tier 8 tribbles provide the best buffs they only provide one type of buff at a time. Tribbles like the Mattson don't provide the best quality buffs, but they provide more than one buff at the same time.

So it's really a matter of choice here:
Do you want the best single buffs or do you want several lesser buffs at the same time? ;)

Did some work on test tonight and while there did the following:

HAR + Klingon Heart of Targ = DOTSON
HAR + Romulan Osol Twist = SPARKES

If anyone finds out where to buy ship repair components let me know looked all over ds9 and sb1 and didn't find the seller of those, found the guy who sells regenerators on both bases but the space repair guy didn't say what store to buy the components at sigh.

Either wait for drops from ground missions, or hit the Exchange.

Trying to breed a Highison tier 7 tribble today. My first go at breeding. I bought a Mattson tribble off the Exhange a while back and have been using it myself to great effect. Now I have just the Mattson tribble and a bottle of Romulan Ale in my inventory. Waiting for something to happen... or am I doing it wrong?

Nope. You're doing it right. Just have to wait up to one hour at most.

OK, in chat type "/played"; this will show your played hours. When it hits an full hour, that's the trigger for Tribbles to eat/breed.

If you have both, the tribble and food in your belt, you need to be grounded, or on your bridge to make it happen.
If it's in your Inventory, or your bank it will breed on full hour as long as you are online.

You don't have to be on for one solid hour at a single time. But you must have been logged in at least a total of one hour for a Tribble to finally breed.

The "/played" command The_MadTom mentioned tells you the total time your character has ever been logged in since it was created no matter how many times you've ever logged in. Tribbles will only breed when your absolute total played time hits the top of an hour.

So basically you have to be logged in at least an hour per Tribble breeding no matter how long in real time it takes you to rack up that hour of game time.

Why does the /played command not work for me? Does it have to be in a specific chat (zone, local, etc)?

So I saw that one of the bonuses you get with the referral program currently going on is a "hologrphic" tribble. So wondering what that's gonna be all about. Anyone have any ideas on what breed it'll act like. I can't wait to see what it looks and sounds like also.

The cool thing is that it requires 1 other account to get the prize instead of the 5 it takes to get the Galaxy-X ship. So they made getting the holographic bridge officer and holographic tribble a lot easier to come by.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Where can you find the right ingredients for the evolution. I see my Replicator does not have everything. Is there more items as you progress in rank?

You can buy some on DS9/Andoria. The rest are drops that you can wait for or buy at the Exchange.

Polygeminus Grex Photonic gives a double buff

    Damage Resist and Damage Regen

+0.02 Health Regeneration for 3.600 seconds

so it's a double 1.5 to 2.5 buff NICE (assuming 1.5 like Mattson & Ricossa)

    from the Original poster
an interesting thing to note is that the tribble iteself does not appear to be photonic, it is organic, I know this because when you pet it, it makes photonic copies of itself, which your team members can pet, and when they pet them, their tribbles have a holographic "shimmer" effect, while the main tribble does not.

    Here's the link: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?p=2649799

NIce that it fills out the double buff spectrum with Regen & Resist, pretty much gonna have to get another acct for at least the 30 days now just to unlock this on the main. If the photonic BO is anywhere near as good it'll make me go 60.

I've always thought a MMO rewarding players with extras for getting other people to sign up was a tad bit cheesy, especially long after the launch of the game in question.

Basically the few people I know who would ever try this game have already tried it and/or are currently playing it. For me to find more people to sign up to get these new rewards I'd actually have to put some effort into recruiting people I don't even know or buy extra accounts for myself - both scenarios which don't seem very appealing to me right now. :(

I might eventually break down and get the new Tribble with a second temp account, but at this rate I doubt I'll go as far as to get the variant Galaxy ship skin. Oh well. *shrugs*
