    This is a good one!

And I'll have to second this as well:

Star Trek: The Motion Picture uniforms, particularly Kirk's snazzy Admiral outfit.

Enterprise (series) outfits. They look more "modern" than the classic TV series ones even if they are vintage.

Casual clothes: Ditto on the Vulcan robes somebody else mentioned. Nice outfit for Vulcans on Vulcan. Throw in Risa beachwear. Who wears a uniform to a beach? With long pants at that?

    Dress uniform options.

    Oh, and more costume slots.

If any of these wind up in the Cryptic store instead of a general release I'm ok with that. Those who want 'em can pick and choose that way.

Off the top of my head:

    * Sashes (for example, the silver sash that was worn by Worf during TNG and DS:9)
    * Captain's Jacket
    * More animalistic facial features, like goat horns, gills, feathers, fur, etc.
    * More ethnically diverse hairstyles, hair textures, and faces (we don't all look like we're in a 20 something CW nighttime soap opera).
    * Headbands, like the one worn by Ensign Ro.

Would be cool to use the Uniforms from Enterprise NX-01 (Blue one piece jumpsuits) and T'Pals' personal outfits. In advance, Thanks!

This! I hate that on my bridge some peeps run around in a uniform I haven´t sanctioned.

The TOS uniforms have the correct rank insignia available. I would like the same for the TWOK uniforms (on the shoulder):

The ability to REMOVE the collar on Klingon uniforms!!!

It currently can only be set to "none" on the Alien species.

    After that...
    • Klingon Eye patch.
    • Klingon "greatcoats" (the sleeveless long coats we see the NPCs in)
    • Klingon Sashes.
    • More variety in red-side armors (look about at any of the Swordmasters, Raiders, etc)
    • Gloves on women
    • laser-eye effect on borg eyes
    • liberated-borg BOs with the same eye options as my Liberated Borg Captain
    • Borg hands for borg captains
    • holstered weapons on hips, incl Daggers for Klingons/TOS MU
    • Enterprise uniforms
    • Space suits

Some things already mentioned... but the more times said, the more emphasis... heh.

    And for some uniform "features"...
    • Ability to assign standard uniform to your ship's bridge crew and away team security officers.

    • Ability to save uniform settings so that they can be applied to BOs easier.

    • Ability to automatically change uniform settings for specific environments. For example, hostile environment away team automatically beams down in EVA suits or beaming to a PVP planet automatically shows combat armor.

Zipper options for the TNG movie uniforms.

For example, in this photo. The way O'Brien wears his uniform with the zipper down slightly is what we currently have. I'd like to see an option to zip it up to where the grey quilting begins like how Worf, Sisko and Ezri are wearing theirs in that photo.

I'd like to see correct/proper rendering of weapons when they're out (so that the rifle butts don't go into our rib cages) and also would like us to stop transporting into friendly non-aggro bases (like earth) w/our weapons drawn. I'd also like to see weapons always holstered in friendly bases (it's very unseemly to have your weapon drawn in non-aggro friendly bases). Lastly, and most importantly, I'd like to see a button to toggle run/walk instead of having to hold down a key to walk.

One thing I've always hated (and I mean HATED) about all MMOs is that everyone runs, everywhere, all the time. I don't care if it's a realistic sim based game like SWG or STG or high fantasy like Eq/Eq2, AION, AoC or Vanguard...NOBODY can run forever and not get tired!!! PLEASE, please please please, make walking more common for immersion...not to mention it looks WAY cooler than running around all goofy and n00bish w/your damn weapon drawn while on earth space station w/zero aggro chance (I can see pulling a weapon out to show friends or yourself that graphic but THAT'S ALL).

As for the running -vs- walking thing, I've converted TONS of players over the years to the practice of WALKING around towns and home bases instead of running all the damn time (even casual gamers who can't put in more than 5-10hrs of gaming a week, if even that, and they STILL love walking around now, especially a "small" zone like space station earth).

    TRY IT!!!!!!!!

It totally agree, there needs to be a "always run" toggle that is not on by default in non-combat zones, normal people do not run everywhere in a social place like a town centre (which the space bases are the in-game equivalent of)...

And yes, I noticed it's very silly how you run around with weapons drawn all the time by default when you beam in straight away from the tutorial. You don't see any of the NPCs doing it. In fact you'd think that people running around with guns out and safeties off so suspiciously like that would be stopped by security!

It would be really nice if there was a bit more focus from the devs on story and atmosphere rather than concentrating on the "grind" elements for those who always want to try "win" unwinnable games that have no end.

Kittin, try /bind Z ++walk. Its a toggle for the walk function. Z can be any key, ever mouseclicks I think, I just used Z.

As for weapons always drawn Id like to see this switched.. Id also like to have the job function made the option and had walk be the default mode.

    Be different Cryptic.

are the voyager-type starfleet uniforms in the game somewhere?
    if not... add them please.
also, there needs to be more normal pants in the game.
one pair of normal pants that don't match any of the jackets (unless you got the TNG and DS9 uniforms anyway) .. is not enough...

The tops for TOS uniforms for females. We currently have the male tops from TOS, but they were not the same thing that the girls wore.

TOS and Wrath of Khan style environmental suits/EVA suits.

(Examples of each: Check out the TOS episode "The Tholian Web", and the scenes where Terrell and Chekov beam down to Ceti Alpha V on TWOK)

more long hair options for females
Only one while short has an overload

    Skirts for females

    more belt options

maybe and appearance slot for some away missions
"computer 23rd century clothing" Maybe even make away missions require certain clothing in order to blend in.

Give some of the male options to female. Clawed hands, gloves. Doesn't cryptic know that a good portion of male players play female avatars and a good portion of female players play female avatars? Yet we see male characters with a great deal more options in terms of clothing and such.

This can be done already. Just beneath tattoo selection, there is an X, Y position slider.. move those around and you can relocate / rotate your tatoo or scar.

    Thanks for the info:)

I am quite disappointed with the lack of clothing & character customization(also ship customization) so far in this game and agree with the previous posts eg:

more long and medium hair options
    more uniform options for females
more make-up options for females(or males)
boots and shoes designed for females(there's only one boots option in the klingon side!)
skirts! not just the TOS skirts, different skirts-micro mini, mini, above the knee, long skirts, leather, tight, plaid, A-line, flowing-loose skirts, etc
and shorts! short-shorts, boxer shorts, bermuda shorts, sports shorts, uniform(khaki) shorts, etc
sexy outfits for females-uniform and casual wear
    more jewelry (and body piercings)
more alien look customizations-tentacles, horns, jelly-body, rock-body, crystal-body(not all aliens look human!)
make the orion bikini uniforms available to all females(even feds!)

    I would like:
    More subtle Borg attachments
All Good Things styled future uniforms
an Improoved version of the TNG, DS9 and FC uniforms as they currently look like they have been made from Sacks and are generally horrible.
More comm badge variation and improoved styles
More gold hues for badges and rank pips (i think the current ones are too orange/brown)
More variation on Trill spots and more accurate colours (Browns and Oranges not just grey)
THe ability to have your entire crew use the same uniform not just bridge officers (not a uniform addition specifically but directly relates)
