Lifetime Sub: Can't create a borg character.

Hey all,

I have a lifetime sub that I ordered quite a while ago, however I've just logged in for the headstart and can't create a borg character? :(

Anyone else have this problem? Any fixes coming quickly?

    In another thread somebody said that you get it in the Cryptic Store under "Special Unlocks" or something like that. I have to be able to login first to see it. :D

    Most of the special things, including the WoK uniforms aren't live yet, and probably won't be until official launch. That way they can prove that we have indeed purchased the game.

    I also have this and checked my account and i have nothing listed now.

    Yea if you look on your account page on their site there are no products listed for all the pre-orders or lifetime subscriptions. Not sure how those can be missing but our accounts can still be flagged for headstart but I imagine that's why we can't create our liberated borgs.

    yes, but folks who bought lifetime subs have already paid for them, and their borg characters are supposed to be available now.

    Liberated Borg characters are the exception to this. Create a throwaway character, log in, and check the C-Store to pick it up (if I'm right, anyway).

    I guess being stuck at work for the first couple hours of Head Start isn't such a bad thing. I'll let you boys and girls find all the problems and hopefully get them resolved before I get home :)

    make a junk toon. Log in and open the c store/ Redem you borg toon, and log out the junk toon. Then relog in and make your borg toon. Bit of a pain but it works

    i think it goes the same with the Preorderbonusses. Problably no Borg before launch.

    Running into the same issue as everyone else in this thread. No liberated Borg option notwithstanding Cryptic has my 240 clams.

    No this is the Borg Character, not the Borg Boff. This was supposed to be available at head start, since these codes came from the head start which Cryptic supplied directly. The other items use codes in the retail boxes or can't be released on the street date (for download editions).

    The Borg is availale.


    Create a char then go to C-Store (Down arrow near the mini-map)

    Go to special unlocks and you will see your Borg there.

    Lol My thoughts exactly, I feel like a commander telling my troops to get angry and stomp, while I sit at my desk and get some paperwork done. =)

    You need to activate Liberated Borg on your account. To do this, make a character and log into the game, go into the C-Store, click the "Unlocks" Tab, and select the liberated Borg.

    Saw mine earlier in the store... but wasn't able to purchase them. Went in again later to get them and its gone from the store.

    and not available yet from the character screen. hmmmm

    they took it away from the C-Store. We'll have to wait untill they fix it.

    What a dissapointing launch for the lifers.

    Doesn't work for me.

    I have a lifetime subscription on my account (Yes, it's on my account, I checked) and it doesn't show up anywhere in the store.

    What a stupid way to do this kind of thing. Why can't you credit that character option to the account by default? Why are pre-order items that are purchased with a non refundable digital download still not available til the 2nd?

    You wanna **** off your fans before they even start finding real reasons to not like the game this is how to do it. :P

    They posted earlier that the liberated Borg assimilated the C-Store and they are still working on restoring it.

    I also read to watch www.startrekonline.com/support for updates but there is nothing being posted there.

    All we can do is wait for a Dev to post that they are available again. In the meantime create an alt and work towards unlocking Klingons.

    Pretty much sums up my feelings on the matter. Having serious second thoughts about spending $300 now.

    I just hope this gets fixed soon.

    So if we werent fast enough we have to wait while those who already were able to login and unlock are able to progress with those characters as their mains?

    Cryptic are really upsetting a lot who paid for Lifer and want to headstart as BORG.

    QQ? Yes - but we did pay a lot for Lifer and BORG perk was supposed to be available at headstart.

    Still Lifer = no more subs :)
