The length of this thread makes my brian hurt. Oh well at this point in time im just reading it to pass time till my dnd game. Anywho i feel i should get my .00002 cents worth in. For many of us we know waht it is like to deal long down times on games i personally wait 4 hours after most patches before i log in. There is a reason i prolong my suffering firstly for some reason migrianes make me giddy. That could just be my brain exploding but oh well i feel like i did after i had my tonsil removed and i was on morphine. Secondly i have found from personal experiance that waiting is a good idea. I played after a apthc on one game and sat ther for an hour gaining i forget how many levels but they found a game breaking (more or less on how you look at it.) bug and shut the servers down and get this rolled back all the PC's to before the patch. So this is not so bad. For everyone who calls me an idiot or something similar i have just one thing to say. I know waht bad is and it happens to weigh 450 lbs. be 6' 2" tall and be my younger brother. Well that and a food my mother thought of 12 years ago i swear that still sends shivers up my spine. Oh TRIBBLE dnd player here and has pizza ooo and cookies. Cyall tomarrow i think maybe i might have died by then who knows.
I Dont Know What the fuss is all about. I just logged in less than 5 min ago and am finishing my klingon mission i was on when servers went down. If everybody wasn't crying about TRIBBLE here on the forums you would already be in game..............................
HaHa now to see how many jumped at trying to log in. wonder if the STO server can handle the load of so many tools trying to scramble to log in. (ooops did i say that out loud)

Wait! I finally understand! It's so brilliant! In order to appease the people complaining that they'll out-level their pre-order items, the server goes down so that come Tuesday, you'll still need your items!
There's a reason ScyFy is running all day Trek on Monday ... it's so we have something else to do other than rant on the forums about the server downtime .... yes ... expecting server downtime on monday as well ... not being a pessimist .. just a realist.
This is absolute garbage. How is this a head start? I can only play on weekends due to work and a real life on weekdays. The gf works on the weekends so I have plenty of time to play this addictive game. I paid for a lifetime sub and I feel like I need my money back.
